"R e D—D o o R"

"Hoo! I feel relieved," expressed Harris.

"How did you get here?" asked Endang, while supporting her impoverished brother.

"I just followed the bright light at the bottom of the lake," he answered.

It was evident from Harris's weak body that he was weakened due to the apparatus injected into him.

"I can't walk anymore, Endang," he pleaded.

"Just a moment. This is going to kill us. What am I going to do? I'm thinking of something, give me a moment. You stay here first," asked Endang.

It suddenly occurred to Endang that she might have obtained some liquid that could heal Harris, as she recalled the incident in the laboratory.

Endang sneaked around the spacious room. Along the way, she climbed several stairs.

"WHAT IS THIS PLACE?" exclaimed Endang.

Until she caught sight of the ball with a skull-shaped interior, emitting red energy that enveloped the entire space.

"🅱️ L A C K • S K U L L‼️"

Thereupon, she stared at it in astonishment… She was dazed!… She couldn't move…

"Endang!!! Where are you?" called Harris, who was obviously still weak.

Harris tried to locate his eldest sister, Endang, even though it was difficult for him to walk. He meandered around the room until he noticed the stairs hidden behind the books.

"Hey, Endang! What are you doing over there? Come here, and let's leave this place," whispered Harris.

He saw that Endang was no longer moving. He slowly climbed the stairs and tried to talk to his sister in a low voice, whispering to her.

But Endang didn't budge until he uncovered the glowing skull. He looked at it and stared until, eventually, he was stunned and frozen.

It was known throughout the empire that no one should enter this "Red Door." They were all feared and forbidden by the Queen for their safety. Only the Queen could enter this room.

From the cave where Dalal and Adroru resided, they entered a massive machinery area that powered the entire empire.

The three moved slowly as they walked, so as not to be noticed by the humanoid robot workers in the spacious room.

"What the heck is this smell?" asserted Wamaro.

"It's the only way to avoid being detected by them. So, just endure the smell," explained Dalal.

This tunnel is the passageway of the waste from gigantic machines. Due to the pungent smell inside, Adroru's pet scorpions couldn't stand it anymore, and some of them returned to the entrance of the cave they came from.

"Bw***h‼️ Ya***h‼️🤢🤮" vomited Adroru.

Both of them felt the same way; they were unable to stand the smell of the liquid coming out of the engine. They vomited. That's why they looked at their map to find a way out of that room.

"That way," Adroru pointed to a tiny door.

"Any ideas on how we will get inside?" asked Wamaro.

"Son, can you ask your pet to do the work?" Dalal suggested. She meant to ask the scorpion to make a move to distract the guards.

"I understand, Mom," replied Adroru. Then he talked to his scorpion about his plan.

They could only escape through one door, which was guarded by two large humanoid robots. They looked like two humanoid robots put together. Meanwhile, the humanoid robots were busy repelling scorpions that were crawling onto their bodies.

"Our plan didn't work," Dalal said.

"Wait, I think I can exploit this," stated Wamaro.

"What will you do? Don't go there, or else our plan will be unworkable," Dalal requested.

Wamaro thought of a way to get them out of their predicament. He created a small blaze with his index finger and threw it into a giant tank of boiling liquid.

"🫴PHEW🔥"

"🫴 PHEW"

Because of what he did, a massive plume of smoke came out of that tank. The hum of other machinery gradually grew louder, making the entire room even louder…

"Emergency!"

"Emergency!"

"Call the engineers and report what is happening here," announced one of the humanoid robots.

"Whoa! That's insane, Wamaro," expressed Adroru.

"Now we will have a chance to do it inside," responded Wamaro.

The humanoid robots were getting restless. There was also a white alarm, which meant there was a major engine malfunction.

It had six giant energy resource tanks connected throughout the empire. Each tank was as long as Captain Aleph's ship, but twice the size.

Since everyone was busy and anxious, some people and humanoid robots came to the rescue, and they went out the door where the two guards were standing.

"What is the worst smell?" exclaimed Wamaro.

"That's the result of you making a fire. The heat of the fire created an even more intense effect due to the chemical impurities in this room," explained Dalal.

"How do you know this stuff?" Wamaro asked, amazed.

"I used to study chemistry, but I didn't complete it owing to the fact that my parents were afraid of the apocalypse," answered Dalal.

"I want to go to school too. That's my dream," expressed Wamaro, glancing at the other side.

"Well, for now, let's save your siblings," Adroru told them.

The machinery emits a pungent odor, but they can't move due to heavy smoke and some humanoid robots around.

Consequently, Wamaro took a long time to evacuate that room, seeing their situation. He felt sorry for Adroru's condition, especially his breathing. For the first time, he felt like he had his first buddy who had a similar life experience as him.

Due to the heavy smoke, Wamaro opened fire again and threw the tanks one by one.

"TERROR ALERT LEVEL‼️"

"We need more engineers and technicians in the 3rd tank!" announced the humanoid robot.

"We also require assistance in the 6th tank." shouted one.

Humanoid robotics technicians can no longer resolve the malfunction. Some of it dissolves in the liquid circulating in the room.

It took over the whole room, and the rest overflowed from all the holes. The humans and humanoid robots who were still in the room were the first to evacuate.

"They're evacuating!" informed Adroru.

"Let's go then. They won't notice us because of this heavy smoke," spoke Wamaro.

"Okay, I got it," Dalal replied. Then she ran directly to the gate.

"Ahn-ahn, what's going on?" asked Jrazm, then tried to tap the dashboard.

"But check the entire area, there are no lights," added Tatukwe.

"Look, this place is like a metal city. Wow!" exclaimed Ahn-ahn.

Jrazm, Tatukwe, and Ahn-ahn wondered why there was a shutdown. However, due to the gleaming metals, they still reflected each other.

They sensed the uneasiness of the community there, whether human or humanoid robots. They heard the speculations and opinions of the crowd, speculating that enemies may have assaulted them.

"What is our plan, Jrazm? They know that we are here," worried Tatukwe.

"Act normal or else they will suspect us," responded Jrazm, then she pushed it a bit.

"But I guess they're good people and robots," told Ahn-ahn.

"I know that's why we need to hide or else we will be in trouble," reminded Jrazm.

Aside from that, they want to avoid getting caught by the residents here. Furthermore, they engage the crowd here at their assembly point, where everyone gathers, especially during this catastrophe.

Likewise, they got along and tried to hide their appearance so as not to be recognized.

"The Queen has an announcement," reported one humanoid robot.

"Look up at the light," Tatukwe pointed to the sky.

"That's a projector," responded Ahn-ahn.

"Mama, what's happening here? I'm scared," the child spoke.

"Don't worry, Anil. Everything will be okay. Our Queen is our savior," replied his mom.

A few minutes later, the Queen emerged, wearing her fancy red gown. Her entire aura shone because of her crystal crown and jewelry. Through the projectors, everyone could see the Queen on any of the light posts.

"HAIL, HOLY QUEEN!"

"HAIL THE QUEEN!"

"SAVE US, QUEEN KRIZZILDA!"

Every person and humanoid robot is calling out.

"STOP, EVERYONE! Listen!" screeched the guards.

"Perhaps you already have an idea of what is happening. Don't be frightened, the guarded palace is now searching for the reasons for this quagmire. Citizens of Munafik, do not worry, we will fix it!" delivered Queen Krizzilda.

She spoke to the people and clarified what was going on. According to her, she knows the objective and who the intruders are. In her projector ring, it revealed everyone who caused a commotion.

"Look at these intruders! I want them alive and brought inside the palace. Whoever can bring me each one of them, the palace will grant you some rewards," declared Queen Krizzilda.

Everyone witnessed what Wamaro did, including Dalal and Adroru. The Queen also implied what Endang and Harris did in the Fact-Finding Room.

Because of this, the Queen asked for everyone's assistance to search through the entire empire and bring the intruders to her alive so that they could be sentenced.

According to her, these intruders want to take the holy treasure, the Black Skull. She explains what will happen if it is lost in their empire—they will certainly fall.

"What the… Why are they always in trouble?" sighed Tatukwe.

"Did you see the black thing that she showed?" curious Ahn-ahn asked.

"That's ordinary. Don't mind it," Jrazm told them.

"Then why were they spooked, and thinking we came here to take that thing?" Ahn-ahn queried.

"Nah… Better we go now and search for them. Check the device, where are they now?" interrupted Tatukwe.

"Okay," agreed Ahn-ahn.

The three witnessed what was going on. Ahn-ahn couldn't explain it, but when she saw the Black Skull on the projector, she felt something extraordinary.

Her brain believed she had a connection with this substance. It only stopped when a humanoid robot gave her and their siblings a weapon.

"What… are you… doing?!" exclaimed one of them.

Thereafter, they also pretended to help chase the five alleged suspects.

***

"Wamaro, why is everyone chasing us?" asked Adroru.

"Just run and cover up," told Wamaro.

"Oh, the guards are following us!" screamed Dalal.

"RUNNING…" 🏃🏽‍♀️🏃🏻‍♂️🏃

They were chased by large guards. They entered many rooms before reaching a room that remained glowing red.

"R e d—D o o R"

"Come inside, Adroru!" muttered Dalal. They both entered the room.

They were stunned and interrupted their chase. Additionally, they walked slowly until Dalal couldn't breathe, and her eyes hurt because of the red surroundings. She was knocked down.

"What's the matter, Mom?" bothered Adroru.

"Help me, Wamaro," he asked.

They tried to help her lay on one side, but after a minute, she lost consciousness.

"Your mom will be okay, Adroru. She just fainted. We'll wait here until she's okay. Don't be distressed," spoke Wamaro.

"Alright, Wamaro," Adroru responded.

After a while…

"Hey, Dalal, what's happening to you?" whispered Wamaro.

"Mom!" Adroru whispered too. He restrained his mother because she was stumbling and seemed to be out of her mind.

Wamaro started to flare up; he was stunned by Dalal's posture. Dalal walked towards the stairs behind the books, as if hypnotized, and climbing the stairs independently.

The two stopped her until Wamaro caught sight of his siblings, Harris and Endang, also strutting there.

"HARRIS?!" "ENDANG?." Shocked, Wamaro exclaimed.

"Mom." called Adroru.

Eventually, Adroru veered around like them, staring and completely motionless. The four suddenly stepped aside and all stared at a Black Skull that emitted red energy.

"Hey, guys, what's wrong with all of you?"

"Is this because of that thing?"

"Hey, come on, we need to leave this place."

No matter how much Wamaro tried to rouse and wriggle, there was no reaction.

That's why he decided to ignore the Black Skull so that he wouldn't be like them, but he couldn't help himself and later on, he also stared at it.

(••• After Wamaro started at it •••)

Instantly, he remembered the catastrophe that had happened since he was a little kid, wherein he grew up without parents.

Wamaro also witnessed the suffering of humanity from the sorrows, misfortunes, crimes, and tragedies that occur in this world.

He further witnessed the death of various Ciboros, which made him extremely pained. It caused anguish that resulted in tears falling from his eyes.

"Huhuhu… "

Wamaro abruptly returned to his thoughts and noticed that the four were still mesmerized by this magical ball.

Even so, he discovered that he had a connection to it. He couldn't explain it, but in his mind, a magical voice was whispering to him. He was instructed to take a step that he could not comprehend.

Similarly, he struggled to carry them down the stairs one by one.

"How dare he enter my territory? Your blasphemers must be punished," shouted Queen Krizzilda.

"Sorry, Madam, we don't have any intentions of causing trouble here," apologized Wamaro. Then he laid Harris down, and he was still unconscious.

"👉🏻🅿️🅾️🅾️💨‼️"

"👉🏻🅿️🅾️🅾️💨‼️"

The Queen immediately used her power. She has the ability to extend her fingers that spew chemical mercury, and most of her enemies were killed instantly.

There is no cemetery in the Munafik Desert because all the citizens who have passed away have been completely transformed into humanoid robots by Queen Krizzilda.
