Spoils of War / Evolution
Leo crouched down to look at his new monster which looked like a great white shark, except it had two muscular legs which ended with clawed feet with which it stood upright on, and two long arms with huge claws at the end. Its head was the same as a great white, and the body sloped downwards with its fin protruding and eventually it ended with a long tail with a fin on the end. The creature was light grey in colour, apart from the white strip that took up its entire underside. In terms of size, it was about half the height of Leo, which was taller than Reaper, and it was as wide as Leo.
Leo used inspect on his new monster.

Looking at his new monster's status, Leo was incredibly impressed, and he expressed this, "Look at you, physical powerhouse huh? I've got a plan to make you even stronger, (he turned to Reaper) don't worry I have a plan for you as well. First though, I need to name you. I think I have a good name for a team member like you, Doom. What do you think?"
Doom started swaying his tail and smacking it on the ground which left a crater. "I'll take that as you liking it. Welcome to the team Doom! Before I help you two become stronger, I've got to focus on myself for a minute."
Leo separated all of the loot he had received into three piles, one for each of them, and his pile was first. In this pile was the minor healing potion, five personal physical stat points, Telepathy skill book, two personal ten magical stat points, dimensional storage bag, stealth cloak, ???EGG??, wooden spear, elixir, iron battle axe, paralysis potion, moderate healing potion, and the frost enchanted sword.
He immediately used all of his stat points on himself which brought his stats up, especially his magical stat. After this, he used the Telepathy skill book, and planned to use it to try and communicate with Reaper and Doom after he was finished improving himself. He put the stealth cloak on and held the frost sword in his right hand. Everything else he put in his dimensional storage bag which he proceeded to tie around his waist.
Once he finished with himself, he turned to Reaper first as he was the original team member and Leo wanted to reward him for his efforts throughout the dungeon. In Reaper's pile was the fire gem, the ten magical stat points, and the Speed Boost skill book. Although he would have liked to reward him with more, there was nothing else that would have been helpful to him.
Reaper ate the fire gem once Leo presented it to him, and while he was eating it, Leo assigned the ten magical stat points to him. Once Reaper was finished eating, he put one of his paws on the Speed Boost skill book and learned the skill.
After Reaper was finished being improved, Leo put Doom's pile in front of him. In this pile was the fifteen physical stat points, the Heavy Smash skill book, the adamantine anchor, and the experience orb. Leo immediately assigned the fifteen physical stat points to Doom and, while he was doing this, Doom used the Heavy Smash skill book. After this, Doom picked up the adamantine anchor which had a long chain made of the same material. He struggled a little bit at first, but soon found that it became much easier, and he was able to swing it with ease. Despite it not necessarily being a weapon, Leo thought that an indestructible and very heavy weapon would be perfect for Doom who was completely physical in terms of his abilities.
Leo was not done with Doom yet though, as he wanted to feed him the experience orb. This was because not only would Doom gain a large amount of experience, but Leo would also gain experience and therefore so would Reaper. Leo was hoping for Reaper to evolve after this, but if he did not then it would not be long until he did anyway, so it was not that big of a deal.
Doom ate the experience orb and once he had swallowed it, Leo checked his own, and his monster's statuses to see what had changed.

Hell Fire Cat: Similar to the fire cats but all fire attacks transform into Hell fire attacks. Not specialised in either magical or physical stats, as both are evenly distributed.
Fire Tiger: Evolution of the fire cat, specialised in the physical stat, as well as imbuing fire energy into attacks. Cannot use magic anymore, but the body is much stronger.
Fire Lion: Evolution of the fire cat, specialised in the magical stat, loses the ability to imbue fire energy into attacks, but instead can create a flame shield and use fire breath.

Leo was incredibly happy to see that reaper had an evolution available, and he knew which one he would be picking. He was also happy that Doom's stat distribution did not increase his magic, and instead increased his physical stat by 2 points every level.
Leo looked back over Reaper's evolution options, and picked the one he felt would be the most beneficial in the long run, the Hell Fire Cat.
Once Leo picked this option, Reaper's body started to glow and his figure was distorted by the flashes of red and black. When the flashes disappeared, Reaper stood where he had been before. His body was much blacker than before, and the red patterns on him had become a more blood-red colour and had become more unnatural looking. His size had increased, as he was around twice as tall, long, and wide as before which made him quite intimidating.
Leo checked Reaper's status again.

Leo was pleased with this increase in stats and skills, and was excited for all of the future evolutions each of his monsters would go through. He felt that he should leave the dungeon soon, but not before opening the remaining five loot boxes which he had gained once Doom ate the experience orb.
Loot box 1: Fifty physical stat points (personal). *Upon use, gain fifty physical stat points yourself.*
Loot box 2: Fruit of Evolution. *Upon consumption, a creature that would not normally be able to evolve will gain the ability to do so. If the consumer has the ability to evolve, or has previously evolved, this fruit will do nothing.*
Loot box 3: Skill Book, Element (personal). *Upon use, this skill book will grant you the element that suits you best, as well as the ability to view your monsters elements.*
Loot box 4: Thirty Five magical stat points (personal). *Upon use, gain thirty five magical stat points yourself.*
Loot box 5: Skill Book, Weight Alteration (tamed monster). *Upon use, this skill will grant one tamed monster the skill Weight Alteration.*
This was quite possibly the best group of loot boxes he had obtained so far (except Reaper and Doom's loot boxes), as everything he obtained was useful and incredibly good compared to other items he had previously received.
He immediately used the stat points he had obtained to make himself stronger, and then placed the Weight Alteration skill book in front of Doom, as it made sense with the rest of his skills.
Leo picked the Fruit of Evolution up, and ate it in one bite as it was not very large. He felt a change in his body, but nothing major and he decided to check his status after using his new skill book as well. Leo took the element skill book in his hand and used it.
Once he did this, a rainbow coloured light shone from his body before dissipating, and he checked his status to see what had changed.
