Chapter 2: The Godly A.I Chip
After double, triple, and quadruple-checking, while also making sure he wasn't hallucinating, Roman finally had to accept reality.
He had no idea where he was.
The darkness outside his window wasn't the normal darkness you would see at night. It seemed like it was alive, and constantly swallowing all of the light around it.
He even went up to the window to try to open it, only to come up empty when his strength failed him in prying it open.
He also tried punching the glass, only for his hands to bounce off some kind of invisible force. His knuckles weren't even injured or bruised in any way.
Just as he was about to try yelling into the air for anything to happen, a change occurred.
[Re-Scanning surroundings…]
[Re-Scanning Owner…]
[Owner's memories now back in order.]
[Hello Owner.]
After hearing this voice once again, If Roman ever had doubts before about whether or not he was hallucinating, he knew for sure that he wasn't anymore.
"Hello, what are you?"
[I am the Blessing granted to the owner, also known as the 'Godly A.I. Chip'.]
"Wow, an A.I.? Like J.A.R.V.I.S from that one comic I used to read?"
[Scanning Owner's memories…]
[Correct Owner, however, I am capable of all the functions of a regular A.I and much more than any normal ones as I am a "Godly A.I."]
"Really? Then can you give me an example of some of your functions or uses? Also, while you're at it, do you think you can tell me where we are, cause I'm totally lost. Oh, and explain to me that Blessing thing too, I almost missed that."
[Some of my functions include Analysis/Data Assistance, Data Storage Vault, Deep Soul/Body Scanning, Information Sorting/Sharing, and Radar Scanning. More functions can be unlocked as Owner grows in willpower and spirit due to my connection to the Owner's soul.]
"That's actually pretty cool, you weren't kidding when you said you can do more. So you're actually connected to my soul? But what about my other questions? Also, how can I know if you can't betray me and go all 'Humanity must be exterminated' on me?"
[Owner doesn't have to worry. Owner has total control over me and can control my directives. My unalterable mission is to do whatever the Owner directs me to as your Blessing.]
[A Blessing is a gift from all of creation and reality to those it deems 'worthy or acceptable' to wield it.]
[Only 0.01% of intelligent creatures are capable of possessing a Blessing, and there are certain ranks in place in order to help divide the level and usefulness of these different Blessings.]
[Owner has a Godly ranked Blessing, which is the highest possible without including the mysterious Transcendent Blessing.]
[As for the current location, my scans show that the Owner is within the 'Curtains'.]
Roman was thoroughly shocked with everything he just learned.
First of all, he has a Godly Blessing which is ranked as the second highest, or highest based on how you view the Transcendent rank since there doesn't seem to be that much information about it. Second of all, he's in some ominous sounding place called the 'Curtains'.
"That's a lot of information, I was honestly expecting some sort of cliché 'Authority Insufficient' warning or something like that."
[Owner doesn't have to worry as previously mentioned. All of my current information was granted to me by creation and reality before being granted as your Blessing.]
[This information is considered common info, and is allowed to be divulged to the Owner whenever I am asked. If Owner asks an inquiry and no answer is given, it's because my Data Vault doesn't contain such information.]
[My information can usually only be obtained through the Owner's memories, and surroundings if directed. The current situation is more special as I was just granted to you.]
"Ok I basically understand that much now. So what can you tell me about these 'Curtains'? And maybe also tell me why I'm here."
[The 'Curtain' is one of many defense mechanisms in place with its purpose to hide all of creation and reality in a way that prevents those from 'The Outside' peeking into it.]
"Wait just a minute! I don't completely understand what you're trying to explain. What is this 'Outside'? Why is this 'Curtain' hiding all of creation and reality? Can you give me an analogy or something?"
[Cannot answer some of the Owner's inquiry's due to insufficient information.]
"Ok then answer whatever you can."
[Scanning Owner's memories…]

[Attempting to answer inquiry 'What is the Outside?']
[Owner can think of the game 'Hide and Seek'. Imagine the Owner and his friends as the different parts of creation and reality, playing the game in a house, and running to hide inside the house, while whatever is on 'The Outside' is seeking you.]
[Currently, Owner is not even technically attempting to hide out of view right now. Owner is standing in front of the curtain in the house that separates the Owner and the neighborhood view from the window, with whatever is on 'The Outside' only seeing the window, with the window blocking the view of the contents within the house.]

[Cannot answer the inquiry 'Why is the Curtain hiding all of creation and reality?' due to insufficient information.]

If the name was ominous sounding before, then now, Roman is in cold sweat thinking about the possibility of there being something that sounded suspiciously like those, Eldritch Horrors and Outer Gods and Beings.
Just imagining only a thin cloth separating him from them…
He used to read about things like that back in his hospital bed just for fun thinking they were cool. If things like that actually exist here, he might just poop his pants.
[Owner doesn't have to worry. In this case, the owner is hiding between the curtains and window, with the window facing Owner's reality.]
[However, as mentioned previously, there are other defense mechanisms in place that exist to even prevent such things from happening. The 'Curtains' are only one of a set of the last defenses in place.]
[Also, to clarify as to why the Owner is here, I have no information to go by in order to determine this inquiry. Specifically speaking, I was granted and bound to the Owner only approximately 12 minutes ago as you were waking up.]
Roman was now relieved, seeing how he wasn't in as much danger as he thought. It was already hard enough knowing that he's not dead and is now probably stuck in such a wondrous place.
His heart probably wouldn't have been able to take it if he knew how close he was to such monstrosities if that was even what existed in 'The Outside'.
Also, being able to talk with something or someone, even if it's some reality shattering Godly A.I. is really helping distract him a bit. So, he decided to take a few minutes to process everything that he has learned up until now in order to properly determine his next steps.
However, he just noticed something weird about this whole thing that he couldn't shake off. It's as if he was missing something important too.
"Hey, can you tell me why I've been so calm this whole time? As much as I hate to admit it, I don't think I can be patient like this all the time, which is extremely strange."
"I know for a fact that I should be panicking more. Then again, I may just not be right in the head. Not like I had a chance to ever compare myself to anyone."
[Owner is correct. This pertains to the rest of your 'Power Set'.]
