THE RED MANSION [PART 1]

"Oh...hello Reichel, how are feeling now?"

Reichel opened her eyes and the first thing that she saw was a fair, tall lady standing beside her. She slowly tried to sit up on the bed she was lying on. Suddenly she felt huge pain throughout her body.

"Ahhhh...." She screamed in pain.

"Don't try to get up, your wounds are just recovering " The lady beside her said calmly.

Reichel lifted her head to see that she was wearing a huge white colored shirt. Her left leg was plastered from her thighs to heel and her left palm was wrapped up in band aids.

She looked up to the lady and asked in panic "W...what happened to me? Where is this place ? An.....d who are.."

"No need of panic, ok? I'll explain to you when you fully recover." The lady said interrupting her.

"I want to know" she said angrily.

"Fine. Tell me, do you remember anything that happened last night?" the lady asked.

"Why would I ask you if I remembered?" she said loosing all her patience.

"Ok..cool it.. I am Catherene but you can call me Cat and I also don't know what exactly happened to you. I just know that it was Red who brought you here."

"Red?" Raichel asked while rubbing her injured hand.

"He's just someone whose important to me....." she sighed.

"He called me last night to come over here. By the time I came, he left. I found you lying in his bed wearing his shirt" Cat slightly smiled and said.

'What ? Who's this guy and why am I wearing his shirt? Were are my cloths? And most importantly did he change my clothes?'

She looked towards Cat who had a smile in her face.

"What are you smiling at?" she asked

"I know exactly what you are thinking" Cat said still with that smile on her face.

"..."

"If I am not wrong, he won't do anything like that to an injured women. But I am sure he would have seen everything" Cat said in a naughty manner.

"Seen what?" she said so to hide her embarrassment.

" C'mon girl do I have to explain anything to you now ?" Cat said widening her smile .

"....."

Cat understood how embarrassed she was so she threw another topic for their conversation.

"So Reichel Hade. How is your work going nowadays. Heard that your boss fired you.? "Cat asked.

"Do you know me and who told you that I am fired?" Raichel asked surprisingly.

"Actually I have read all the books and journals that you have written . I must say they are very good." Cat said.

'So she is a fan? I guess'
