Chapter 7.5

---Yves---

I was lying on the cold ground full of snow. I feel her suffering. I hurt my mate. I make her suffer. Every day she is giving me chances because I don't know that she was my mate. And the day we met the sparks on her eyes disappear in a snap. She doesn't want me and now I wanted her.

On the day that she is teleporting and we end up in Rica's room she was wincing on the pain inside while she's unconscious. She knows my thoughts. She knows my attraction towards my first love. She left me hanging and when the night came that Rica enters my room she felt even more hurt because of her gift to me. I love the gift and I said that I was still in love with Rica. She's bursting with anger.

She had given me chances and she was tired. Now that I know that she is my mate I am still wanting another. I have no contentment. I was impatient. I watch her walk away as tears fall from her eyes. She was emotionless. I lift my hand to reach her but everything turns dark.

'Yves! Yves!' someone shouts in my ear. My body is shaking and continues shaking as that someone calls me. 'Wake up damn it!' It was Terence. I sat up holding my head. I look around and everyone is there.

'Minerva!' I call.

'She's gone. She left without any words.' Dina said.

'No! No! I have to find her.' I use my mind link to know where she is but she's blocking it.

'Drop it asshole!' Dina shouts at me that make everyone stopped. 'Please, I am begging you to give her time. If you wanted your mate, you have to fix yourself first.'

'I'm sorry.' I nod at her. She was right. I need to make it up to her and fix myself. I have to keep a distance away from Rica and never think of her. I should break my vows to her.

I recall all of her memories then I suddenly know where she lives. We skied down the mountain and go back to the castle but I told them to go on. Then I walk around the woods smelling the scents and her scent. I know that I was near to her.

I was amazed at the birds around the cabin. It wasn't that big but it was beautiful. There are lots of trees around with a birdhouse and a water wellspring. The bushes around are full of snow and I can smell her and feel her near here. The chimney is smoking and I can smell a jasmine tea.

I sighed and walk to the door. I knock and waited for someone to open it. I heard footsteps inside and I can smell her getting near to me. She opens the door. She was wearing a white dress with a white thick robe. Her hair is wet and her eyes are puffy.

'Can I come in?' I asked her.

She stepped back and turns back from me. I enter her cabin and closed the door. Hmm, it was warm here and smells so enticing. I think I can live here together with her. I stamped my feet on the carpet to remove the snow on my boots.

'Why are you here?' she asked as she put the teapot on the table.

'I wanted to see you. Before I go back to the town.' I told her. I removed my coat and hang it on the stand.

'We just saw each other an hour ago.'

'Yes, but it wasn't enough.' I walk to her and hugged her from the back while she is pouring tea on the two teacups. She was warm and I wanted to embrace her all day. 'I want you to know that I will love you and you will love me too. I'm sorry, my Goddess.' The embrace that I felt with her is like déjà vu. 'Please forgive me...'

'You are so cold. Please take a shower.' She said. I smile and kissed her neck.

'Where's the bathroom?' I asked her still embracing her.

'Upstairs at the left door.' I removed my sweater and put it on the sofa. Then I removed my shirt and pants. I left my boxer shorts. 'You can put all your clothes in the laundry. It's also in the bathroom.' She said not daring to look at me.

'Aye,'

'And there's my brother's robe on the cabinet.'

'Aye...'

I feel so excited about the sudden change in her mood. I went to the said bathroom. Her home is full of craft arts. There are Christmas flowers and leaves. I can say that it was real and it wasn't decaying. It was still fresh. There are Mistletoes on the ceilings and there are swords on the wall also crossbows.

I put my clothes on the laundry putting the powder and spin it on the machine. I look at the wide bathroom. There's a spa tub with hot water coming from the stones. Maybe it's a natural hot spring. I turned on the faucet and waters keep coming like a spring. It was really hot. I removed my boxers and put them on the machine too. Then I slipped into the spa tub. Woah... it was so relaxing here.

I just take my time there, bathing until the washing machine rings. I stood and put it all in the dryer. Then I went back to the tub. I wanted to stay long but I wanted to be with my mate. I went to the cabinet and saw a towel. I put it around my waist and I took the white big robe that will suit me. Then I went downstairs to her. She was sitting on the couch sipping a tea while reading something.

I kissed her on the cheek from the back of the couch. Then I sat beside her. She gestures at the tea and I took it. I sipped on the tea and it was so oh refreshing and warm at the same time. I move close to her and throw my arm at her back. I wanted to see my bite. I pull the robe that she's wearing. It was swollen.

'When will you visit the Town?' I asked her.

'I won't.'

'Why?' I didn't take away my eyes off her. She was beautiful. 'I wanted to be near you every day.'

'I have responsibilities here and your responsibilities there.' I lean my cheek on her shoulder. 'Stop thinking about your lust on me!' maybe the mark is burning that's why she's annoyed. Yes, I lust her that's why it's burning.

'I'm sorry... you are irresistible.'

'Check your clothes on the dryer.' She said. I look down and stood. The clothes are dry but I didn't wear it yet. I go back to her, pulling her up. I pull off her robe leaving her long dress. 'What are you doing?'

'I wanted to kiss you.' I moved my lips to her and dumped it on her warm one. It was our second kiss. I scoop her lower lips to open up her mouth. I took her hands pulling it to my nape. Then my hands go down to her waist. 'Kiss me...' I told her.

'I don't take orders.'

'Kiss me please...' it wasn't ordered anymore.

She pulls my nape and pressed her lips to mine. My tongue asked permission for an entrance. She opens her mouth, and I invade her inside. At first, she was just letting me without kissing back. Then she kisses me back when she learned how to do it. The kiss on the mountain was her first kiss. And this was her second kiss.

The current between us is driving us crazy including my wolf. He was so happy that he finally has her. I carried her without breaking our kiss upstairs. It was so gentle and so sweet and irresistible. I open her room. It smells garden there. I gently put her on the bed without breaking any kiss. I pressed my hands on the mattress to put my weight and gentle not to smash her.

I open my eyes and look down at her. She was glowing. Her golden hair is glowing too. I smiled at her and kissed her again. My hands crawl on the open of her dress, but I can't find it. Her hands pull the robe that I am wearing. I kiss down on her left neck. She stopped and pushed me. I look at her baffled. She sat up, hugging herself, and closing her eyes. I look over my shoulder where my tattoo is.

'I need you to get out.' I took her hand to my chest.

'I'm sorry. I will make this up to you. Okay? I don't want you to hate me. I am going to love you.' she opened her eyes.

'You don't have to force yourself. Half of me already died.'

'No...' I shook my head. 'I am going to bring it to life. We are immortals...' she pulls her hand from my chest. I removed the necklace from my neck, and I pull her hand placing it over her palm. 'Please accept my heart.'
