CHAPTER 6

"Time for another journey again. I've already written about today's adventure in my journal. And Alexia gave me food, clothes, and shoes. Hehe! I'm happy." I giggled to myself.

While walking and giggling in the street, I didn't notice someone was watching me.

"Hey! You looked happy." A man popped out from nowhere wearing all black and said to me,

"Am I that obvious?" I asked.

"Yes! If you laugh like that. It could put you in danger." He stated,

I wondered why it was dangerous; I looked at him and tilted my head and asked him, "Why is it so dangerous? Is it not allowed here to laugh?"

"Hahaha! See? You're very attractive, which is why it's dangerous; someone could kidnap you."He said...

"Why do they have to kidnap me when all I'm doing is laughing because I'm happy?"

"Because you are attractive. You can easily get the attention of people."

"So, what should I do to avoid a kidnapping? Should I cover my entire body?"

"Hahaha! Are you from another planet? Is it your first time outside?" He's laughing.

"Yes! No!" I answered.

"Hahaha! Which one, yes or no?" He's making a joke about me.

"I mean, I'm not from another planet, but I recently out of the orphanage. I only stayed inside the orphanage. And when Sebatian asked me to go out with him for groceries. I could go out only that time. And I had only been wandering around for three days.

The man shocked and stops laughing.

"So you mean, you didn't know where you were heading?" He asked.

"Yes!" I responded to him with a smile and excitement about my next destination.

It stunned the man when I smiled at him purely.

"Beautiful!" he exclaimed in hushed tones.

"Yes?" I asked him to repeat what he said.

Suddenly he stops questioning and keeps silence and pinned his eyes at me. He is still following me.

"May I ask where you are heading?" I inquired about him.

He just looked at me and asked, "How about you? How did you become a wanderer?

"I'm looking for someone who needs my help."

"Whaaaat? You are really weird. Walking around is extremely dangerous, especially for a girl. You have guts, you know." According to him,

"Thank you!" And I smiled.

"Hey, I didn't compliment you. It's a warning!" He hinted.

"I know. I get what you mean. But I can't help people if I'm a coward." I stated.

"Arrgghh! "I'm at a loss for words. "He's enraged.

"In any case, thank you for your concern; I really appreciate it." I said.

"Jin Bryant."

"Hmmm?" I wonder what he was saying.

My name is Jin Bryant, I say.

"Mikaella, my name is Mikaella." I replied.

"Only Mikaella? He asked.

"Mikaella, nice to meet you, I have to go." He hurriedly walked away.

He vanished quickly, as if he was looking for someone.

Jin spotted his target, so he walked away from Mikaella. He is an assassin.

I rushed to the screen and looked at what had happened. The man was already dead. I can't recover him anymore.

I turned back after seeing the screen, since I couldn't heal the man. I continued on my journey.

I had no idea where I was going until I arrived in the forest late at night.

"Why did I come here? I was walking without thinking about how my feet had led me here."

"What's that sound? A wild animal?" I mumbled and trembling..

I searched for a spot to hide and saw something ahead of me.

"What is that?"

I want to go there, but I'm scared.

"Hello! Is someone there?" Due to the presence of wild animals, I called while controlling my voice.

When I got close to him, I noticed a man and was surprised to find out who he was.

"Jin! Why do you have wounds all over your body?" What happened to you?" My voice was trembling.

"That is not important now. Let me heal you first. You had a lot of blood loss. Let's talk later.

He touched my face and said, "I'm happy I met you. Maybe this is my last chance to see your beautiful face. You look like an angel from heaven falling down on me. "Mikaella, don't forget about me when I'm gone." He stated while moaning in pain.

I was confused about what he was talking about. And I started healing him and said, "Stop talking, save your energy."

It took aback Jin when he realized he had been completely healed.

"Mikaella, who are you? How come you can do that?"

"Because, I'm an angel falling from heaven? Hehehe!" I joked with him.

"Hey! Forget what I said to you, I didn't know you could heal people." His face turned bright red as he spoke.

"Anyway, let's go. It's very dangerous in here."

"Where are we going?" I asked.

"My house's near here." He responded.

We went to his house. His house is also quite large. All the people that I meet are all rich.

"Feel free, Mikaella. Nobody stays here, only me."

"You don't have maids?"

"I don't need them since I am always out for work."

"What is your work, Jin?"

"It's a secret! You're not afraid of me, Mikaella?" Jin asked, since he was an assassin.

I nodded to him and went to the kitchen.

"Wow! There is a lot of food to prepare. What should I cook today? Because Jin has lost a lot of blood, I'll prepare nutritious food for him." I whispered.
