1 I Became that Tyrant

"Hey, Lee Bong-Cha! Have you heard?"

"The Fandom says that if you vote for your favorite book and you pray for your favorite character's happiness you'll reincarnate into them in your next life!"

"Really? I don't exactly believe in that nonsense."I said laughing, of course, that was a lie, after I ended our call I started praying to be reincarnated into the life of the female lead as an extra in the story and living life without worry having all those men surround me would be surreal. 

The book she comes from is a novel that is now popular and is in trending lists, it's name is, "The lady with a white mask," it's about a country bumpkin who lives her life as the daughter of a count named Marielise Blanchet and blah blah blah she ends up with the male lead who's the crown prince and lives happily ever after the end. My favorite character was the Villain at some point while reading it, but then it was directed towards the Female lead since he got killed like that Evil Tyrantess. Bleh.

"Sigh...I really would want to live the life of a country bumpkin and not have to worry about such things as rumors and kidnappings." I sighed and headed back out to my house walking silently down the streets of Gangnam for a family meeting that was called on that day.

[Why like something bad will happen today? wait-! it must be one of those times where-] I turned quickly only to realize that there was someone following me. I walked faster and faster but their footsteps were heavy and quick. [like a man's! it must be a man! I have to be careful. I can lose him on the next curve there's a garage nearby owned by a family I am familiar with! I'll try to distract him as though I'm drunk...I hope this works! if not I'll die!]

I walked faster towards the street alley but the person caught up to me and pulled me from behind pushing me onto the floor, I was scared, scared that he would do something to me. I was shaking uncontrollably but, took advantage of this and pulled the mask off to find the face of my fiancee, the man that I was to marry, I wasn't in love with him or anything but I'd thought that we could get along.

"Now that you know my face, I'll have to get rid of you," he said with a malicious smile, I kept shaking in place and tried to escape by grabbing my phone but it didn't work I remembered I had my watch and called out to Siri, "H-hey S-Siri! call emergencies-" I yelled but he walked over and stepped on my watch and was unable to call the police. [agh darn it! what was the use for Siri in a situation like this then!? CURSE YOU SIRI!!] I yelled as I clenched my fists, but that didn't make me any braver to confront the man in front of me.

He smirked and a knife was taken out from behind his jacket, I started to cry out of fear and he soon stabbed me near the chest, I felt my heart getting slower, my fingers couldn't move any longer, and my body felt cold, like I used to feel when I was reprimanded and alone. I gave up for once in my life, I gave up on something that would probably get me cursed by my family and my friends being disappointed in me. I was Weak in my last moments, So will I still be loved either way? All I wanted ever since I was a child was to be loved, is it wrong to at least want a bit of love?

The male's eyes widened in shock and averted his eyes from her now dead body and walked away.

"This was for your own good, Bong-Cha."

I lived in a rich Household and everyone was always busy, So my parents were "kind" and said, "Bong-Cha, your name is like that because you're supposed to be strong. We named you like that because when you were born you didn't cry, for a moment we thought you were dead," The Woman said as she caressed her daughter's hair lovingly, looking at her daughter's hands like chubby little marshmallows almost edible, "But you woke up and opened your eyes it was a miracle and even the Nurses couldn't believe it." She gushed, I was alarmed by those news, I would listen to my mother speak and with just her voice I'd fall asleep.

"Bong-Cha, You have to take charge and show who's boss, We love you and will always be there for you." She smiled and kissed her forehead softly, as the child felt this extremely happy feeling in her heart, at that moment she thought, [I'll protect my parents and my entire family even if it costs me my life. As long as I can gain their favor and love, I'll do anything!]

"Bong-Cha, I know you're frustrated, I mean who wouldn't be? But, try to understand our situation as well."

"Father, I would never think such a way. I understand Mother doesn't like Useless people as am I, So I would never be angry with her." The child stated as she lowered her head and her value to please them more day by day. They looked down on her even more after her sister's birth, She didn't hate her sister, but she just didn't like how useless she'd become.

"Look! Look! Unnie! I made a flower Crown just for you!"

"Eun-Seo, Those aren't flowers they're weeds!" The child exclaimed, She sighed helplessly as she looked at her sister in disgust, [Why does mother still keep her around? She should have her tutored so she doesn't bring shame to the family.] The child thought as she helped her innocent and naive sister fix what was right from wrong.

"I don't want to hear you anymore! All you do is correct me! you're not perfect so stop trying to perfect me!" The little girl yelled, I was alarmed when she said that, I looked down with my eyes wide open in shock. [I'm not perfect? if I have flaws then I should fix them! Mother will be angry if she finds out I have a flaw!] I thought and sighed as I walked towards Eun-seo, my younger sister.

"Eun-Seo, What Flaws have you seen in me?" I glowered, she trembled like a tiny rabbit in my hands and gulped, I could hear her rapid heartbeat, my eyes and ears were sharp because I knew how to control my soul and mind. 

I looked at her and my gaze faltered as I remembered my mother's words, "Bong-Cha, Never Hesitate in front of your enemy. No matter what happens."

[Well I guess I failed you, Mother]

"Where am I? I guess I'm already dead considering how warm it is here. I think it'd be best if I stayed dead, that way I wouldn't be cold anymore." I smiled happily, I flew around in the white space I was in, it was as if I had gone to outer space, "now this is da life~" I sang, I pranced and jumped around with glee until a voice interrupted my new found joy. 

"Oh my~ Having fun already? Well, that's good. You'll soon be back to an extremely chaotic life." I froze in my current spot as I saw their face I flinched, "You!" The child smiled at me and scratched his head nervously as they do in those dramas when they've done something wrong.

"Thank you for ending my life!~ you don't know how happy I am! I would've married you!"

"Would you still marry me?"

"Nope," I replied smiling brightly, the child laughed and their body showed, their chubby features, his face looked so astonishing and alluring, it was almost adorable! Such a short and cute creature! He looks like he's in Kindergarden!!!

"Aww-"

"Shut up before I slap your stupid face." The little child's eyes pierced through my soul and I faltered and nodded nervously agreeing to his statement, [Who knew kindergardeners would be so violent? But he's still so cute even when he's angry!!! Ack!] I clutched my heart dramatically I could almost hear the sound effects go: Doki Doki!~

"Ahem! As I was saying, You'll be going back to life~" The child said, I gave him a dissatisfied look, [You do realize I just died and wish to stay like that right?] I gave him an annoyed look, [Seriously?]

"Tsk, You wouldn't know that...Hmm...Lee Bong-Cha?"

"Yes?~" I replied earnestly, I want to squeeze those cute chubby cheeks they look so bouncy and edible, I would just bite them off his face!!! His cute round blue eyes and his clean shiny face, he looks like an angel!!! His height was incomparable to mine he was probably 3 feet or less but it was adorable I could die happily now because of one cute expression.

You probably don't know this but, I was a huge fan of novels and anime back then! This is extremely cliche but I'm gonna demand impossible things from this adorable deity so I can stay here forever with him for the rest of my existence!! I would never get tired of those adorable cheeks!!! Squeeee!!!

"I am Laos, and you HUMAN shall be reincarnated into another life, with prosperity and wealth,"

"What? Should I demand things from you now?"

"Does it seem like I can do that?" He clicked his tongue indisatisfaction and averted his eyes from me, I thought for a few seconds, [What if I ask for my phone? No that's too cliche, then what should I ask for? AH! Right! I'll ask for the impossible!]

He shrugged it off and said, "Too bad that won't be the case, don't think that you can ask for something impossible to get away from this. Let's meet again...Your Highness."

Suddenly I started to fade away and watched as the God waved at me, with a smile on his face, I reached out but I was already gone by then.

I was distracted by his cute cheeks they looked like edible marshmallows.] I looked around only to find a large luxurious room, everything was so expensive! [This would be my two lifetime's worth of salary!!!] I thought anxiously, I saw a mirror across the leather sofa next to my bed, I got out of the bed and realized I looked a lot like someone I remember.

"This can't be! I'll get murdered again! and by the female lead!! Marielise!!" I looked at my features and My body looked so thin, [Hm this must be around the time Annalisa became--]

"Your Highness, The Chancellor is searching for you in the meeting room."

[There's a meeting room? wait-- I still need to change I'll have to process all this later! right now is what's important!] I ordered the maid to search me some clothes and shoes. She looked somewhat terrified. I sighed and ordered her to hand them to me, "I'll do it."

"B-But! Your Highness!"

"No buts! I'll do it. You can go and prepare me some tea for the meeting." I stated and wore a simple dress with fancy rose designs, Marielise wore daisies unlike Annalisa in the novel. Daisies are usually bright and positive, and roses have thorns even thought they're extremely beautiful. I sighed and slipped my heels on and walked on the marble floor all the way to the door.

"I just have to fix this and figure out what to do before I get killed. This is so troublesome, why did Laos have to bring me to the castle? AND into the life of a TYRANT?! She's so thin and weak right now. Ugh..." I groaned and opened the door, Thus commences my new life!
