I really like this story, the FL is cool but the ML is trash. I wonder why she hasn't cooked up a plan to leave him for good. I left the story only to return to 50+ chapters but they are all trash, Anyway it's still better than Mr Yuan dilemma

When i read the synopsis i have lot of expectations but the story is so disappointing. The female lead is just a plain stupid for me and the male lead i even want him to die. I keep reading the story, hoping that maybe nust maybe that the story will get better but no it only get worst. JQY is the worst ml so far for me, he have a wife but still love other woman. I just hate it.
I used to be a fan of this novel.but right now this novel is making me feel disgusted. I think for author it's pretty normal to have sex with a woman without her answer. I got it that sometimes for the story there can be some disapproving scenes. But my problem is the afterwards reaction of that girl.after raping her the man is saying it's only because I love you and the girls heart crack!!!! Why RAPE seems to be pretty normal in this story.and yeah she is not the only one who was raped another girl was raped too by her so called possessive lover.nonsense. no means no. Why in here it is implying that have her body heart will automatically follow!!!!!
The plot got me so hooked up that's why I anticipated a good story but who would've thought I would be this disappointed. The plot was the only good thing about this story!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wonder where the good reviews came from????????????????????????????????????????? Are they even real?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????!!!!!
Dropped this book in a heartbeat. Romance? I donāt consider rape to be romance, especially multiple times to different women. Canāt stand stories like these that romanticize rape. š¤¬ The author demeans and detracts away from whatās supposed to be a really strong female character. But apparently no matter how strong she is, she STILL gets taken advantage of! If I could give negative stars I would!
The story was entirely brought down by the Male Lead who is extremely unlikable, when I said 'extremely' it means he really is super unlikable. Let's talk about the issues first. Are we suppose to like this guy who openly and blatantly pines for his ex-girlfriend even after doing the deed and tying the knot with the Female Lead? He drops whatever he is doing (including the honeymoon with the FL!) to be with the ex-girlfriend! Situations where the ML demonstrates his alpha qualities like iceberg CEO/prince characters are so rare, what sticks out is his flakiness towards the FL. The female lead herself seems to be aloof but remain possessive due to... monetary reasons? It should be an interesting series but I feel the author threw a whole bunch of characters and situations that distract from the main issue at hand: a jealous rival of the male character whom the ex-girlfriend is in love with, the ML's sister who got entangled with the FL's ex-husband, the FL suddenly helping and picking up an apprentice.
...I feel a bit bad to having to lower the score like this but I tried a lot... Iāve reached f chapter 40!!!!! And I canāt stand it!!!!! I already felt like throwing the towel over halfway ago... I hate the male lead! And I can tolerate a lot except this kind of person... Hate hate hate... I had such hopes for this and now I feel like Iāve absolutely wasted my time... Not even the female lead can save this because sheās so dumb to stay with that beep... Sorry, donāt know if Iām too harsh, but this is trash in my eyes...
Honestly there are just so many problems with this novel. Wouldn't recommend it at all. First off, this novel isn't bad because of the English (the grammar is fine, same with capitalization and punctuation). It's everything else that sucks. The pacing is absolutely horrendous. Everything just jumps from one thing to another so quickly and without proper development. The MC and ML are just overall bland characters with no great chemistry with each other. They are smushed together when their feelings for each other aren't aligned. There's also very little logic behind the story and the actions of the character. Don't waste your time reading this novel.
The story is infuriating. The fact that the MC has powers but canāt do anything to her husband just upsets me. The misunderstandings, the blame that is tossed around, itās really not an ideal relationship. Sure, it might be more realistic but I really hate the misunderstandings and the random progress and backtracking process
