The Wandering of the Dragon God

I had one wish to God: "To be Reincarnated in one of my Favorite Anime Worlds, Mushoku Tensei." What I did not expect is that I did not reincarnate as Rudeus, nor Paul, or even Eris's brother or even a sister. Not even Laplace. But a certain Dragon God by the name of Orsted. Or an even younger Orsted....? But, you know I COULD'VE just wished for something else other than that stupid waste of a wish so I started to try earning power in the best way possible also known as "simple" training. ..... Man, my curses suck ass too. Damnit father. Well, at least I can probably use them to their fullest potential with the right time and effort..... not! I currently don't have the weak mana regenenration that might last for 100 years, so I have most of the boons before they are wasted. Now, Hitogami..... let me take over your place! [ Rewritten ] Notice: Emotional Rollercoaster ahead.... probably Proceed with caution and don't make excuses that you didn't get warned. ( Caution: slow updates) Update: No Harem

Step 2.2: Lovestruck

[ ~ Chapter • Start ~ ]

In the beach in the remote island they were living in, Hilde wandered around the warm sand in barefoot, glancing at the vast seas.

She wasn't dreaming anymore. This is reality, being with the boy, no, man who was supposed to be younger than her years ago.

Because in this island, there were only her, Hans, Perugius (the legend from 400 years ago, who's actually still alive), his familiars, and Buddy, the Red Dragon.

As much as shocking as that sounded, she really couldn't believe that the legendary Perugius are blood-related.

They even looked similar, yet there was a feeling they weren't really cousins or nephews.

But that doesn't matter now! All that matters is that she's with Hans!

Right?

Her longing feelings for him began to switch to a lovestruck one, and it definitely should last for as long as they are both alive and together.

With hands on her back, she feels as if her past tragedies were beginning to be forgotten, shoved into the past and replaced by her expectations of the future.

Expectations about birthing children they wanted, expanding the bloodline of two noble bloodlines, where it didn't matter that she was kicked out of her family, as long as she carried their blood.

She was too lost in her thoughts that she did not notice Hans walking up behind her.

The dragon god, with a light, mischievous smirk, raised his thumb and then immediately struck a certain point on her neck with it.

"Eek!"

After that squeak from her, she suddenly began to uncontrollably laugh, clutching her stomach and curling down the sand below, she immediately glared at Hans.

"Hans...! Hehehehe.... You .... Why did you... do that!? Is that how.... you treat this fair.... maiden!?"

"Why not? >:)"

Flabbergasted, the former noble began to hold off the laughter forced upon her by the idiot, Hans until she the laughter was gone.

She coughed out the sand that got to her mouth, and after catching her breath and standing up to try hitting Hans's head with her

Yet, she was evaded very easily.

"What? Did you think I'll just stand here and let myself get hit?"

Hans spoke with a wink, and as if resisting the taunt, Hilde sighed roughly as she shook her head.

He's seriously far beyond her own league at this moment, and due to it she was completely underclassed.

".... Hmph! Don't do this in public, you'll stain my pride in embarrassment!"

She had rebuked with as much wits as she could, crossing her arms under her chest, pouting.

This guy.... he's kinda childish, honestly.

Still, there was a smile on her face, knowing there was still one person who cares for her. There was a certain determination and hope inside the girl's heart, as she held his hands tightly.

"Hans, what if I told you I want to take back my family name? And to do that, I would happily become their villain, for obvious reasons!"

She spoke without hiding her real emotions, which was definitely of anger and the urge to seek vengeance. Her experiences months ago didn't break such a girl for she is someone who would soon be feared.

"Really? You want to seek vengeance for the reason that you were betrayed?"

Well, that got her hopes down, yet for some reason.... why was he smiling?

"Why? Aren't you still too weak?"

Hilde scratched her neck, glancing around her to look for something that would distract her.

"I know, Hans. That's what I've always been thinking of. But now, perhaps Perugius may help?"

As if listening to her, the old dragon in human skin suddenly appeared beside them.

"Hans kept refusing my proposals of allowing me to teach him, so I've had no other choice. This vengeance you seek is just, therefore you will be learning from me for a year."

Hans had to cringe for a mere moment, thinking about what he would do while he spends more time in this island with them.

The Dragon God was beginning to get hungry for adventure, after all.

Perugius, looking at the boy's expressions couldn't help but chuckle in amusement.

"Don't worry, boy. You can come visit my fortress to see her progress and be my guest if you so wish." Perugius spoke, lending him a key that had magical properties on it. "Use it on any door."

"Thanks, but it's not yet the time for me to leave. I still have to pack my stuff, and I'd still like to stay here for a week."

Author's Commentary: While I don't really feel like writing this fanfiction, I had to try my best. 😅

{ ??? }

In a room inside a certain mansion, one young redhead with golden eyes stared at the portraits of her grandparents, Elfrieda Boreas Greyrat Andersen and Hans Dola Andersen Oersted (mouthful, the author knows).

They were literal legendary figures, as both of them had done so many good deeds and bad deeds around the world. Even though the former outweighed the latter.

There were various stories made by playwrights and novelists inspired by their journey. Of course he is painted as the hero or villain that really does do his job perfectly.

But now, as she was staring at their portraits, wondering where they are (since her mother told her that they're still alive and well), someone, a young boy with the same golden eyes like her groped her shoulder, bringing her out of her thoughts.

He said that they still had lessons from their hired teachers to undertake.

So, being sensible about it, she immediately walked with him in orderly fashion.

Even so, Rudeus has aldo been staring at the portraits with slight embarrassment, as if remembering something from his past life.

[ OMAKE 2 ]

"Ah, she's gone. Good."

The Man God spoke in relief, relishing in it as he, for now had spared Hilda's former family.

Now that nobody has the ability to hinder his plans, he didn't mind resting in the ground of the white void, even for a long while (2 years max, 5 months min).

For now, there's nothing he could do but let the mortals do what they like, just before he begins to manipulate the people there to cause enough chaos he would enjoy whilst he finds the proper person that would be able to free him from the seal placed onto him by the First Dragon God.

What about destroying the Gol DeSilva Alliance and turning it into the so called "Strife Zone" earlier than it should have? That's possibly better than nothing right?
