Dreamy Night Sky

Wei Chujiu pulled Zhu Yunqing out of the restroom and directly to the second floor of the shopping mall.

When the two of them got to the second floor, Zhu Yunqing had the time to get a glimpse of how magnificent the shopping mall looked. Since Wei Chujiu was no longer pulling her along.

It really deserved to be on the list of the most luxurious shopping mall in H City. The grandeur architecture of the mall was like seeing perfection at its very peak.

The whole mall was enveloped in a certain warm and calm ambience that made one feel that there were good things within every store.

The shopping mall seemed like it was built to make someone spend even their entire life's fortune to buy a few luxury items from the stores.

Exquisite sculptures strategically placed at the entrance of each store. It was as if they contained a magical spell to bewitch a shopper to venture into a new world (the store). As one look at any item from the various stores could seduce a shoppers' eyes. Gluing their eyes till they would max out their credit cards on purchases.

For a brief moment, Zhu Yunqing could not help but be captivated by how grand the shopping mall was. She lagged behind a few steps while she was lost, admiring her surroundings.

She had only visited a store once in her previous life due to the fact that she was never really one who liked shopping. Most of the things she needed were always bought for her. Occasionally she would get gifts from her family and friends too. Plus, since she was already engaged to the then crown prince at a very young age, she always lived, trained, and breathed like a crown princess. She also received various gifts from people who were trying to get into her favour.

Wei Chujiu, who had disappeared into one of the stores, suddenly realised that Zhu Yunqing was not following behind her. So she went back and urged her, "Come on~ we have to shop to our heart's content today," Her voice was laced with excitement as she strolled off once again, pulling Zhu Yunqing by the hand.

Entering the store, Zhu Yunqing was almost blinded by the dazzling and beautiful things held within the store.

Immediately, Wei Chujiu pulled her in. She disappeared further into the store. She really meant to shop to her heart's content. Although often, some of her purchases were returned by her mother whenever she was excessive. The original Zhu Yunqing would definitely not be shocked by Wei Chujiu's behaviour.

As Wei Chujiu disappeared, Zhu Yunqing just kept wandering around the shop. Although the clothes from the era looked different, she couldn't quite dismiss they looked beautiful in their own way. One dress particularly captured her gaze.

The designs on the dress reminded her of the night sky she often gazed at after her parents' death. That starry night sky was the only piece of solace she had when everything was going downhill for her. She always felt that her family was watching her from there whenever she looked up in the sky.

She heaved a deep sigh as her thoughts wandered back to her past life once again. She needed to stop torturing herself with those hurtful memories. Yet, no matter what, she could not erase those memories. They had now become a part of her. They had become things that shaped her life, events that built her backbone. Even though she gained new memories and a new life, they still seemed far-fetched sometimes as her old memories always came back to haunt her day in day out. As if it was only yesterday that she was betrayed by someone she trusted or thrown away by the person whom she gave her heart.

As soon as one of the store workers saw Zhu Yunqing absentmindedly stare at the blue gown while her hands caressed it. She came forward with a professional smile on her lips and said, "Miss, you have such great taste. It's a good thing I did not put it back. This dress is called the dreamy night sky. This dress is an international limited edition. We had another customer who liked it earlier, but it did not suit her skin. So, she had to go for something else. But I am sure it will suit you very well. You have such lovely and flawless skin and body. You will be delighted when you try it on."

The store worker heaped praises on both Zhu Yunqing and the dress, trying to persuade her to try the dress on just once. With the way, she spoke, it was obvious she just wanted to get a big fat check bonus from these two misses who just entered the store.

Hearing the store worker speak startled Zhu Yunqing out of her dazed state. A small smile crept onto her lips as she nodded, "Okay."

The store worker had on a pleasing, professional smile when she heard Zhu Yunqing's reply. "Let me remove it for you, Miss."

"The changing room is this way," the store worker added as she carried the dress and led Zhu Yunqing in the direction of the store's changing rooms.

When they got to the first changing room, the store worker handed the gown over, and Zhu Yunqing thanked her before entering to try it on.
