chapter 35: A peck

Naina ran to her room when she opened the door she saw Anita , Priya and neetu sitting on her bed basically waiting for her ,she was scared ,the way they were looking at her she knew she has a lot to answer them

"Where were you ?" Anita asked as she got up from the bed

"I was " I shuttered ,I was not able to say anything I was scared if they judge me or think bad about my character

"Naina we know tu kabhi kuch galat kar nahi sakti , I am just asking you why are you looking so terrified " ,Anita said as she approached me

"I was with ahaan " I replied

"Poori raat ?" Priya asked and I nodded my head in yes

"Why? " Anita asked

"He was not ok and he didn't want me to go" I replied

I told them everything,Priya and neetu felt sorry for him but Anita 's expressions scared me

"Anita trust me I didn't do anything" I said to her

"I know I am just I am scared for you " Anita replied

I looked at her in confusion because I didn't understand what she meant

"What do you mean " Priya asked

"She is falling for him " ,Anita spilled

I was numb to even say anything

"No I am not " I shouted on her

"You are ,stop denying it naina,you like him ,don't you " Priya also said

I had no words to say , I know what my heart feels for him but I was scared ,I was scared of him ,I do not trust him ,how can I trust someone I met just few days back,I was scared of his touches which makes my body burn like a fire ,how his voice makes my heart melt like ice , everything about him makes me feel dizzy ,I was not ready ,i was not sure whether he really likes me or he just likes what we shared and he wants more ,even though he confessed to me I was scared

"Naina I know you like him but you don't trust him ,but even though you don't trust him you spent the night with him ,this shows you have a little faith in him ,and did he break your trust ? Did he do something to you without your permission?" Anita asked me

I nodded in no

"Come here " Anita called me and made me sit on the chair,she sat down infront of me

"Dekh naina I know all this is new for you and your emotions are overflowing,you want to deny your feelings for him but at the same time you can't push him away " Anita said

I couldn't believe she understood me so well,I nodded my head at her words ,she cupped my face and continued speaking

"Just remember don't do something wrong that you might regret it later ,you met him just few days ago and you both are already getting physically close to each other ,just don't go beyond that ,tu samaj Rahi haina Mai kya keh Rahi hoon " ,Anita asked me and i nodded my head in no

"Ok let me be clear here ,since you both are very much physically into eachother don't go beyond kissing eachother" ,Anita said which made me red in embarrassment,my eyes widened finally understanding what she actually meant

"Finally she understood,why are you so dumb " Priya asked

"I can't believe she literally fell for him " neetu said

"Well looks like he fell for her first kyun naina ? " ,Anita asked I looked down blushing hard I remembered how he confessed that he likes me

"Now go take shower mom kab se bulaa Rahi hai for breakfast",Anita said

"Wese you didn't tell us how did you spend your time with jiju" ,Priya asked and Anita blushed

"Haan please tell us what happened,did you both enjoyed,how did jeej treat you,was it romantic " I asked

"It was good " Anita said and was blushing hard

"Common Anita tell us everything" ,Priya said

"It was one of the most beautiful night of my life ,the set up was so pretty across the beech ,and you know what there was champagne ,dinner and breakfast arrangement too, there was small tent which was decorated with red roses" Anita said as her eyes shined with full of love

"Aww jiju did his best to make you happy " ,Priya said and we all agreed

"No even he was surprised with all the arrangements,it was ahaan who made all the arrangements" Anita revealed

"Wow he is really so romantic " neetu said as she looked at me to see my reaction I tried to give a blank expression but my cheeks were definitely turning red

"I need to go to shower " I said

" Ok Maine heater already on rakha hai please jaldi aa jaana ,mom kab se bulaa Rahi thi " ,Anita said

In the evening everyone was getting ready for haldi ceremony

"Jaldi jaldi taiyaar ho jaao ladkiyon kitna waqt lagaa rahe ho ,abhi Tak dulhan ko bhi ready nahi kiya tum logon ne" Anita 's mom panicked as she saw Anita standing infront of mirror looking at herself

"Kya huwa Anita beta " Anita 's mom asked

"Mom mujhe shaadi nahi karni " Anita said which made everyone shock

"Ye kya bol Rahi hai tu Anita tu theek tho haina? Daamaad ji se kuch jhagda huwa hai kya ? " Anita 's mom asked as she got restless

Anita immediately hugged her mom

"Mom I can't stay away from you all" Anita said as her voice broke down

Neetu ,Priya ,naina were also so sad looking at Anita being emotional

Anita 's mom smiled

"Anita tu bhool Rahi hai you are just going for a month then you will come back to Mumbai ,do you remember? Jija ji will set up his business in Mumbai and you both will shift from Delhi " ,Priya said

Anita broke from the hug

"I know but mujhe Darr lag raha hai " Anita said

Anita 's mom smiled at her daughter being restless and scared ,she understood that it's just a situation all the girls face when they are about to leave their family and go into completely different environment

"Meri bacchi ,ladkiyon ko ek na ek din tho apne Ghar jaana hi hota haina ,aur tu fikar kyu karti hai bas 1 month ki baat hai ,phir daamaad ji aur tu Mumbai waapas aa jaayenge ,lekin ek baat yaad rakhna beta apne sasural Mai sab ka dil Jeet Lena iss ek mahine Mai " ,Anita 's mom said

Anita nodded her head and hugged her mom again

"Ye kuch zyada hi emotional nai ho rahi " naina said to Priya , Anita heard it

"Jab Teri shaadi hogi na tab pata chalega abhi tho Tera bas seeing off phase chal Raha hai " Anita commented ,Anita realized she unknowingly spilled

"Seeing off? Ye kya hota hai ?" Anita 's mom asked

Naina 's eyes widened in shock ,even Priya neetu and Anita were looking at each other not understanding how to cover up

"Naina tujhe idhar koi pasand tho nahi aa gaya?" Anita 's mom asked

"Ji?" Naina asked it shock ,her face turned red,she looked at Anita in anger

"Mom Mera matlab tha ki jab uski shaadi hogi tab pata chalega abhi tho wo bas mujhe see off kar Rahi hai " Anita said

"Oh accha sorry naina beta Maine galat samjha " Anita 's mom said ,naina froze in her place looking embarrassed and shy

"Accha tum log taiyaar ho jaao jaldi time ho Raha hai mai neeche Jaa ke arrangements dekhti hoon " Anita 's mom said and left

As soon as Anita 's mom left ,naina took the pillow and ran towards Anita who was also running to escape

"How dare you Anita ,ruk abhi bataati hoon tujhe " she shouted and kept running after her ,neetu and Priya bursted out in laughter as they saw the two fighting for their lifes

Anita ran outside ,and naina followed her and ran fastly ,naina threw the pillow but it didn't hit Anita and landed on ahaan

"Ahaan " naina said ,Anita and others started laughing

"Kya kar Rahi ho tum maar dogi kya mujhe " ahaan said as he covered his eyes after he got hit by a pillow

Naina immediately ran towards him "dikhaao mujhe kahin zor ki tho nahi lagi " naina asked

"Aankh jal Rahi hai ah" ahaan said without removing his hand from his eyes

"Let me see " naina said and removed his hand away from his eyes

"Are you planning to kill me or what " ,ahaan asked dramatically

"Shut up kisne kahaan tha tumhe yahaan aane ke liye " naina said as she tried to look at ahaan's eyes ,he was not able to open it properly

"Why are you so tall " naina asked as she lifted her feet to look in his eyes properly

"You have to come closer itni dur se check karogi tho aise hi lagega " ahaan said ,he held her waist and pulled her closer

"Ye kya kar rahe ho tum sab dekh rahe hai " ,naina said as she tried to push him away

"Hum kuch nahi dekh rahe " ,Priya commented and others laughed

Naina was so shy and ahaan was loving how she was behaving differently after the night their spent together

"You look fine to me " naina said she pushed him with one hand on his chest but ahaan was quick to hold her waist by both his hand and pull her close ,naina gasped ,still trying hard to push him away

"You know me well " ahaan said

"What do you want ? " Naina asked slowly

"Kiss " ahaan murmured,naina's eyes widened and she looked behind to see her friends reaction ,for her surprise the girls weren't looking at them and were busy in getting ready

Naina looked back at ahaan

"Leave me" ,naina said

"No first kiss me this is your punishment for hurting me" , ahaan said as he pulled naina closer

Naina moved closer to ahaan which made ahaan curious and excited ,he was just joking but the way naina was shyly moving closer to him ,his heart was beating so fast ,naina cupped ahaan 's face ,ahaan grip on her waist tightened ,naina quickly pecked on ahaan's lips ,she pushed him and ran inside the room and closed the door

ahaan froze in the same place ,his heart was beating so fast ,he didn't expect naina to kiss him ,he couldn't even react or respond to her kiss because he was so surprised ,ahaan was also surprised at the affect naina has on him ,no one made him feel the way naina makes him feel

"Ahaan idhar kyu khada hai aise kya huwa ?" Abhay asked

"Wo naina" ahaan said absentmindedly touching his lips looking at the door

"kya bol Raha hai? Don't tell me naina and you fought again " Abhay asked

Abhay got no reaction from ahaan

"Ahaan " , abhay said loudly that's when ahaan came back to his senses

"Kya ho gaya hai tujhe Teri tabiyat tho theek haina ,aise kyu khada hai?" Abhay asked

Ahaan hugged abhay in happiness ,abhay was confused at his behaviour but hugged him back

"You look so happy " ,abhay commented and smiled
