Rescue

After 1 week from the spread of the virus, me and my family were in the house. I always kept my dog Bruno in the basement, because he can barke any time. But the thing is that he is also a retired army dog so, he will not make huge mistakes. After getting radio there were many news broadcast. Many were like, army has secured the refugees who were heading towards New Jersey, And many times president came live and spoke.

I was trying to see if anyone is broadcasting any news.

" Many people living in New York City are still stuck in their homes, but now I am sending a rescue force with doctors in an stadium. Who ever is able to reach the stadium have to take all important things with them and, the people who can not reach the stadium has to reach on a high building were army can see them through their helicopter. Stay alive, We are coming to save you" Said president on a radio channel.

I ran down to tell this news to my family. Sophia was too much happy. Serena asked," should we get to the stadium or on a roof of a building?" I answered, " We should reach the stadium because it is very less chance that a helicopter see us when we are on a roof of a building."

Serena took Sophia with her and started to pack her bag, on the other side I was with my dog in the basement collecting all my important stuffs like flares, torch, binoculars, and gun and it's ammo. I got in the kitchen and got the food and water. Everyone was ready to move, but we have to wait till night because darkness is a advantage against infected people.

"It is 2:00 am, we should move now" , I said.

I opened the door and move ahead. My family was coming slowly so that if infected people saw us we will be able to run back. There was no electric supply in New York. We got the chance to get to the main street, we ran towards it. I saw many survivor moving silently on the road. I saw a man infront of me, who was trying to start a car. I ran towards him and said silently, " hey, hey-y man don't try to start the car it will make noise and will attract thoes infected people". He was looking scared and was not listening to me. I just ran back and took my family far away from him.

I saw back, as he started the car all the infected people sprinted towards the noise and started to kill him, bite him or were trying to eat his brain, I was not understanding. The incident happened to the man was again and again coming in front of my eyes. It was 4 am and we crossed half of our journey, if it was more safe around the street we would have reached stadium till now. Sun was rising. We were crossing Teleiotis lab, there were two people eaten completely. There was some movement in side the corridor which was visible from outside. I took out my gun and aim on the gate.

"Hands up", Said Simon.

Simon and George both were aiming each other.

"Who are you" asked George.

"We are commanders trained by Teleiotis organization. my name is Simon and this is my team Marcus, Mark, and Corner" Simon introduced.

"My name is George and this is my family. My wife Serena and my daughter Sophia." Said George.

" But what were you doing inside? " asked George.

Simon started to explain while walking with them to stadium, "We were called here a week ago, when we reached something was wrong over here, no one was here. A zombie bit our friend Shepherd, in 13 seconds he turned into a zombie. The same should not happen to us so we were needed to kill him. There is a programmed computer who controls the whole building. It opened all the zombies in the city and locked us in the building. Somehow we are able to get out from this building."

" You want to say virus has started from here?" asked George.

"Yes, it has started from here " answered Simon.

When we were walking together a zombie attacked, Corner shot him causing other zombies to get attracked towards us. We started to run and Simon and his team started to shot and move - shot and move. Suddenly a zombie jumped, and got shot on his bullet. I saw on a building a American sniper. everyone started to run towards the stadium. Sniper was shooting each and every zombie. I saw behind and gave him a thumbs up, he saw me. Many zombies came from behind the sniper and eat him and jumped from the terrace. They were in hundreds. They must be in the building and heard the noise of shooting.

We entered the stadium, there were many helicopter landing and taking off. All the soldiers saw the infected hord coming towards them. In hurry they started to push people back and started to take some people in the helicopter. Every where was just chaos. I and my family got inside the line and sat in the helicopter. It was very scary veiw, all the survivors were trying to get in the helicopter and zombies were coming from behind. Many soldiers were dying.

Helicopter took off.
