Chapter 11

Time passed, and the seasons changed, a whole year had passed since Dian took over Luo's body.

Dian was getting used to the simple life of a villager, spending most of his days in the fields, farming.

Dian slowly came to terms with the fact that he died and had been basically reborn, Dian also grew to accept his new identity as Luo, and was ready to live his entire life at the farms, marrying a village girl and creating a family of his own, as was Dian's true goal in his original world, Dian only wanted to live a happy life together with his family.

Of course, some habits of Dian didn't change, and he continued training his body regularly every day, slowly achieving a physique similar to that of a mid grade Private rank Martial Artist from Garia, his home planet.

Back in Garia, Dian began training in Martial Arts, and hunting Wild Beasts when he was 11 because of the death of his father, Derrick Dom, at the hands of a level 3 Wild Beast.

Dian become a registered Hunter at the age of 16. Dian fought and killed many Wild Beasts since then to provide for his mother and little sister, until his death at the age of 21.

Almost ironically, both the father and the son died at the hands of a level 3 Wild Beast.

Luo's relationship with his step siblings was originally not a bad one, but it was also far from being close.

The source of this disconnect, was from Luo's personality, growing up in the orphanage, Luo learned to shut himself off from others, a personality trait had its ups and down.

Ever since Dian took over, he began interacting more with his new family, as Dian enjoyed his new life, and saw it as a great opportunity.

Dian treasured his new family, Dian didn't want to sever his connection with his new family right after losing his connection with his original family.

Dian saw no reason to become a hunter again in this new world, as the main reason he did so previously, was to provide for himself and his family, and to become strong enough to protect them and himself. As there was no threat like the Wild Beast that Dian knew of in this new world, apart from some unconfirmed legends and rumours, he believed it was better for him to provide for himself and his family by farming and raising cattle.

That was until, after a little more than a year and a half since replacing Luo, While Dian was happily chatting with some of the villagers at the village market, a scream rang out from the direction of the village's entrance.

"What's happening?!" said a villager, Dian spoke to.

"I don't know"

Soon after, a shout rang out from that same direction, "A big wolf entered the village! It's terrifyingly strong! Help us!"

Dian immediately ran toward the shop owned by the village blacksmith and his apprentices, immediately, Dian grabbed the best looking sword he could find, unfortunately, they didn't make daggers or short swords. "I'll pay for it later!" he said before rushing over in the direction of the village entrance before even hearing the seller's response.
