Lilith dropped the man to the ground and as her body slowly transformed back into her human form she staggered backwards her entire being aching inexplicably.
Seeing this Merida rushed over to catch her thus Lilith fell right into Merida's arms. With her head leaning against Merida's shoulder she noticed that the cracks on Lilith's elongated neck had increased by at least an inch.
She bit her lip feeling very guilty. Because she hadn't had her first shift yet she could only scream at the time. She just didn't think that Lilith would come to her rescue in her werewolf form.
Because she hadn't shifted yet, Merida felt like she was useless dead weight Lilith was forced to drag along. What happened today was one such example. She sincerely hoped she would shift soon and lighten Lilith's load.
After helping Lilith on the stone bed she fed her some medicine and covered her with a quilt before changing into another dress.
