It turned out Dion truly caught a contagious fever. In the last few days, a lot of people got infected by this fever. The shadow gave us the news that the first person who was reported to have caught this fever was from Trouvaille. 

Dem had gotten really mad and sent a letter to Evan, expressing his anger that Evan had not been careful enough; if Evan had been careful, then a person with a contagious fever could not have entered the banquet. It was clear Dion had caught it from that banquet. He had been a little off since that day. 

"Mommy is here, baby. Mommy is here," I soothed my son as he was crying for a very long time.
