6 Chapter - 6 [ Task ]
After the training started for both Adam and Amanda, it's been five years. After reaching 18, Amelia, their older sister decided to enroll in an academy. In this world, one needs to be 18 or older, trained in magic or weapons, to enroll in an academy.
Amelia trained both sword and magic. She was a genius in her year as well. However being his family, they were too dramatic when the day of her departure came. His mother and father were crying a lot. While Amelia wasn't sad about her parents, she was sad about her little brother and little sister.
Before leaving Amelia said to both Adam and Amanda, "You are both 14 now. Train and become stronger so that your dear sister can be proud...!Also hold yourself back a little okay Amy..? You should protect her as well Addy!" She said and left them.
In just one year after her departure, the name of the house of Aldians was increased in fame once more. She being a genius, was proposed by the king to become a knight under royalty. But she refused saying she'd like to serve her family. The king accepted her wish. He only wanted a talent to be under his rule after all.
Upon reaching 15 , Adam and Amanda were notified about the 'Ceremony' to prove their adulthood. Adam was ordered to fight against one of the knights of Aldians or his teacher and do a task, while Amanda is told to show her brilliance to the crowd.

There was a loud sound of sword clanging and explosions in the training ground of Aldians. There was a man with Grey hair and black eyes. It was Blake. He was breathing heavily after fighting his opponent.
Against him was a young man with Silver hair and closed eyes. He opened his purple eyes slowly and flashed towards Blake in a second. Blake who saw this blocked his attack and began the counterattack.
"Sword Aura..!"
Blake cried out. His sword was covered by a grey aura which is the mix of his Magic and Sword Intent. After covering itself, the sword glowed before he moved zigzag as if to confuse his enemy.
Seeing through his attack, the young man closed his eyes before concentrating. Seeing that this was a chance, Blake attacked from a weak point.
Clang...!
But still closing his eyes the young man stopped the sword. Blake jumped back seeing this. He then brandished his sword in a circular motion before pointing it towards the young man and shouting,
"Ascending Thrust..!"
The sword in his hands moved forward with a maximum momentum towards the young man. He stood still. But just as the sword was about to reach him, he said,
"Counter..!"
Hearing this, Blake's face changed. He wanted to change the direction of the attack. But he was too close. As the sword was about to touch the young man, before even a second had passed, an outside spectator could see Blake being pushed back by the same momentum. The momentum pushed him back so much.
As he stopped before trying to counterattack again, he sensed a sword touching his neck. Dropping the sword on his hands Blake showed his surrender by raising his two hands and saying,
"I lost.."
There was a cry of the large crowd. They were amazed by the strength of the young man. Some of the young men in the street showed dissatisfied and envious faces, while some others showed defeat.
The female population was in even more turmoil. Seeing a handsome young man fighting against a swords master was not something you see everyday. Some of the young women were calling out to him, while showing blushing faces.
"Addy..!" But all of their smiles froze as they felt an intense killing intent from this voice. The young man, Adam Aves Aldians, who heard the sweet voice calling out to him, smiled before catching the running projectile to his embrace. Snuggling close to him and sniffing him like a pervert was his twin sister, Amanda Aves Aldians.
Seeing the happy siblings, Blake smiled before saying, "You've become stronger Adam. To think I will lose to a kid of 15 years...! I am ashamed..! Hahahaha...!" The older cold and emotionless Blake was nowhere as he was laughing like an old man.
"If you say so, then I am even more ashamed because my son surpassed me in terms of Magic. I mean I am an Advanced Rank mage you know..?! Or is it that it is easy to become one these days...!?"
Andrea was even more frustrated. Not because he became stronger. But because she can't protect him anymore. He doesn't need her protection anymore. Her baby grew all up.
"Ha..ha..ha.." Blake could only laugh awkwardly. Then Adam heard his Father's words, "Adam Aves Aldians, winning this duel, proving to be an adult I congratulate you. However you still have something to do. I will notify you of that later"
He bowed and nodded. After his and Amanda's Magic test and show, they were both accepted. But Adam has to prove himself using actions as well.
"Now I announce this ceremony ended!"

His father was a Master Knight Rank and his mother an Advanced Rank Magister. In reality the mages are ranked using the amount of Magic they can use. In that case, Adam is not included in this ranking. After all his Magic is still not visible. It only means one thing, either he doesn't have Magic Or He has Magic higher than Magister King class. Since he can use magic, then the second option is the correct answer. So to increase his rank, he only has to learn to control this power well. But he will not show himself if not needed. He too needed some Trump cards after all.

- LOCK - ON (RANK : PLANET) : Allows the user to lock onto the enemies and make sure the attack is impacted no matter what.

He nodded in satisfaction. He created some of the Skills and even sword techniques. Now it was time for him to prove himself. He walked towards his father's office. Upon reaching the place, the maid waiting outside bowed before asking Arthur for the permission to let Adam in. After receiving the permission, she opened the door and bowed before saying,
"Please.."
He without replying to the maid let himself in. There he saw his father reading a document. Sensing his son's arrival, Arthur closed his eyes before looking straight at Adam's eyes.
"I've decided your task. Seeing that you are stronger than one of the brilliant Knights of our kingdom and your mother, I've decided to make it a little hard."
Adam still didn't say anything. He was okay with it. He wanted to check and experiment with different things as well after all.
"Your task is to kill something."

He looked at Arthur as if he was waiting for him to continue. "Your target is not a human. It's actually a little dangerous. Do you still want to go..?"
He wasn't trying to discourage his son. He wanted him to grow. But he was testing to see if he was thinking correctly or not.
He looked deep into his eyes to see any kind of emotions, like fear or courage. To his surprise, Adam didn't show any kind of emotion. He was just waiting for as if he heard nothing even though it is related to his life. Arthur nodded with a smile before saying,
"Your target is a Werewolf!"
"..." The room was silent. Adam began thinking. He does have an advantage because of the light element and his knowledge from his previous world. But he doesn't know if it will work the same way in this world.
"Werewolf is an Arch Knight level threat at the most. Only their clan leader, who is supposed to be a special individual has the ability to surpass that level. You have experience in fighting against this level of fighters. But a werewolf is different. It has a lot of advantages compared to humans. I won't say anything else. You have to find its weakness and everything else yourself. It is actually attacking one of our neighboring villages. So you will set out in two days. I need an answer, victory or defeat, in a Week of time. So if you can't defeat it, just return safely."
"Understood. I shall do it successfully."
"You may go now."
Adam left his father's office with eyes full of determination while Arthur smiled seeing this.
