1 Chapter one

"Kane here! We are going to the mountains! We are falling down! Swoosh, Crash, Bang!" I said playing with my toys. "Kane! Time to eat!" My mother yelled from in the kitchen. "Coming mommy!" I said and ran out my room and into the kitchen. I sat down and waited for my mom to bring my plate of mac and cheese. Yes I eat mac and cheese for dinner. "Here eat up" My mom said handing me my bowl. "Slow down there Kane!" My mother yelled. I slowed down and ate everything out of my bowl. Once I got done the front door opened. I jumped out of my chair and ran to the door and gave him a bear hug. "I thought you was never coming home dad!" I yelled. He chuckled. "Well, I'm home now, where is your mother?" He asked and I let him inside. "I'm in the kitchen Ray!" I heard my mom yell. I'm going to play!" I yelled back and ran to my room and went back to play with my armies.

About an hour or two my mother came in. "Its time for bed Kane" She said. "But-" I said then she cut me off. "No buts. Bed Now!" She said and changed into my night clothes and hopped into bed. "Mom can you tell me a bed time story?" I asked her and she nodded. "Sure" She said and tucked me into bed and told me a bedtime story.

BEDTIME STORY!

"There was once a very rich merchant, who had six children, three sons, and three daughters; being a man of sense, he spread no cost for their education, but gave them all kinds of masters.

His daughters were extremely beautiful, especially the youngest. When she was little everybody admired her, and called her "The little Beauty;" so that, as she grew up, she still went by the name of Beauty, which made her sisters very jealous." She finished the book and kissed me good night and left the room.
