"Alright, first open up the app so I can go over everything with you." Thor said.

He opened the app and the screen showed 4 quadrants each with an element and with it was the number ten.

"You already know the game so you should know that each element has its own well which generates each mana and the number next to it is the mana." Thor pulled out a card and continued to explain, "So right now I have the card "Chocolate Bar", if I would want to play it, I'd need to use one normal mana or just any mana and I'll be able to play it." Thor played the card and a chocolate bar appeared.

"Wow!" the young man exclaimed, "Is that a real chocolate bar?"

"Yes it is," Thor responded, "Now this chocolate bar will last for only 3 days before I would need to play it again to keep it here. All cards will last for only 3 days however the cooldown for each card varies. Common cards, like this chocolate bar can be played every day, uncommon cards can be played every 3 days, rare cards every 5, super cards every 7, and legendary cards every 14. Alternatively you can permanently play a card by paying 3 times its cost for example if I wanted to permanently play "Icicle Man" I'd need to use 9 ice or water mana. Do you have that much?"

"Yeah I think so,"

"Alright then, we'll have you play your first card,"

"Ok, but I really don't want to waste my mana,"

"Don't worry," Thor reassured, "mana is generated every hour and resets to 0 everyday so you'd be wasting it if you don't use it."

"If you say so," the young man responded. He opened his box searching for a card that would be perfect to be played right now.

"Aha!" he thought to himself, "this will be perfect."

He closed his eyes and took a deep breath, and he played the card. A flaming sword appeared in his hand. "Perfect!" he exclaimed. He then turned around to see Thor who had fallen over from the surprise of seeing the intense flames. "Hey, are you ok?" he asked.

"Yes, yeah I'm fine," Thor responded in a not fine voice, "I was just shocked that you'd pull out a "Flame Sword" as your first card."

"I mean, I've always wanted a flaming sword. Who hasn't?"

"I haven't for one,"

"Yeah, well anyway, is there anything else you have to tell me?"

"Oh yes," Thor responded, returning back to his old self, "That next app tracks your cards, if you check now it'll show you how much time is left of the duration of your sword and how much longer is the cool down. And finally those last few apps are pretty simple to figure out. A calendar I'm pretty sure you know how to use, and the teleport feature. It allows you to instantly travel to a place you've been provided you're at a teleportation circle."

"Well I guess that's simple enough."

"Also where did your sword go?"

"Oh my flame sword? It came with a sheath so I put it in there since I don't think I should be walking around town with a flaming sword should I?

"Yeah anyway I'm going to—" A growl erupted from both men's stomachs. "I should probably get us a bite to eat like I promised shouldn't I?"

"Probably," the young man replied with a smile.

The pair walked across town and into the most famous tavern in Aubergine, "The Hound's Howl". As they entered, they could see the eyes of all the customers stare at them, what seemed like a demonoid and a human. The pair took a seat at a table and waited to order.

"Kind of nice just to sit down right?" the young man said, trying to start up a conversation with Thor.

"Yeah, it's nice. We should be able to relax for a bit."

"So, whatcha two chumps orderin' today?" a gruff voice called out.

The two looked up to see a bald man, packed to the brim with muscle, a beard thicker than a thornberry bush.

"We'll each have a Wolvous Steak," Thor responded, "I'll have a Carrion's Blood to drink and he'll have a… What do you want?"

"I'll just have a water," the young man said.

The waiter nodded and walked off. He quickly came back with their food. "Two Wolvous Steaks, a Carrion's Blood, and a water. That'll be 2 gold and 4 silver."

Thor handed him the money and said to the young man, "C'mon let's dig in. Hubon meat is really good."

The young man stared at his food, it seemed like a normal beef steak however, it smelled nothing like it. The smell wasn't unpleasant or anything, it was just unfamiliar. He took his knife and cut off a small piece and put it into his mouth.

"It's good!" he exclaimed.

"I told you," Thor said smugly.

"It's both sweet and salty, and as a big plus, it just melts in your mouth, maybe dying and coming back wasn't a bad option."

The pair continued to chat and laugh and enjoy their meal when the doors to the tavern slammed open. 3 human men walked through, 2 seemed like common soldiers while the other seemed like a high ranking officer.

"Oi, you shouldn't just barge into someone's tavern like that," the buff man walked up towards the 3 intruders only to be restrained by the 2 common soldiers.

"Learn to respect someone of high honor, peasant," the high ranking officer said, while taking off his helmet revealing a brown haired snobby brat with a massive scar slashed around his right eye. "I didn't come here from Rosinern to be met with trash like you."

By this point everyone was watching it go down. Many most likely wanted to intercept yet were afraid of being punished by the officer.

"Where's Rosinern?" the young man asked Thor in a whisper.

"It's the capital of the Humanian Kingdom," Thor whispered back, "If he came from there he has to be someone of pretty high importance."

The buff man seemed to have enough and stood up and quite easily removed the two soldiers. "It doesn't matter to me who you are, you broke my tavern and you're going to fix it".

They were within inches of each other, the officer not even flinching or back down replied, "I don't have to. Someone of your kin shouldn't even be talking to me, perhaps you'll understand more when I tell you my name?"

"It matters not what your name is—"

The officer quickly interrupted, "Oh does the name Bruh Lmao, not instill fear within you?

The buff man seemed to take a step back There was a moment of silence, when all of a sudden the young man burst out laughing.

"PFHAAAAA!" he cried, "H-h-his name! It's fucking bruh lmao!"

"Stop it!" Thor said, "do you know what you're doing or who you're talking to?"

"Oh you're laughing? Bruh said, slowly walking towards the two, "I guess a demonoid like you wouldn't understand the glory in my name, perhaps you know my father Rotf Lmao?"

If the Bruh had been trying to intimidate the young man, this had the total opposite effect. It had made him laugh even louder.

"H-h-h-h-his f-father's n-n-name is…" he couldn't finish because he was laughing so much.

"Actually stop," Thor ordered him, "Do you even know what trouble you're going to get yourself into?"

"Tell him," Bruh said, "The repercussions aren't going to be pretty if you don't stop."

"You think I'm afraid of you?" the young man asked, still in a laughing fit, "Why would I be afraid of some loser just riding on his father's coattail?"

Bruh was visibly angry, "You think you're better than me don't you, tell me shithead, what's your win to loss ratio?"

"223 wins and 777 losses," the young man replied.

"You're kidding me right?" both Thor and Bruh shouted.

"You have to stop," Thor pleaded, "You're screwed. This guy was personally trained under The General there—" he couldn't finish

"If you'd been better at the game perhaps I would've challenged you." Bruh smugly said.

"If you were actually good at the game you probably would challenge me," the young man taunted, "you're win to loss ratio isn't the only thing that defines your ability,"

"Alright then, if you really want to lose that badly, I'll challenge you to a Duel of Truth, if you lose," he slowly moved his finger across his neck, "you'll be sorry."

"I accept."

"Fuck," Thor thought to himself, "Why are you doing this?"

Meanwhile in the opposite corner of the tavern, a cloaked figure watched them from the shadows. A wide grin appeared on their face.
