Choosing The Wrong Path

(From Blue's Perspective)

"We have given him one dose," Doctor Dimitri said.

"Nothing has changed," I mumbled as I watched Dem's still body.

"It's been only a few hours. Give it some time. We will increase the dose again five hours later," Cyan said annoyedly.

Luc and Ruby also came here to see what happened after giving the first dose. Nothing had changed. Cyan was pretty sure if the poison gas I made was the one that poisoned Dem, he made the right antidote and it would work just fine.

I was not done with my work with the eye. I was not even halfway there. First, I needed him to get up. The eye was not the main concern. He needed to be alive to use the other eye in the first place.
