Ring Ring.. the bell for the last period signals the end of the school day. Mr gravely, z's homeroom teacher says" okay everybody have a safe weekend and one more announcement before you leave, everybody's favorite social outcast turns 18 today" Mr g gives z a mischievous smile. He's always been someone z could talk to so he will forgive him for this. On his way out of class, The queen of the school zera comes up to him and says " hey z are you doing anything special for your birthday?" " no I don't have any plans , probably going to finish up some side work I've been doing for my neighbor, why do you ask " z asks oblivious. she replies " oh well then how about me and you go grab a bite to eat Saturday after you finish to celebrate " .. he's blown back by this.. "umm are you sure ?" he asks. " well of course, after this year we are all going in our separate directions and I've always wanted to get to know you. your birthday just happened to give me an icebreaker" she says with a smile that could kill.. Zane doesn't realize but he is actually overly handsome and extremely intelligent. he just assumes that his mother tells him this to make him feel better. "oh ok " he says shocked. " umm well then can I have your Holo-Note number so I can call you when I'm ready ?" she gives him her digits and then runs off with her friends.. People are snickering like did she really just ask him out holy shit I've been trying to get her number for months . He thinks she is just being friendly so he doesn't look to much into it and heads home .. When he gets home he knows his mom's still at work so he grabs the mail and the package off of the porch and heads inside to change. He looks at the package out of curiosity and it simply says to z from dad.. What the fuck ??!! his dad? this can't be right he thinks. Too many questions and emotios are going through his mind and he just puts it in his room for now and gets to work on his neighbors back porch he is building them .. A couple hours later he gets a text from zera saying " I'm really excited for tommorow , where do you want to go" he replies " what about that new burger stand on the lake" she replies "okay sounds fun, I'll were my swimsuit just in case you want to swim" and sends a winky face afterwards. He has no idea to reply so he just says "okay I'll be there around 7.. Later his mom gets home and hands him a set of keys and says "happy birthday son" Now Zane has gotten his regular dl and his motorcycle as well because he has always wanted a crotchrocket but is definitely not expecting something like that from his mom. " Mom what's this? I told you not to spend to much money on me* and then his heart drops when he turns over the key and it reads Ducati.. " no mom take this back I can't accept this" She laughs him off and says "don't worry it's far from new. I got it at an auction so it's need some body work and some tlc. I practically stole it" He begrudgingly accepts because he knows how stubborn she is and walks outside to see it. she already has it in the garage along with all the body parts he needs and a extensive mechanics tool set. . She knows her son loves to tinker so she had everything set up. " Thank you mom for real, I couldnt of had a better mother" "just promise me you will be careful on it ok?" "yes mother I promise" he says with a smile and she nods and walks back inside. He spends the rest of the night putting it together and decides to go take a nap as it it already 6 am . As he is sitting on his bed he remembers the package and decides to finally open it. all it has is a letter and a tiny gift box. The letter reads.

Son, I know you have many questions and I can't answer them right now but I want you to know everything I did was because I loved your mother and wanted to save her planet. Now I know this is going to be confusing but I am not from earth. Yes I am a humanoid but my race has a strange dna and we've been hunted to almost extinction because of it. I'll explain in more detail at a later point. but the reason for this message is to tell you that within two weeks earth will be invaded by a hostile race known as the ultarians. but since the higher power in this universe despises bloodshed they have came up with an alternative form of battle. it's almost like a video game if you will. but the catch is that if you do well or 'level up' then the god of universe 82 will bestow otherworldly powers into you. I'm only telling you this because I want you to be ready to defend your home. you will be selected among the 10000 residents of earth to participate in the war games. and if you lose they will destroy and enslave earth. God cannot interfere to such an extent but has created the wargames to give people a chance against the technologically superior ultarians. but if they win then it's over for earth. You are the only hope. because of my dna in you. you have become incredibly intelligent and extremely fit and also will receive one bonus because of this when the time comes.
