Disaster Strikes

__________Xisuma's POV__________

Xisuma is fed up. He suspected Etho since the start of the game, but he just can't seem to find a good reason to convince the others. It's so blatantly obvious! False has noticed it too, and Doc also caught onto all the glances Etho has been exchanging with the local gremlin, Grian. The two seem to communicate without words but understand each other perfectly. But on the other hand, they're lovers, they'll try to win. It's... frustrating, to say the least.

Ren interrupts his thoughts: 'The witch wakes up again. Having already used the potion of life, they can only poison and thus, kill, someone, if they wish to. Maybe there is a Hermit in your way? Or do you suspect someone, but can't seem to beat them during the day? Only you know. Dear witch, do you wish to execute a fellow villager, or will you keep silent?'

As soon as Xisuma opens his eyes, he looks to where Etho is sat. He could... just... get Etho out of the game? He would be getting rid of Grian as well. He's literally killing two bats with one stone; Grian is acting... weird, to say the least. But then again, when doesn't he?

'The witch is taking their time. They seem to doubt their decision... I'm just saying, we don't have all night.' Ren chuckles.

Xisuma finally comes to a decision, and points towards Etho. He's going to beat himself up if Etho isn't a werewolf, but he takes the leap anyways.

'Are you sure?' Ren asks teasingly, 'You took quite some time there...'

Xisuma nods curtly: "Just get it over with already."

'Alright, then. Close your eyes again, so that you may not be discovered by already having them open when the night is over.' Ren waits for Xisuma to close his eyes. After he does so, Ren continues: 'Now, hermits, the night is over. However, disaster has struck during the night. Not one, but two villagers lost their lives. False and Etho, turn your cards and take a seat on the couch, you're dead.'

'Aww man, you got me.' Etho snickers. He turns his card and... a werewolf. The Hermits cheer and Xisuma lets out a quiet sigh of relief. Good. He knew it.

False turns out to be a normal villager. After both have revealed their card, they sit on the couch. False joins Stress, and Etho goes to sit in between Doc and Bdubs.

Huh? How? Wasn't Grian supposed to die with Etho? What? They were lovers weren't they?

Now, Xisuma is confused. He figured that the two were banding together to win together. But now... he isn't sure anymore.

Huh.

'Now that that's done, we're only left with 5 Hermits. Grian, you are the sheriff. Would you like to take the lead?'

'Uhm. Yeah sure.' Grian says, 'So. Thanks to probably the witch, two are dead. Etho being a werewolf. Which means that there is one left.'

'Stating out the obvious G.' Cub chuckles.

'Shut up.' Grian teases, 'I'm just saying. Even though the werewolf is obviously in the minority, we must not make any mistakes. I want to get this over with. Any suspicions?'

'Honestly,' Tango says, 'I know I should shut up about it, but I'm still gonna say it anyways. Grian has been lying all along. Ever since he said he was the peeping girl. I have no idea what your motives are, G, but you aren't getting away with it.'

'Okay.' Cleo says, 'Tango, we appreciate you a lot, but would you shut up about Grian? He proved us right and eliminated a werewolf for us.'

'I KNOW! And I don't know how the man's done it! But I KNOW that he's lying.' Tango says almost desperately. 'And now that G is the sheriff, we need to act NOW, otherwise this'll end in a tie!'

'Tango,' Xisuma says, 'you are making yourself look suspicious right now. I'm tempted to vote you off, next...'

After Cleo and Cub have confirmed this, Tango blurts out:

'Fine! Then vote me off! But I'm telling you, Grian's lying. Even better, if you vote me off, I'll be able to prove that I'm right!'

Suddenly, Xisuma sees Grian tense up a bit, and he starts to doubt if Tango is lying after all...

'...okay. Why not?' Cub says.

'Yeah, you're right. Why not?' Xisuma chimes in. 'Cleo? Grian?'

At the mention of his name, Grian looks as if he's on high alert. But... Cleo looks slightly hesitant as well.

'...yeah. Okay.' Grian reluctantly says.

'Okay then!' Ren pipes up, 'Let the voting commence once more! I wonder...' he trails off.

'Anyways, point your hands in one... two... three!'

No surprise, Tango gets the most votes.

'O-kay lads, here we go!' Tango exclaims, 'Finally man!' He turns his card...

...the little girl.

Oh god.
