CHAPTER 10
When I looked at Mr. Evans's face, it appeared as if he was pleading with me to help him. I looked at Jin as well and Jin shook his head to give me a sign to decline Mr. Evans's request. Mr. Evans asked Jin, "What do you mean by shaking your head, Jin? How could Mikaella help me? What do you know about her that I didn't know? Who is really Mikaella, anyway? Why are you stopping her from helping me?" Mr. Evans interrogated Jin. I took a look at both of them. And I remembered Jin told me they were best friends. To stop them from arguing, I talked to Jin. "Jin, my purpose in my life and the reason I wander around is to help people who are suffering from their illnesses. I can't stand seeing people who are sad and depressed because they have no other options. From the start, before I wandered around, I was aware of my safety. It might be dangerous for me sometimes, but I am very pleased to help them. Please understand, Jin. I don't want you both to fight each other because of this." Jin lost his grip on Mikaella's hand and he agreed with me. I told Mr. Evans to bring me to Dianne's room to heal her.
"Thank you, Mikaella, but I was wondering how you would heal Dianne's eyes." Mr. Evans asked. And I told him, I'm going touch her eyes only. Mr. Evans was confused by what I had said.
Before entering Dianne's room, I requested that no one else be allowed inside except us. Mr. Evans nodded with a questionable expression.
"Everyone out!" Mr. Evans ordered his maids to leave the room. After the maids left us, Dianne asked what had happened and why Mr. Evans had to dismiss all the maids from her room. "Anyway, why are you here with me, babe? "I'm surprised you're paying attention to me now." According to Dianne. "I came here with Mikaella." Mr. Evans explained. Then Dianne shouted. "Why the hell is that woman here!?" It enraged Dianne when she heard Mikaella's name. She argued with Mr. Evans as if he was cheating behind her back. "What are you getting worked up about? What the hell are you talking about? Stop accusing me. Jin is here as well. Stop talking nonsense!" Mr. Evans yelled at Dianne. While they are arguing, I hide behind Jin's back. Jin asked me if I was OK, and I responded to him, "I am fine."
"I'm sorry, babe, I won't do that anymore. "I have faith in you." Dianne apologized to Mr. Evans and held Mr. Evans's hands. Then Mr. Evans explained the reason he brought me to her. Dianne doubted how I was going to heal her, since I was not a doctor. Mr. Evans told her that he, too, had no idea how I could heal her. Mr. Evans summoned me to come closer to them after their conversation and persuasion of Dianne.
When I touched Dianne, her face frowned. "I'm sorry, may I touch you?" When she frowned at my touch, I asked for her permission. She didn't answer me and she ignored me. I continued touching her eyes to heal her. After a minute of healing her, she opened her eyes. It overjoyed her when her sight came back again. She pushed me and hurriedly rushed to Mr. Evans to hug him. It flopped me on the floor as Dianne pushed me. Jin rushed over to help me stand up. "Babe, I can finally see your handsome face." According to Dianne, Jin was getting furious at Dianne. "Dianne! Why did you pushed, Mikaella!? After she healed you, show some gratitude towards her!" Jin screamed.
"So what if I shoved her? What gratitude are you talking about? Just give her the money for what she's done to me! And send her out of the house! We settled everything, right? With one brow raised, Dianne said. Jin was fuming about Dianne's words. "No! We can't send Jin and Mikaella out; they'll stay here until I finish settling with my adversary. Mikaella became their target, as well. I need to keep them safe, both Mikaella and Jin!" Mr. Evans abruptly spoke up to Dianne.
"Good! Excellent! Who is she anyway? She isn't even one of our acquaintances or friends. We don't know her!" Dianne shouted as well. Jin and I were watching them while arguing about me. From my point of view, it's better to leave here to stop causing trouble for them.
"We have finished our business with you now and stop being a spoiled brat. This place is not your property! If you don't want them to stay here, go back to your family now. It's very convenient for me now that your eyes are healed!" Mr. Evans hinted at it. "What? Are you going to get rid of me right now? You still need my assistance in obtaining your power! "You'll have to choose between me and them." Dianne started throwing things inside her room. "Get rid of you? Do you think I don't know what you have been doing behind my back? Do you treat me like an idiot? Dianne, you better stop talking nonsense before I lose my patience with you. Or you will be sorry if you disagree with my decision. You know that I mostly hate people who always oppose me! "You know where they all end up, don't you?" Dianne was trembling in fear of Mr. Evans's statement. And it was my first time seeing Mr. Evans's face so scary. It looked like he was going to kill Dianne at anytime if she spoke another word to him. I was shaking while watching him. I can't believe the rumors about Mr. Evans, a bloodthirsty man, were true. Because he always comes to help me when I am in danger. But now I have witnessed it and I'm shaking with fear. I think that I can't make him angry and if I make a mistake, he could kill me immediately, in an instant, in my point of view. After Mr. Evans talked to Dianne, we walked out of Dianne's room to go back to our own room. While whining inside her room, she shouted Mr. Evans's name. "Blake Evans!!!" But Mr. Evans ignored her. When I heard Mr. Evans' full name, I was taken aback. It reminds me of a boy I met at an orphanage.
