38 Chapter Thirty Seven - Rhythm of Love

'I want to make love to you', he whispered so seductively into my ear.

I felt the hair on the back of my neck stand up at the thought of all the possibilities that would be the result of those seven, magical words. My eyes rolled back as I started drifting to a place where the whole world as I knew it stopped existing. There was nothing but him and I and the feeling of his lips crushing mine with such eagerness and intensity that I almost ran out of breath. Breathing wasn't a vitality for being alive anymore; his lips were. He had me reeling with pleasure and had my mind completely shut down. I couldn't think of anything else anymore – all my worries and fears evaporated. For the first time in my life I felt a fire burning inside of me that made me feel alive. I had two near-death experiences in the last two months and it felt like the universe was rewarding me with this handsome man. Boy, was I grateful!
