"Why is she not coming?" The chief healer asked as he looked anxiously at the Princess's lady-in-waiting.

It was today that they were supposed to leave Duke Beaumont's mansion. Although he did not see the Princess for a few days prior, he was still aware that she would not ignore the Emperor's order. Especially when the Emperor had  already sent the carriage, specifically to bring her back. 

"Any particular reason?" Crown Prince Richard asked as he looked at the people standing there. He had simply hopped on the horse and then rode to the Beaumont mansion when he knew that his father had asked the Princess to come to the Palace. The plan was about to begin and he was yet to unravel the identity of the man who claimed to be the first Prince.
