This was the first that I had argued with my wolf. I gently slipped off from her then I put on my warm slippers and took the gold dagger running back to my room. I had taken a bath and prepare for the royal breakfast with the Queen and King also with Keynes and his mate. I hope that hybrids are not there. Dina hated me.

The servant knocks and said that breakfast is already served. I just nods and fixed my things. I face the mirror and comb my messy hair with my fingers. Then I decided to go to the dining room. Zoë and Nathan are kicking each other's butt while waiting for the others. Zoë cleared her throat when Keynes and Natasha walked inside the dining room. Nathan chuckled kissing his wife's neck.

Then Terence and Dina take their seats together with Haney and Joshua, Nathan's cousin.

'Did you already call Minerva?' Zoë asked the servant.

'She's on her way, your highness.' The servant answers. She just nods.

'We will wait for the others.' She said.

Gabriel, Sam, Harris, and Chase enter the dining room. They are laughing, and they stopped when they saw Zoë. I guess they are planning some pranks for them. I take my seat then Minerva enters. Her scent enters my nostrils. It was so alluring that I wanted to jump into her bones.

'Good morning, Min!' Zoë greets.

'Morning.' She greeted and without any life.

She sat on the chair on the left side of the King and Queen. Well, there are two chairs on the head of the table where the King and Queen are sitting. And I am glad that I was sitting next to her. The servants had served our soup. It was great. I looked at Minerva's neck. She's not wearing the necklace.

My wolf howls and growls at me. He was still mad at me. Well, I already said sorry to him. I can't concentrate on their happy conversation while Minerva is still quiet and focused on her food.

'You want to go with us on the mountain?' Zoë asked her.

'What are you going to do there?' she asked back.

'Just... skiing... snowboarding. Please go with us.' We all looked at Minerva. She picks her phone from the pocket of her dress and tapped there. I guess she's checking something.

'I won't take long there.' She said.

'Yes!' Zoë punch the air and Keynes cleared his throat to remind her about the attitude. 'I am just excited.'

We go to the mounting wearing thick winter jackets and hiking boots. We men's are carrying hiking bags, ropes, and snowboard while the ladies have their knapsack, Harris, and Sam even took their mates just for this special day. I like how Minerva is dressed. It was all white and clear. I offer my hand to Minerva, but she goes on her own. Yeah, she's probably wanted to do it all by herself.

'Wait up!' someone calls.

Harris and Chase together with Gab laugh at the tall man. He had a small blonde beard, hiking bag, and winter hat.

'Stupid.' Minerva murmurs and she proceeds on walking up the mountains.

'Minerva, babe!' did he just call my mate, babe? I frown at him and growl.

'Hold up your fangs!' Keynes told me. 'He's just used to calling her like that.'

I roll my eyes and continue walking up to reach Minerva. We reach the top and they started playing. Minerva is just sitting on the cold stone. Then the guy named Sebastian who just followed us sat with her. Someone throws a snowball on me. And when I turn another snowball will hit on my face. Good thing that had duck down. I gather the snow and pressed it to make a snowball and I throw it back to Nathan. I make another one and throw it to Terence.

The girls are making snowman and snow castle. We mind link each other to play on the girls. Harris throws a snowball to his mate named Lily. Lily sneered at him and throws back a snowball. Everyone is throwing each other snowballs. Males versus Females. We had made barriers and make lots of snowballs to attack the girls. Minerva and Sebastian are just talking and he is flirting with her. So, I make a big one and throw it on Sebastian's face. I hide and I can feel that he grimaced.

I saw Minerva picking her bag and walk into the woods. I followed her ignoring them. We are far from them and I called her.

'Can we talk?' I asked her. She stopped and faced me. I walk near her. 'Where's your necklace?' I asked. She rolled her eyes and pulls it from her pocket. She walks to me and pulls my hand. She placed it on my palm.

'I don't need that.' She said turning around.

'Are you throwing my heart?'

'If it is what it looks like, yes.' I grabbed her arm.

'Do you have an affair with the guy there?' I furrowed and she narrows her eyes on me.

'What if I have?'

'I will kill him.' I gritted my teeth. 'Why are you like this? Tell me. How did I hurt you? I know that I didn't mean it, but please tell me so that I will be aware!' I pull her closer to me. We are just half an inch apart. I wanted to kiss that alluring lips of her. I wanted to know how it tastes and how it feels on my lips.

'Are you going to ask for an answer or fantasize me?' did she read my mind? I scoop her cheek and leans my forehead to hers.

'Tell me first.'

'I had marked you. You were just fourteen when I mark you though I haven't met you yet. That's why you're thoughts and everything you had done pains me inside.'

She marked me? The mark on my back is her mark. Is that how they mark us as theirs?

'Yes. But every enchantress had their style of marking. And I was different.'

'I'm sorry... please, don't punish me. I don't know that it hurts you much.'

'I can't love you.'

'Give me a chance.'

'I don't know... I give you chances every day. I don't know if I can do that anymore.'

'Please... tell me what specifically what I have done wrong? I will love you. You are my mate.'

'That's what I thought at first. But half of you don't want me. Half of you already belong to someone. And all of your heart wanted someone. Did you want to know, right? You wanted to feel what I had been suffering?' she pushed me and she removed her jacket. She shows her neck. 'Do it... seek on my memories.'

I stare at her. She was emotionless. How can she mask all of that? But her eyes giving me a hint of what she feels. I scoop her cheek and planted a kiss on her cold soft lips. I kiss her gently like caressing the baby's head. I parted her lips with my tongue and I enter her mouth. I kissed her passionately and slowly for her to feel that I wanted her.

A warm tear falls on her cheek. I stop kissing her and wipe that single tear. I pushed us slowly to the tree. I kissed her cheek down to her neck. I gently suck the skin of her neck on where I will mark her. My fangs elongate, and I sink it on her skin. She gasped and held on to me tight. My eyes burn open when her memories and thoughts enter my mind.
