Different vibe

The dance continued as many other couples joined the dance floor. It felt like time seemed to stop between Xia Biming and Xue Changmin, and that they were the only ones in the room.

They were interrupted when a young man bumped into them and asked for Xia Biming's hand for a dance. The young man was Mo Zichen. Mo Zichen was known to the world for being the second heir to Mo Incorporation. Since his big brother took care of everything, he messed around a lot. He was notorious for being a playboy and drinking a lot.

Not wanting to cause a scene, Xue Changmin let Mo Zichen take Xia Biming away for a dance. The look in her eyes changed. They went from sensing comfort to repulsion and disgust.

The beat of the music changed, it was faster now and more upbeat. Mo Zichen's hand slid down a little too far for Biming's liking. And before she knew it, his hand was on her butt. 'How disgusting! In front of all these elders too!'

She pushed him away, but he was stronger and pulled her back. Xia Huanting noticed. And made his way to the floor, ready to break this insolent brat's arm.

"AHH!!" Mo Zichen screamed. "What the hell are you doing Xia Huanting?!" He let go of Biming and tried to break from Huanting's grasp.

Huanting let him go and with a straight face said, "Who do you think you are to touch my sister like that? You're lucky I didn't break your hand!" He took Biming with him and signaled the guards to escort Mo Zichen out of the estate.

"Biming, he didn't do anything to you did he?" Biming shook her head and before either of them could say anything else, their parents were standing next to them with the Xues. Biming looked up and noticed that all their gazes were upon her. They were all lasers of protectiveness burning right through her.

"I'm fine. Thanks, big brother. He disgusted me, that was all. Mom, could you help me find Xi Xi? I think I'll head upstairs and change into the other gown now." Biming pleaded her mother. And her mother obliged. They mother-daughter duo found Fang An Xi quickly and then the two young girls made their way up the stairs.

"Ming, what happened?" An Xi asked Biming and she shut the door behind them.

"That guy, the first one I danced with. I don't know, I felt all warm and fuzzy inside when we danced. I never felt that with Yu Tianhao. Not even once. "Biming confessed to An Xi. It didn't help that he was also so handsome.

"I saw you, you two looked so in love! Is it your first time meeting? I swear, he looked like the guy eyeing you at the club last time." An Xi was trying to remember how that guy looks in comparison to the one tonight. "I'm pretty sure that's the same guy!"

Xia Biming kept in mind what An Xi said and was planning on asking Chang later. "Let's talk about that later. The second guy, Mo Zichen asked me to dance afterwards and he kept touching my butt so big brother took care of him for me. Since he's gone, just help me change my dress."

"But why? You look so pretty in this one already." An Xi couldn't understand why Biming would want to change out of this gown until she saw the second one. "Wow, Ming. You're going to look amazing in this! C'mon! Let's get you changed!"

The second gown of the night was made out of premium red silk. Compared to the first dress, this one really outlined Xia Biming's figure. Her mother purposefully chose this dress to be worn second, since it would not have looked good to greet all the elders in. It was a spaghetti strapped dress with a cowl neckline. The dress was slim at the waist and loosened a bit at the hips and then flowed all the way down to her feet. This dress too, had a thigh-high slit. On many, it would have seemed too seductive, almost slutty. But the way Xia Biming pulled this dress off, it made her look like a royal queen out to find her king.

She kept the same accessories on, but changed her shoes to a black pair to help contrast the bright red. She made her way back down the stairs hand in hand with An Xi. The moment she was spotted, a plate was dropped, and everyone stared at her in silence.

Xue Changmin couldn't take his eyes off her. The way her hips swayed and showcased her toned legs to the way her busty chest kept bouncing with every step she took; he just could not look away. He was entranced by her. Now he knew why her brother was always so protective of her. She was just too sexy for her own good. Chang really liked her in this dress too, she was still the same elegant beauty, but now she gave off a different vibe. And he liked it.

The girls made their way to the head table and took their seat. Dinner was served and it was delicious! They started with a light creamy butternut squash soup. Then were served seared scallops on a bed of greens with eel sauce. The following dish was roasted Peking duck with an onion and cucumber salad. The final dish was served, and it was Cantonese style lobster with ginger and scallion sauce served on a bed of white rice.

All the food was just to Xia Biming's liking. She cleaned every single plate which astonished many guests. They didn't think a tiny girl like her could finish all that food. Even Xue Changmin was a little surprised. 'Well, I guess now I know where all the food goes if it doesn't go to her stomach.' He thought as he stole a glance at her chest then quickly looked away before he got caught.

After dinner was served, many of the elders retreated to the other room to play mahjong together. It had been too long since they got a free night to play carelessly. The youngsters made their way to the billiards room for some fun.
