79 The warmth in her heart

Due to their mischievous act, Tristan grounded them from seeing their mother for a week. Even if they feel like protesting but they decided to be calm and patience since it's the only way their father would forgive them. It may sound harsh for other kids but they knew their father has soften the punishment. It was only due to their mother woke up and it made their father happy.

Today is the day their grounded was lifted. They woke up early in the morning and letting the nanny doll them up without a fuss. Hannah and Seraph were more excited than ever. Others have seen their mother. Including their cousins and have been taunting them during the grounded. They couldn't throw tantrum nor get angry but can only resolve by sulking in some corners of the bedroom. They would fall asleep there only to woke up in their own bed. For the whole week, they are like abandoned kids. No matter how they want to cry, no one bother to coax them. It turns out their father put out words not to indulge into their tantrums. Remembering the days they were grounded, they finally realize that their father can be so cruel. Putting those days away, they waited patiently in their room for someone to pick them up. No longer they would use their power like they did a week ago.

In the master bedroom, Tristan still unwilling to get up from the bed and keep clinging tightly onto his wife. Knowing that today is the day their twins would meet their mother made him become a koala bear. He's been hugging his wife the whole week and patiently letting her family to conquer her during the day. Now he had to share his wife with his twins is not something that he look forward.

Alicia chuckles softly as she watch how reluctant Tristan to let her meet their twin. She caressed the big baby head and planted a kiss on his head. It only made Tristan kissed her until she was breathless.

"Why are you being like this? You know you are a father now don't you?" She said softly after that deep kiss from him.

"If being a father is all about sharing you with the kids than i should have just take a precaution. Now i know the reason we were left alone by our parents back then. Kids are just like a big light bulb for them." Tristan said grudgingly. Alicia laugh.

"Stop that. I know you're happy with them around. Isn't that the proof that we love each other. That's our treasure. So, my dear hubby even if you present me a diamond mine it still can't compare with our treasure. It would be nice to add more." Alicia said merrily.

Tristan however feels horrified. The first few sentence was a good but adding more 'treasures', he hated it.

"We'll talk about adding a new treasure later. I still want to have you for myself for a long time." He snuggles deeply against her neck and nibble around her ear. Alicia laugh feeling ticklish and he smile seeing her happy.

"You know there's only you in my eyes." She coaxed.

"I don't believe that. I saw the look in your eyes when you put those two sulking brats in their bed every night." He pouted. He knew his wife is a soft person despite her strong image as Xero but with her kids, they are her world. He can see that. It's not he hated it but he still want his first place in her heart. Call him a selfish person, having someone that he love so much and accepting him despite his dark side he ends up being a possessive person.

Alicia change her position and straddle his body. Looking at him laying on their bed with his mouth pouting, she almost smile again. She didn't know that she would see this part of him. Holding his handsome face and planted multiple kiss on his face. Lastly she kissed him deeply on his lips. Once again, she was breathless by his kiss. With a swollen lips, she look seductive in his eye. Tristan can feel his body changing and the heat feels unbearable the moment she straddles him. Now, it just made it worse. He knows that she can feel it too when she grins.

"Even so, you are still my number one. The warmth of my heart." She smile seductively and intentionally rub against his hard place.

Tristan hissed before pushing her gently on the bed while he hovers her. She finally laugh and try to block his move by pressing both of her hand onto his chest.

"We have to see our kids. I don't want to keep them waiting anymore."

"What about me?" He brought her hand onto his place. Letting her feel the 'heat'. Her eyes sparkle like the stars in the night.

She whispers something in his ear. His eyes darken and one last time he torture her lips with his deep kiss before they finally got out of bed and meet their twins. Tonight, he will show her no mercy. That's his promise.

Alicia didn't know her husband is planning something tonight as her mind was anxious to meet her twins. Despite seeing them every night when they had fallen asleep it's not the same. Her heart broke seeing them fall asleep in the corner of the bedroom with tears at the corner of their eyes. She knows Tristan did it as a punishment and for them to reflect their behavior. How could she not know the ugliness of the world. If the people out there knows about their powers, it's impossible they will let them go. Trouble may arise from there. Just like her. Giving this kind of harsh punishment at such early age is the only solution. She knows her twins are intelligent but even so, they will cry when they feel sad. They are still babies in her eyes. The fact that she lost three months time through their growing period is still something that she regrets to this day. But it's still better than not seeing them at all.

Both of them finally got out from the room and headed straight to the twins room. Alicia was excited. Tristan feeling helpless seeing her like this. When they finally reach the room, Tristan open the door and Alicia finally see her twins. This time they are awake. Sitting at the bed obediently and stare at her the moment Tristan open the door. Before she could say another word, both of them start to get down from the bed on their own and with their wobbly walk, they rush towards her.

"Mommy." Seraph and Hannah cried out the moment they reach their mother. Alicia who was shocked seeing them walking, finally took both of them in her arms and hug them tightly. Without knowing, her tears start streaming from her eyes. Seraph and Hannah join her as well. Tristan's eyes soften as he knelt down and hugged them together in his wide arms. He kissed his wife's head and both of the twins as well. Something that he never do to the twins during his wife's slumber.

Seraph and Hannah were shocked but somehow understood. It's all because mother is here. Mother is awake and everything will be fine. Mother is their pillar and their father's heart.

"Why are you crying?" Tristan asked softly.

"They call me mommy. They can talk. And walk. Did you see that hubby? Our babies..." She sniffed. Unable to say another word as she kept hugging her twins in her arm.

"You're going to make them suffocate if you hold them that tight." He teased. Alicia quickly loosen her embrace but still unwilling to let both of them go. Tristan took hold her in his arm, while she still holding the twins in her arm and brought them to the bed instead of letting them sitting on the cold floor.

Just like that the twins are in their parent embrace crying their heart out. They never thought it would feel warm in their parent's embrace. It was as if all their grievance for the whole week are heal just like that. It's like magic.

"Mommy loves Seraph. Mommy loves Hannah as well." Alicia said to the both of them as she wipe their tears away. Kissing their faces endlessly making them giggle. How could she not know her own babies thinking. Even if she missed those three months but they were part of her and Tristan.

Seeing the harmony between them, Tristan smile. And he too follow Alicia teasing them. Things that he never do. Without Alicia, he won't know what to do. Now that he sees the happiness in their smile, automatically he end up doing the same thing although a little bit awkward.

Even Seraph and Hannah becomes surprised by their father warmness that he never show.

"Your daddy has always been a warmth person. But only for your mommy. He's my husband." Alicia told them in their confusion. Hearing that, the little bit of bitterness that Tristan felt when he saw Alicia kissing their twins all gone. He smile and shamelessly kissing his wife lips in front of their twins. Alicia slap his chest and glare at him. He just grinned like it was nothing. Glancing at Seraph and Hannah who starts looking unsatisfied.

"And your mommy is my wife." He teased them more.

Both of them start looking more grumpy and threaten to cry. Before the tears come out, they heard their father says more and they end up smiling.

Alicia on the other hand, start tearing up. Tristan as the one responsible pulled her into his arm along with their kids.

"And she's the warmth of our heart."
