THE MAN DETECTIVE KELLY or whatever gestured to a man who was not in uniform but the same height, he had large lips and a mouth that looked like it was made for swallowing pies whole. 

"Nice to meet you," Mr. Cole inclined his head as if Shiloh were a woman.

"Yes...I am."

"Do you mind if we ask you a few questions?" Mr. Cole asked, well, he practically demanded leaving no room for argument.

"Y-yeah, sure umm, just let me tell my boss that I am going on a break." Shiloh scurried off into the staff room and told Mr. Harrison what was going on, a feeling of dread filled his entire body as he walked back out of the room and saw the two police officers sitting at a booth waiting for him. Squaring his shoulders, he marched towards the booth and sat down right across from them ready to get this over with.
