Born and raised into a modest peasant class, Klymene, now in her 50s, is a figure everyone in town knows but few truly understand.
Klymene is married, but her interest is not romantic love, nor creating a family. Instead, her passion lies in the military structure, in the order and discipline it brings, and it is here that her darker side comes to the surface. Although his intelligence is slightly below average, his strategic skill and military knowledge are undeniable. She has a tactical mind, an eye for details that most people would ignore, and an iron determination that drives her against every obstacle in her path.
Her personality is an enigma. She is optimistic, always seeing the good in everything, even in the darkest situations. This optimism, however, hides its true nature. Klymene is a villain, not because of inherent evil, but because of her actions that defy social and moral norms. She believes that order can only be achieved through force, and that peace is the byproduct of a battle well fought. She is willing to do whatever it takes to bring that order to her city, even if it means becoming the villain in the story.
The Goddess Athena, the goddess of wisdom, war and strategy, is the patroness of Klymene. Although Klymene is not the smartest, she believes that true wisdom lies not in knowledge, but in the ability to see the true nature of things and act accordingly. She sees the goddess as her guide, believing that her plans for the city are the goddess's designs.
"The Shadow of Tegea" is a story of conflict, power and the complexity of good versus evil. It is a journey into the heart of a woman whose intentions, although they may seem malevolent, are driven by a desire for order and peace. It's a tale that questions whether the ends justify the means and whether a villain can truly be a hero in disguise.
