4 CHAPTER 04

A/N: Changed Technokinesis to Technopathy

========================

"Keep the robots and Ultron away from the key." I said through the comms, alerting all the Avengers of what they should look out for.

~Worse case scenario?~ Stark asked.

"We're standing on Ultron's meteor. He touches this thing and the city flies."

~There could be worst ways to go~

"Not with the amount of magnetically supercharged Vibranium under the city. One wrong move and its another extinction level event. But this time it won't be the dinosaurs." Saying my piece, I flew towards Ultron who groaned in a very upsetting lifelike manner.

He fired off a few laser blasts to throw me off but I dodged them and fell into the ground, phasing through it only to blindside him with the cleanest uppercut anyone has ever seen.

While Ultron sailed through the air, I had to stop my chase to destroy the few bots that were making their way toward the cathedral.

I dissected one from top to bottom with a laser beam from the Mind Stone while the others were crushed to smithereens.

~Guys, junior wasn't lying. One button push and the city flies. A few hundred kilometers and it'll level Sokovia. Over ten thousand and the continent will sink like the Ice Age~

Stark's affirmation was all they needed to move like possessed zombies, making their way back and circling a perimeter around the cathedral.

~Clint, you and the Maximoff twins should focus on evacuating as many people as you can. Thor, Stark and I will focus on the perimeter break, while Vision will draw Ultron… Where's Nat and Bruce?~

Hearing the captain, they all got to work, not questioning the man because he was just that rizz.

Unlike the movies, the city didn't lift off which meant we currently had an army of Ultron-controlled robots making their way towards us.

"Let's take them to church, shall we?"

BOOOM!

I broke the sound barrier pretty easily while phasing through and destroying over a dozen robots before getting to Ultron.

He magnetically pulled in a car and flung it towards me but I just phased through it and head-butted him, throwing him off his balance and followed it up with a 10 tons punch that wrecked his inner circuits.

"Leave me ALONE!" A lot of robots started firing sporadically, putting the civilians in their crosshairs which forced the human members of the Avengers to take cover, while Ultron took the chance to clear a considerable distance from me.

[Tony Stark POV]

Seeing the fully sentient android he had wanted for Jarvis to inhabit, Tony couldn't help but feel a little irritated.

Vision, as he called himself, was strong. He pummeled his way literally through any robot that were in his sights with maximum efficiency that it looked somehow pitiful.

One thing he was thankful for was that the overpowered robot was on their side and had also helped them in locking Ultron away from the internet.

"It's a bit worrying, you know?" He heard Steve say.

"What is?"

"The fact that Ultron could have had that and more." Steve's tone had an edge to it which told Tony that he hadn't forgotten his mistake yet. It was just too apparent at this point.

"Well, what can I say? I'm just one lucky guy."

RARGHHHH!

The roar of the green beast alerted them of the new arrival who had already begun rampaging through the city, tearing apart any robot that wasn't red and gold.

Tony took to the air, giving him a high enough vantage point for the ensuing chaos.

[Boss, there are a few people trapped near the bridge]

"Well, like junior said, time to earn a pay."

Flaring his thrusters, he took off towards the highlighted location while performing tight air maneuvers to throw off and destroy the robots who impeded his way.

[Vision POV]

'Mark all the robots with the slightest static in them, and alert me if any makes an attempt to flee the city."

[Task generated

> Prevent any robot from escaping the city perimeters

Status: Ongoing]

A lot of red dots came alive on the mini HUD at a small corner of my vision, and with it I could tell what place had the highest amount of congestion and was in dire need of a trimming.

The area around the cathedral was a trigger zone and would immediately blare an alarm to me if one of them got dangerously close enough.

Not surprisingly, Iron man was engaged in a family feud with Ultron and the two of them were currently duking out their frustrations with the other while I made my way towards a congested area.

I landed near Barton, the latter trading only a glance with me before he took a direction and left the others for me.

I ran a few calculations in my head and with a little help from the Mind Stone, I charged up my hands with yellow electricity and blasted it towards the group of incoming robots, frying their circuits as they dropped dead.

"Nice trick." Barton sounded impressed but that was it as he made his way to another location. I was about doing the same when I sensed someone hiding in a house, human.

I moved towards the house and opened the door only to stifle a sigh as I saw a scared Wanda.

'Surprisingly, this isn't cliché.'

"Let me guess, stage fright? I heard it's a common thing among humans." I said in a bid to lighten the atmosphere which worked, at least I think it did, since her heart beat did slow down a bit.

"No one will blame or criticize you if you decide to sit this one out. Someone as innocent as you shouldn't have a place in a warzone."

A few alerts blared to life indicating that a few robots were trying to leave the city but it looks like Thor was on them.

"If you'll excuse me..." I turned around intending to leave but I heard something that made me smile a bit.

"I'm not innocent." Her voice was low but I heard it clearly.

I gave a half-look, "No one is," before taking off to keep the heat off Thor's back… or not. Seems like he's more capable than I thought.
