I get a scolding from the principal for coming so late but other than that, classes go well and the day runs out smoothly. It is weird being away from Darrien and I start to have regrets midday as I sit alone in the cafeteria. There is a tray of food in front of me but the only thing I have been hungry for is blood. I am halfway through the flask and I don't want to run out before the school day is over.
I look at the sandwich on my plate and tug at it, as I grab my phone from the table. I want to talk to Dar but I know he will be worried if I message him so early. I am having a hard time here and all I feel is regretting this decision. I wish I could have thought about it some more before coming back to school.
