Chapter 1 : Part 2

I stood at a short height of 1,64 meters. While she was flat chested she still had a really nice bum with amazingly toned legs, and was about 1,75 meters tall.

She told me that my brother had also send her an invitation to go to his 21st. It was actually weird but she said that my brother probably thought I needed a friend there. Which was true and made me even more excited for the party.

At lunchtime we met up with all our other friends and quickly I fell back into the school routine. Every afternoon I summarised my work. That weekend I saw Jackson and spend most of the time with him because I knew I wouldn't see him for a while again.

It was the third week of school and finally the long weekend came around. Friday afternoon me and Hana are busy packing our bags for my brother's 21st.

"Come on girls! We have to leave now or else we'll never get there in time, " James shouted from downstairs. Me and Hana ran down the stairs giggling. I looked in the mirror to quickly pull a brush through my hair, only to see that my hair had grown. A LOT.

It was so weird I could have sworn my hair wasn't this long yesterday. Where as 3 weeks ago my hair came till under my shoulders it now hang under my chest. I was shocked. I mean I've always wanted long hair but it always used to stay at their own length.

"Wow! Hana, are you seeing my hair! Its so long... I mean when did it get this long?!? " I asked her. She looked at my brother then back at me shrugging. "Lizzy it's really pretty, you shouldn't complain, it looks good on you" was her only reply.

After about another minute of admiring my hair I hurried to the car and soon our excitement built up again. My brother's friend, Shani, suggested that we tell some stories to pass the time. She told us a legend of a moon goddess who had fallen in love with a man long ago.

She said that the moon goddess was looked down on from the other god's because she had fallen for a human, and her farther the god of night had cursed her to be a wolf because she was an embarrassed to him. The moon goddess was sad because she could no longer be with her human while looking like a wolf. So then the goddess of light had taken pity on her. She then turned the human man into a wolf once a month on a full moon. So the human and the moon goddess lived together under the full moon for the rest of their lives.

It was a really lovely legend and I could feel myself intrigued, but at some point I must have fallen asleep.

"Lizzy, wake up, we're here." I heard Hana say to me while shaking me awake. I went around the car grabbed my bag and went into the house, that sat in the wood-area on the mountain, where we would be staying for the next three days.

I thought we were going to stay in a little cabin or something, but I was wrong! It was a huge house with about four levels. It was beautiful on the outside and looked antique, yet you could see it was well looked after. Three of my brother's friends greeted us as we go there.

Jett was 19, he had red hair and was very attractive with blue-grey eyes. Chase had blonde-brown hair with light brown eyes. Shani the girl that rode with us in the car went and kissed Chase on the lips.

I didn't even know they were together, must have happened while I was away with Jackson. They stared at each other while holding hands. I felt weird looking at them, like I was intruding because it looked like such an intimate moment.

The last guy Danny was apparently Chase's brother, he had the same light brown eyes, but with blonde hair. I hadn't met him before but you could tell he was maybe my age or a year older. After we put away our bags the boys started making a fire for the meat.

Everyone was busy preparing foods, even Hana. I couldn't help but notice how comfortable everyone looked. Like they've been here lots of times before, while I was looking around trying to make myself useful.

I decided that they didn't need my help, and started to look around. Inside all the furniture was modern except for a few paintings. The house run on solar power and was apparently completely off the grid. The rooms were spacious and lots of things stood around. In fact it looked like a few people lived here, it didn't really look like a rent out house.

I entered the kitchen and knew I interrupted a conversation since everyone suddenly went quiet. "Where's Durant?" Hana suddenly asked my brother. I knew she was trying to change a subject and cover up the awkward silence.

"Durant is coming tomorrow with the rest of the guys, he had some stuff he needed to take care of tonight."

As soon as my brother spoke I realized who they were talking about. I choked suddenly and all eyes turned on me. Hana immediately started laughing and gave me some water. I mean I didn't think Durant was going to come but it made sense that he would, he's my brother's best friend after all.

I haven't seen him in over a year and when I was younger he always used to tease me... The last time I saw him I had a huge crush on him and I'm pretty sure he knew. He always watched movies with me even if my brother wasn't there, and we used to sneak out and go swim at night. It just felt weird seeing him again but I guess it didn't really matter.

Hana gave me a cup of tea after dinner and we went to climb in bed. Me and Hana was sharing a room, even though this house was really big and they offered me my own room, I preferred to stay with her.

Our room was painted grey and had dark wooden floors. The beds were both queen size and had blue-green duvet covers on. It was a really pretty room and I wondered who it belonged to.

Hana said she needed to go for a walk, so I went to take a shower. After getting out of the shower I walk over to my bag to grab clothes, and then as I walk by the window I see a big grey and white wolf just outside. I jumped in shock and I swear for a second the wolf looked straight at me with hazel coloured eyes. Then the wolf was gone.

I couldn't stop thinking about it as I lay down in my bed. And after a few minutes Hana finally walks in. Thought seeing her would help me forget the wolf, but her hazel eyes only reminded me further of the wolf. Maybe I was just tired, and the story Shani told was probably just getting to me, so I decided to go to sleep.

I woke up with a big ache everywhere in my body. My entire body felt like it had gone through a heavy gym session. I tried to think of anything I could have done that would cause me this pain but couldn't think of anything. I sat up to see Hana missing... Jeez I'm usually the morning person, how strange it felt to wake up hearing voices downstairs.

I struggled as I stood up and went down to make myself tea. Walking down the steps that lead downstairs I felt my legs cramping and I started sweating like crazy. What was going on?

My brother came running when I let out a scream. I'm not sure what happened but he quickly picked me up and sat me back down in the bed, then called Shani over. She brought me ice bags and placed it all over me. My brother left the room and outside my door I heard voices whispering. The only thing I could hear, was someone said "It seems that she's going through the change."
