The Promise I

Leo : "She lies alot that's why I don't make friends with people like her, because she disgust me."

Michael : "Well I like her."

Kelvin : "For real Michael?"

Michael : " Yeah for real guys, just take a look at that girl she's so amazing. I feel happy being around her so guys don't talk ill about her, because you don't know her and you also know nothing about her."

Leo : " O my God kelvin! Micheal is going insane for a girl who doesn't match his class."

Kelvin : " Dude are you blind can't you hear what leo is actually telling you she's a bloody liar! For God sake man."

Micheal: "Guys come on, I know what I'm saying. I'm not blind at all. Alright? Leo said Anna is a liar right? So tell us what happened between the both of you, and why do you hate Anna so much. I need an accurate answer please."

Leo: "Alright then, I'll tell you guys what actually happened between Anna and I okay?"

Micheal: "yes, I want to know Leo."

Kelvin: "Me too, I want to know what happened between the both of you."

Michael: "Because am so confused man."

Leo: "Anna and I were childhood friends back in the day, when I was still living with my parents before they got divorced. My mom left with me to live with her mom in the United States, and when I came back, I went back to where I used to live before and found out that my dad already left and  I couldn't find Anna too. The whole thing got me mad and I wondered where  they could be."

Michael: "So are you trying to tell us that you and Anna were childhood friends?"

Leo: "Yes Michael."

Kelvin: "Wow this world is a small place man!"

Michael: "Yeah it is Kelvin."

Michael: "So tell us, what happened next when you couldn't find your dad and Anna?"

Leo: "Hmm.... I didn't stop looking and everyday I prayed I could find my childhood friend, It wasn't easy though, because I missed her so much guys!"

Kelvin: "Hmm... This was really tough for you man."

Leo: "Yes I know dude."

Leo: "So my mom suggested I start school here since my grandma was being a bitch to us. We had no choice but to come back as soon as possible. Starting a new life again was not a bad idea to me and my mom."

Kelvin: "Yeah that's true."

Leo: "My mom was discussing with her friend about enrolling me in a school close by, but the lady suggested my mom should enroll me in a nice school at the neighborhood she stayed before moving to her new house."

Michael: "Hmmm...."

Leo: "My mom took her friend's advise and enrolled me in the school, and that's how I met you guys and we became best friends."

Michael: "Wow!!! This is beautiful."

Leo: "hahahaha yes it's really beautiful, I have no regrets having you both as my best friends."

Kelvin: "Man we're really grateful to have you too."

Michael: "Leo so tell us what happened next with Anna."

Leo: "Oh sorry guys I got carried away i  apologize. One day I was on my way to get a pen then I saw Anna talking to a girl. so I stopped to be sure if I wasn't mistaking her for someone else. Then when I got so close to her, I called her by her name; Anna and guess what she said."

Michael: "What?"

Kelvin: "Leo what did she say am curious to know dude."

Leo: "Hmmm.... She said do I know you? Then I got confused and was about to get upset, but I held my self back. Then I said Anna how have you been, it's me, Leo. I have been looking for you for a very long time and we are both in the same school what a coincidence right!"

Anna: "Are you kidding me you call this a coincidence? wow you are indeed funny leo? alright I can remember you some how but I don't think we know each other. and the Leo I know died a long time ago, so please next time don't call my name again. I hate guys like you with no manners."

Kelvin: "What!! Are you serious Leo you mean she said all these hurtful things to you."

Michael: "That was mean of her."

Leo: "And that was how Anna and I became stranger's to each other."

Michael: "Just like that?"

Leo: "Yeah just like that guys."

Kelvin: "So was that why you hate her and called her a liar!"

Leo: "Yes Kelvin that's the reason because she never kept her promise."

Michael: "Promise?

Leo: "Yes promise."

Kelvin: "So you are trying to tell us that she made you a promise back then."

Leo: "Yes."

Michael: "Then what's the promise about leo."

Kelvin: "Yes tell us we want to know  everything."

Leo: "Okay!... Anna and I were both playing hide and seek, when I fell on the floor. Well it was really bad though but I kept my pride not to show Anna how hurt I was. Anna felt bad for me, seeing my right leg bleeding so bad got her so scared that she burst into tears. then she made a promise that no matter what she's never going to leave me. At that time I was so excited then I made mine too, promising not to leave her no matter what."

Michael: "But you did Leo."

Kelvin: "What do you mean Michael!"

Leo: "Michael how? I never broke my promise to Anna so I don't understand what you meant by 'but you did' which is confusing."

Michael: "Yes leo. I don't expect you to be confused, because you actually left that poor girl even when you made her a promise not to, but you still did. you said you are never going to leave remember, and your parents got a divorce and you chose to go with your mom instead of your dad. If you stayed with your Dad, you could have kept that promise you made to her. but you still left her, so what do you expect from a girl you left behind. Put yourself in Anna's shoes, will you still talk to her if she was the one that left the same way you did? Please I need us to be clear with each other here, will you?"

Kelvin: "Wow.... Something interesting is about to happen here. Well Leo I will tell you the truth you fucked up man. You can't promise someone then break the promise and you expect that person to be  happy, things dont work that way. I'm telling you because I know."

Leo: "But guys!!"

Michael: "Nope! no buts! because we are both telling you the truth, if we keep calling each other best Friends we should always tell each other facts because that's all we need to keep each other growing or am I wrong Kelvin?"

Kelvin: "No Michael you are absolutely correct and that's why you are my favorite hahahaha."

Leo: "Guys I don't get it.  are you both picking sides because of Anna? She's a girl!"

Michael: "No!!!!! For God sake why would we pick Anna's side. Look dude we are just telling you how we see it from our own point of view come on man!"

Kelvin: "We are best friends, and we will always have your back, but not in the wrong way okay? do you understand now?"

Leo: "No I still don't understand why."

Michael: "Why what exactly?"

Leo: "Why I'm at fault? My parents got divorced and I was just a kid then, what should I have done? I had no choice!"
