chapter 32: Nightmare

It was late midnight around 2am ,ahaan was sleeping ,he saw someone was dragging his mom away ,then dragging his dad ,he was shouting and begging to not take them away from him but nobody listened to him ,he was left all alone in the dark room

"mom ,dad " ahaan shouted and woke up from his dream

Ahaan was not able to sleep properly after his parents passed away ,he gets

nightmares,in his dreams he used to always see someone dragging his closed ones away from him and he used to wake up shouting his mom 's name

Ahaan held his head as he was terrified ,he was sweating badly and his whole body was shivering

Meanwhile naina was in her room she was trying to sleep but she couldn't so she got up from her bed and sneaked out of the room to drink some water she was thirsty too ,after drinking water when she was passing from ahaan 's room she heard some noises,she heard him shouting "mom and dad " naina opened the door slowly she saw ahaan sitting on the bed holding his head

"Ahaan ??" Naina called out ahaan 's name ,as soon as ahaan heard her he ran towards her and hugged her tightly,naina was shocked to even react ,ahaan put his entire weight on her ,she was struggling to breathe,when naina touched him slowly she realised ahaan was shivering ,and his entire body was burning up

''ahaan are you okay ?" Naina asked slowly ,ahaan didn't say anything,he hugged her more tightly ,naina hugged him back,she somehow managed to walk with him ,when they reached towards the bed naina made ahaan sit on the bed ,he was still not breaking the hug

Naina broke the hug ,she looked at ahaan ,she was so shocked to see him in this state ,he was sweating badly ,his face was full red ,he had tears in his eyes,his body was shivering and he was looking down ,naina held his face with both her hands and made him look at her ,when they gazes met ahaan broke down into tears

Naina didn't know what to do she never consoled anyone in her life ,her heart broke to see ahaan in such a state ,she hugged ahaan again ,he hugged her tightly ,he was still shivering so naina rubbed his back lightly

"Your body is burning up let me get you some medicines" naina said and broke the hug ,she was about to go but ahaan held her hand , "please don't go " ahaan said

Naina made ahaan sleep on his bed ,she covered him with the blanket ,she went to

washroom and brought cold water in a bowl,she sat down on the bed beside a sleeping ahaan,she had a handkerchief,she dipped the handkerchief in the water,squeezed the water and kept it on his forehead,ahaan kept looking at her ,he held her hand tightly

They both didn't know what to say ,naina was hesitating to ask ahaan what happened to him

Naina removed the cloth from ahaan 's forehead and again dipped in water squeezed it and kept it on his forehead,she placed her hand on his neck ,ahaan shivered

"You are burning up really bad " naina said

"Let me go and bring medicine" ,naina said but ahaan held her hand more tightly

"No don't go I am fine " ahaan replied

"You are not fine ahaan , temperature is increasing let me go " ,naina said

Ahaan moved towards table still holding naina 's hand tightly ,he took his mobile and handed it to her

"Huh?" Naina looked at him in confusion

"Abhay ko call Karo ", ahaan murmured slowly ,his voice was so low ,he was really not ok

Naina took the mobile from ahaan ,she searched for abhay 's number and called

Abhay received the call after 3 rings

"Hello " abhay said

Naina didn't know what to say

"Ahaan kya huwa ?" Abhay asked in worried tone because there was no response from the other side

Ahaan was losing his consciousness,naina turned around to give his mobile to him ,she noticed him closing his eyes

"Ahaan ??? Ahaan keep your eyes open please,ahaan??" Naina kept the mobile on the bed ,and moved closer to ahaan,she touched his cheeks and tried to wake him up

Meanwhile abhay on the call understood something was wrong abhay immediately got out of the room and rushed to ahaan 's room

"Ahaan please wake up " naina was trying to wake him up as ahaan fell unconscious,she noticed his body was heating up bad

"Kya Karu,kisi ko bulaao kya " , naina got down from the bed and went towards the door she saw abhay rushing too

"Naina tum yahaan ,kya huwa ?" Abhay asked as he saw her in tears

"Wo ahaan ,pata nahi kya huwa,I was passing by his room and I heard his scream so I came to check ,his body was heating up now he fell unconscious" naina told him everything

"I think he had a nightmare again " abhay said

"We should call a doctor ,he fell unconscious " ,naina said as she rushed back to ahaan ,she kept her hands again on ahaan's face and tried to wake him up

"Ahaan wake up please " she said slowly patting his cheeks

"Naina relax let him sleep " abhay said

"What do you mean relax ? He fell unconscious,go and call a doctor " ,naina shouted at abhay

"Give him this medicine,he will be ok by tomorrow " ,abhay said and handed her the medicines

"He is unconscious how can I give him the medicine? " Naina asked

Abhay was so surprised to see naina so worried for ahaan ,he was also happy how there is finally someone in ahaan 's life who will take care of him

Abhay was the only person who knew about ahaan 's nightmares ,infact abhay was the closest friend of ahaan ,no one other than him knew about it not even vineet and akash ,now it was naina who knew about it

"His body is also heating up ,oh god " naina said

Naina went more closer to ahaan ,her face was too close to his face,naina tried again to wake him up ,"ahaan wake up " she said ,and sprinkled some water on his face

She turned to abhay "tum abhi Tak yahi khade ho ? Call the doctor " naina shouted at abhay

"Naina " ahaan murmured ,she immediately went closer to him

"I am fine " ahaan said

"You scared me " naina said as she tried to make him sit to take medicines

"Ahaan tu theek tho haina ? Should I call the doctor ?" Abhay asked as he rushed towards ahaan

"Maine kahaan na call the doctor " naina said angrily

"No I am fine " ahaan said

"You are not fine ,you know you just fell unconcious,we should call the doctor " naina said as she handed the medicine to ahaan

"I am fine , tum bhool Rahi ho Mai bhi doctor hi hoon " ahaan murmured slowly

Ahaan took the medicines and layed down on the bed

"Doctor ho tho kya khud ka treatment khud hi karloge ? " Naina said

Ahaan smiled looking naina being so worried for him ,all his fears disappeared looking at fiercy but caring side of naina

Naina got conscious when she saw ahaan smiling ,she felt embarrassed how she was being so mad and worried for ahaan

"I think I should go I am sleepy " naina said and was about to leave ahaan immediately held her and pulled her close ,she fell on him as he was laying down ,her hands were on his chest and his hand held her waist protectively

"What are you doing ?leave me " naina said

"Sleep here " ahaan said

Naina looked at him in shock ,abhay who was standing there was also looking at them in shock

"I think I should leave " abhay said

"No wait ,tum ahaan ke paas raho I am leaving " naina said

"You are not going anywhere", ahaan said and wrapped his arms around her shoulder ,she struggled to move out of his grip
