Chapter 54 Carly

John pulled his rifle off his back, before he looked through the scope and looked at the house in the distance. Looking through the scope John didn't see any movement at all, he scanned the area and saw a small generator, but it didn't seem to be on currently. John then put his rifle on his back, before he jumped the fence, he didn't touch it at all, just in case.

John ran over to the house sneakily and saw three walkers in front of the house. John walked behind them and picked each of them quickly, killing them before they could even turn around. John then went through the front door and looked around the downstairs. He walked into the dining room and saw a big feast of rotten food on the table. John then checked all the rooms downstairs.

All the rooms were empty, so John climbed up the stairs and began to look around. Walking into a study room, everything looked normal, until John looked to the left. He saw a dead body hanging on a meat hook, its leg and arm had been cut off. John walked over to it and the stench of rotting flesh was clear.

John then walked around the rest of the room searching for any living, if there were any, John would kill them without hesitation. It looked like the people living here were cannibals, they were eating human flesh. John didn't find anyone here, so he walked out of the house after setting it on fire.

John walked over to the barn and on the way, John saw a dead man who had been electrocuted. John passed by the corpse without any reaction, he looked at the barn and then he walked inside. Walking through the barn at the end of the barn John saw a door. John went inside and saw a dead old man inside; the room was full of butchering tools and there were some rotting body parts on some counters.

John then walked out of the room, he walked back outside and saw that the fence had been run over by a large vehicle on the other side of the farm. John ran over that way and looked around the area. John saw that there were some more tracks going into the distance, seeing this John summoned a dirt bike and began to follow the tracks. The tracks led John to another road and John continued to follow the tracks for a while, before they faded to nothing.

Seeing this John continued to drive down the road. Whenever he saw a turn, he would just go straight. John saw something up ahead and slowed down. When he arrived next to it, he saw that it was a body, it was a female. John hopped off his bike and turned it off. Then he observed the woods around him, he didn't see anyone.

John walked over to the body after seeing the coast was clear. John crouched down and flipped over the body gently. He looked at the face and saw a beautiful face, with exquisite features. John remembered seeing her in the walking dead game, it was Carly. This Carly however looked different, her hair was a light brown, but it looked a little blonde under the sun and her hair slightly curly. She looked just like Giorgia Whigham.

John saw that the top of her head had a bleeding wound on it. John pulled a med kit out of his bag, then he opened it. He took out a suture kit and stitched her wound closed. Then he applied a bandage over the wound, John looked at her again and saw that she was very pale.

John summoned a blood bag, it was O Negative blood, the universal blood type. John then placed the needle into the Carly's arm. When the bag had been emptied, John took the needle out of her arm and place apiece of gauze and tape over her arm to stop any bleeding. John looked at her face and saw that she was not as pale anymore, her skin had regained flush, and her breathing was steadier.

John then picked her up and got on his bike, John positioned her in front of him on the seat, with her facing towards him. John then rode down the road slowly, holding her close to him, making sure she wouldn't fall. John continued for an hour before he saw a building on the side of the road.

John stopped in front of it and left his bike there, after turning it off. John then carried the unconscious Carly towards the entrance. John had his Glock in his hand, and he was ready for any walkers. Arriving in front of the door, John kicked it down, making some noise. Three walkers came shambling towards the entrance, but John pulled his trigger 3 times, and they were on the ground.

John then looked around and saw that the building was a little rest area. John carried Carly over to a couch and lay her down softly before he covered her in a soft blanket. John then searched the rest of the small building for any walkers, but it was empty. John seeing this walked back to Carly and saw her sleeping peacefully still.

John walked over to the bodies and carried them out of the building, he threw them onto the ground out front before he closed the door and blocked it with a heavy cabinet so no walkers could get inside. John then walked over to a nice recliner chair and sat down. Then he put his feet up and watched Carly closely.

Getting bored, John summoned a Mp3 player and played some Rock music. John continued to watch Carly, and, in the morning, John saw her begin to squirm. John walked over to her and shook her shoulder lightly as he crouched down in front of her.

Carly opened her eyes slowly, her head wad throbbing in pain and her face showed this by scrunching up. John seeing this thought it was kind of cute, Carly then looked around and saw an unfamiliar ceiling. She looked around, but focused on John, her face immediately showed panic. She calmed down a little as she looked at John's handsome face, she then looked at John waiting for him to speak.

John looked at her for a second before he said, "Hello, I'm John."

Carly looked at John cautiously before she said, "Hi John, I'm Carly. Why am I here?"

John smiled at her and said, "I found you wounded on the side of the road and brought you with me. What happened to you?"

Carly thought for a second before she decided to trust John for now. She said, "I was with a group of people, we were running from bandits and cannibals. A woman with them shot me because she thought I was working with the bandits."

John asked, "Were you?"

Carly was upset and she said, "No, I loved that group."

John smiled and said, "That's good. Do you want to go and find them?"

Carly nodded before she said, "Of course, I have to make sure they are okay." She then looked around for a second before she said, "Do you live here? It is kind of empty if you do."

John said, "No, I don't live here. I brought you here after driving down the road for a while with you."

Carly looked happy and asked, "Why don't you come with me? We could look out for each other."

John nodded and said, "Sure, but I have a group. They are far away from here, but you could come back with me, after we find them."

Carly was surprised and said, "You have a group. How many are there?"

John said, "Umm, last I checked we had around a 170 people, give or take some."

Carly was completely shocked, she said, "Wow. Are you serious?" Carly was so excited that she almost fell off the couch, John caught her gently.

John smiled at her and said, "Yeah, it is practically paradise compared to out here." Carly looked at John as he said this and was quite embarrassed that she had almost fallen onto John.

Carly then scrunched her face as she felt some pain in her head, John who was next to her noticed this and said, "Are you feeling pain? I have some medicine if you need."

Carly said, "Yeah, my head hurts a lot. I forgot about it, but I guess the shock made me remember. I would appreciate it, John."

John nodded as he stood up and walked over to the recliner, grabbing his pack he looked inside. After searching for a while, John pulled out a bottle of pain killers and some water. John then walked over to her and handed her the medicine and water, saying, "Here, these should help with the pain."

Carly received the water and pills from John, before she said sweetly, "Thank you! John." She then took the medicine and drank the water. She finished the whole bottle as she was very parched.

Seeing her finish all the water John asked, "Are you still thirsty? I have some more water if you'd like. Also, I have some food. Are you hungry?"

Carly hearing this nodded and said, "Yes, please." John then walked over walked over to his pack and dug around some before he pulled out some water and Granola bars. John then walked over to Carly and handed her the water and some of the granola bars. John then sat beside her, and they began to eat in a comfortable silence.
