1 Chapter 1 : 3 Years in the making.

3 years pass as souls come and go, the gift has been passed on from principal to principal. the latest principal is about to wake.

Baronia stretches as he gets up from his bed high up in the tower that looks over the school, he leaps from the balcony doing multiple flips and lands in his usual crater he lands in every day.

Geron whom laid in wake jumps forward to grab him where he landed but Baronia steps aside and taps Geron on the back as he falls forward face first into the grass, ''PFFFT'' Geron spits out some grass as he lifts himself off the ground with his hands and knees. Baronia laughs putting a hand on his forehead leaning back, ''hahahahaha! you think not doing that stunt for a few months would make me drop my guard? you are too much man!'' as he staggers backwards.

Geron stands up lays his hand on Baronia's shoulder and joins on the laughter, ''well! after you so charmingly yelped in fear when i got you the first time how could i resist at least trying it again.'' both of them laugh for a bit as Horu floats towards them, ''your reflexes have improved, Baronia! what a fine morning to start the day with such a fun practice!''

''Horu! ever the floater with that cane of yours! i will force you to the ground one of these days!'' Baronia says while pointing at Horu with his index finger. ''you're welcome to try, lad! maybe Dorna can help you train your swiftness to be more efficient! since to me you're always too... *he zooms past both men* slow!''

as both turn around, Baronia jumps forward to catch Horu and with less than a centimeter left he zooms up and lands cane first on top of Baronia forcing him into the ground creating a second small crater next to the first. Geron erupts into even louder laughter than earlier, ''now it is you! who eats grass, Baronia!'' Horu chuckles. The principal spits out grass and dirt as he gets up lifting Horu up whom sits on his back, ''your looks are as deceiving as ever.''

students walking by laugh to themselves as they witness the goings on of their teachers and principal.

Baronia waves at the students as they wave back to him.

he gets up and wipes the dirt off of his overcoat, ''well thats a good warm up, you want to take this to the more open training field?'' he smirks at Horu.

''ooooh that sounds very delightful!'' Horu says, ''however i got a class to teach in collaboration with Dorna to display different types of speed. and you know how she HATES students being late, let alone me being late.'' Geron nods, ''yeah i should also get to my class, i've got 2 minutes until it starts and i havent even prepared proper weights yet!''

Baronia leans his head back as he ponders what class he himself will attend, ''i think ill join you, Horu. a collaborative lesson of types of speed sounds like a very good way of honing my lacking speed.'' ''please do!'' Horu says as they start moving towards the classroom waving Geron goodbye.

''so have you talked to Lavi at all, she's been getting increasingly more moody not having the Morax offspring obey her commands. she's sent at least 10 of those beasts back into the wild'' Horu remarks. Baronia shakes his head, ''i think she will come around with her whole plan of taking the gods gift from me. it was our previous principals wish for me to have it, no matter how hard i refused she would not take any suggestions from me regarding another candidate. Lavi was found to be too willing and potentially dangerous with such a grand blessing,'' ''i remember that much.'' Horu nods. ''but you must realize that having her be so blinded with envy towards you makes her a threat, right?'' Baronia looks down as he walks with a frown. ''lets not think about that right now! i want to see this lesson!'' he exclaims as he starts walking faster. Horu closes his eyes and shakes his head with disapproval as he speeds up his floating to catch up.
