The Reserved and the Reckless

I sat in the living room of my apartment and watched TV whilst enjoying a bowl of chips. I looked at my phone and Ruby kept me updated on what was going on so far. I continued to enjoy my evening shows and eating my snack until I heard a knock on my door.

I paused the TV and set the bowls down then sighed and got up. The door knocked again. "Yeah I'm coming!" I opened the door and noticed it was Valerie, holding her daughter in her arms.

"M-Mmph.." She looked embarrassed and didn't even look me in the eyes like someone who was guilty of doing something.

"What's the matter, Valerie?" I asked.

"O-Oh uhm...can you by chance unlock my door? I forgot my keys inside.." Valerie said with an embarrassed look on her face.

I crossed my arms and looked at her. "How did you manage that?"

"W-Well I kinda just forgot. I was running late and I didn't even think about grabbing my apartment keys." She answered.

Just by this interaction alone, I could tell she was a forgetful person on top of being shy, gullible, and having a soft demeanor.

"Alright, let me go grab mine from my room." I said.

"Thank you." She looked at me with a smile.

I walked off and headed to my room to grab my keys off the nightstand. I walked back to Valerie and she led me to her apartment. I used the spare keys to her apartment to unlock the door. "There you go."

"Thank you, Mr. Owens." Valerie smiled.

"Just call me Ray. No need to be formal with me." I said.

"Okay...R-Ray." she smiled at me then walked into her apartment. She turned around to look at me. "If you want...you can come in and have dinner with me."

"Mmm...why not. I'm already here." I said.

Valerie smiled and let me inside then closed the door. "I'll whip up something really quick and put the baby to sleep. Okay?"

"Yeah." I nodded.

"You can sit on the couch and make yourself at home." Valerie said then walked to the back to put her daughter to sleep.

I walked over to the couch and sat down. I looked around the place. It had baby toys on the floor and a few opened boxes from Amazon and other delivery companies. Valerie seemed to be going through an online shopping addiction while still tending to her child and working at her job. I wonder how a woman like her can be single. She's incredibly beautiful and seems like a real keeper.

"Sorry about the wait. My daughter was being a little difficult." Valerie said as she walked into the living room.

"What's her name?" I asked.

"Mars." Valerie smiled.

"Lemme guess, you picked it out?" I asked.

She nodded and held her hands togerher in front of her. "I thought it was a cute name so I picked it out. My ex-husband wanted to name her something basic like Natalie or Karen. My baby will not be basic!"

I smiled at Valerie and could help but think about how cute she was. "You're pretty cute when you're like this."

Valerie blushed and looked at me. "Y-You think I'm cute?"

"Well honestly I believe you're beautiful. A woman like you...I find impossible that you're single." I said.

Valerie was even more flustered. "Wh-What are you talking about? I-I uh- I'm gonna make dinner!" She hurried off to the kitchen. She's always been complimented before in the past after she divorced her husband, but she's never been genuinely complimented before.

I watched as she quickly made something simple and easy. She grunted as something caught on fire and she began panicking. I stood up quickly and hurried over to the kitchen. I quickly put the fire out and she sighed in relief. I looked at her then smiled then heard Mars crying. She hurried to the room and I followed her. I stood in the hall and leaned against the wall with my arms crossed.

Valerie was an amazing mother from what I watched. She held Mars in her arms and rocked her until she fell back sound asleep. Valerie put Mars back into her crib and stood up. She looked at me then walked out of the room. She closed the door and softly sighed.

"Must be tough doing everything alone.." I said.

"Sometimes." Valerie smiled at me.

"I see. Maybe I could help you take care of her. Y'know, babysit her if you need me to." I said.

"No no, I don't want to trouble you. After all the others will need your help also eventually as you are the property manager and the landlord." Valerie said.

"Come on. My father kept this place pretty well off. I doubt I'm gonna get called on that much." I responded. "Besides...you look like you could use the extra help. You work and have to come home, cook and clean. The least I could do is provide some form of help."

Valerie blushed a bit and held her arm then looked down. "I don't know...No man has ever went out of their way to offer help. When I used to go out and date, the fact I had a child was a major turn off for them."

"It's not for me..." I said and noticed her look at me.

"Ray..." She started. She smiled softly and looked down. "Are you sure you don't mind me having a child..?"

"Why would I? A child shouldn't depict if you're worthy of the time or not. You're a beautiful woman and a great mother. All I'm seeing is a perfect ten." I flirted a bit.

Valerie covered her face and her squeals were muffled. "Stop it! You're making me blush so much!"

I chuckled and walked off after feeling my phone buzzing. "I gotta answer this. I'll see you around."

"O-Okay.." She said.

I left her apartment and answered the call. "Ray Owens speaking."

"Landlord! I have an issue!" Meredith said on the phone.

"What's the issue?" I asked.

"My shower!" Meredith squeaked.

"I'll be there." I said then hung up.

I hurried over to Meredith's apartment and used my spare keys to open the door. I greeted Sylvia and headed to the bathroom to see what was wrong with Meredith's shower.

I knocked on the door. "Meredith, I'm here to fix your shower."

"You can come in, just close the door behind you! I don't want any water leaking through!" Meredith said.

I opened the door and walked into the bathroom then closed the door. I noticed some water on the ground. I looked ahead and noticed Meredith peeking from behind the curtains. "Are you naked..?"

"Y-Yeah..." Meredith said and looked at me.

"Hm..." I said and nodded. "What seems to be the issue with your shower?"

"W-Well...the water won't stop." Meredith said.

I walked ahead and made sure to not look at her. I noticed the water was still spraying and noticed the ring on the shower head was loose. I simply tightened the ring once again and the water stopped.

"Thank you." Meredith smiled at me.

"No problem." I said and turned around then she grabbed my arm gently. It took all of my holy strength to not turn around because she was still naked.

"You can look, I'm not going to do anything." Meredith said.

I gulped subtly and blushed. "I don't wanna...y'know.." I tried my hardest to remain cool and collected. It was a shift from very wholesome to something very lewd.

"I just want to talk to you. I don't want Sylvia listening in and I won't have the time to talk to you by the time I leave the bathroom because you'll be busy with someone else." Meredith said.

I closed my eyes and exhaled softly. I opened my eyes and turned around then did my hardest to keep my eyes at her face. As much as I wanted to admire this MILF's body, I needed to keep things under control.

Meredith smiled at me and glided her hand up my arm then held my cheek. "Come on, I know you want to look. You can even feel them if you want."

I got a tingling sensation around my entire body. Once again my holy patience was being tested. "Maybe...another day. I have to respond to like three more requests so...Uhm..."

I had to fumble this bag because I was just not mentally prepared for what this MILF had in store. I did not feel worthy enough to enjoy this vixen's body. Yes, she's 100% a vixen. I only classify Meredith as a vixen out of all the women I met because she seems to be the deadliest and isn't afraid to take a chance to exhibit her sexual desires. Valerie isn't a vixen because she seems more reserved and conservative when it comes to sex.

"Mmm alright..~ Next time I'll just toy with the sink..~" Meredith winked at me.

She purposely messed with the shower just so I could go into the bathroom while she was naked. The woman Nozumi described did not match what I was experiencing in front of me. She's playfully alright, but also a mischievous woman. She doesn't seem easy to trick at all but instead does the tricking.

"Yeah please don't do that.." I said and cleared my throat. "If you don't need anything else, I'll be on my way."

"Mmm...alright. I guess I'll have to play with you later..~" She giggled softly.

I swiftly left the bathroom and had my back against the door. I felt my crotch was bulging. It felt like the bulge was going to break through the zipper. I calmed my nerves and walked down the hall.

"Is mom okay?" Sylvia asked as she looked at me from the living room.

"Yeah she's fine. I'll catch you later." I said and she waved at me.

I left their apartment and decided to go to the main building to clear my head. I entered the building and headed to the main office. I walked into the office and noticed Alison sitting against a desk and looking at the paper work.

"You're still down here?" I asked.

Alison looked at me and smiled. "Yeah, just reading a couple of complaints. I didn't know it was this hectic in the Basic Complex. These complaints seem unreal and made up."

"Let's hear some." I said.

"Old man yelling "Suck my dick" at the top of his lungs down the hall." Alison said. "Oh and this one, 'I think I see Slenderman standing in my hallway. I'm moving out, this shit is haunted.'"

I crossed my arms and chuckled a bit. "The hell is going on in the Basic Complex..? That doesn't even sound remotely real."

"I know. I've been running up and down stairs, riding up and down elevators answering to these nonsensical complaints." Alison said.

"Sounds like you had a rough day." I smiled. "You can go home, I'll handle the rest for the night."

"Are you sure?" Alison asked.

"Yeah." I smiled.

Alison nodded then handed me the papers. "Thank you. Good luck. People are crazy."

"I don't need luck." I said.

"Okay." She said in a mocking voice and giggled. "Good night."

"Good night." I said then read some of the complaints and walked out of the office to go resolve these issues.
