The Weak, the Vile and the Damned.

In a world unknown to Earthlings, a continent much like an Africa in a Western Dark age, the righteous of Irnia do battle against the unholy hordes of darkness. This is a battle that has gone on for eons across all realms, the conflict between good and evil; the Long War that never ends. In Irnia, faith alone cannot save the pious from the ill attentions of the unclean.

Adighike; The Weak

Cowards, fools and gullible ignorant simpletons made up the hordes of the Adighike. The dross of humanity tainted by evil so ancient it reifies stasis, dust and decay. Amongst the unforgivable malign mass of foes seeking to swarm, sting and devour the dour warriors of Azrael, the Adighike—ashen in complexion, clad in dark-crimson rags, fresh ever-bleeding tattoos of unholy servitude and demonic subjugation of body, mind and soul—charged alongside their accursed brethren in a blood-crazed frenzy. Each contemptible villain eager to maim and flay in the names of Unholy masters and Dark gods, to spill blood to the glory of the Once-Angelic.

They spat blasphemies as they ran to meet the Sentinels of Piotr in battle.

They spoke sacrileges, shrieked profanities at hallowed concepts, threw insults and envenomed words at the pious Knights. The demonic host of the Adighike were arrayed with all manner of weapons to suite their murderous needs—mauls, rusty blood-stained swords, cruel serrated daggers, clubs marked with unholy script, spears, crude axes, and bare limbs which ended in sharp nails to desecrate the supposed human-vessels of the Hallowed Ghost.

Their mien spoke of death and damnation, a promise of a deluge of blood to come. Their Unholy Passover would be made a thing from the broken, shredded and abused bread-bodies of the righteous. They would glut themselves on the blood-wine of the faithful.

These numbskulls of demon-sullied folly take pride in their foolishness. Their sins of ignorance, waywardness and idiocy a thing of salvation for them. By their cursed hands would they see the wise devout to ignoble deaths. They were devilish human-hounds; humans with the mentality of dogs baying and howling for innocent blood.

The Paladins would see them euthanized with consecrated steel, blessed limb and tongues of divine power.
