The Villainess?

How did I get here? The last thing I remember was falling asleep after finishing the book: Trials Of Love. How did I become the villainess Camilla who has the same name as me? **************** Our female lead, Camilla used to be a very extrovert person who had many friends and was socially liked by everyone. However, after her parent's death, she was assigned to live with her Uncle and Aunt. Over time she slowly distances herself from her friends as she believes that she doesn't deserve happiness. She thought that she was the reason her parents died. Back then her parents died in a car accident when they were speeding toward the hospital where she was kept. On that very eventful morning, she had accidentally burnt her hand during food tech and was rushed straight towards the hospital. When her parents heard they too rushed over there hence they got into a car accident and eventually passed away. The only thing that would bring her happiness was that one book her parents left for her: Trials of love. It talked about a young boy named Damian who grew up in poverty but eventually became the grand duke of the Thedo empire. The Thedo empire was named after the first King founder of the empire. Damian grew to love his housekeeper's youngest daughter Eveline. The two had to go through many trials until they earned their happy ending... Of course with the occasional villainess ruining the happy pair. But who would've thought that our female lead ended up as the villainess? The character she hated the most. Camilla Rose Avery was the lost daughter of the present King and Queen. Camilla had been stolen when she was a year old by a maid. She was found by her older brother when he ran into her in an orphanage on one of his royal tours. Her love for Damian meant that she would try to kill Eveline. Because of her evil deed, she ended up being banished to the eastern empire when Damian became the grand duke. He married Eveline and then the story closed. Ella transmigrates into Camilla. However, there was still time to fix everything. She would be kind to Damian in the hope that he would remember her kindness in the future. Our female lead has decided to change her destiny so she tried very hard not to fall in love with Damian. However, the storyline seems to be changing. Why is the male lead running after the villainess this time? ********************************************************** Please vote for this book as I've entered a completion with it. Chapter 58: Hi, we finally meet after so long (3):

"Uncle Robert?" I queered "Are you guys that close?". Dad nodded and Mum replied, "We all grew up together. We entered the imperial academy together,". I nodded. Well, I already knew this but I had to say that I didn't know why.

"Why are you calling him Uncle Robert already? You aren't even calling me dad yet" grumbled Dad whilst Mum laughed slapping his arm. "Are you jealous, Leonard?" she asked whilst father aired her. "Mum, Dad my name is Camilla. Nice to meet you," I announced whilst smiling heartily. They smiled at me whilst patting my head when I said this.

"Hey, what was your first impression of us?" Father asked curiously. I blinked slowly thinking of how to answer his question. "I think my first impression of Dad was that you look like a wise and powerful monarch. My first impression of Mum was that you look gentle and considerate," I replied. The two parents smiled widely as if they were watching me recite a very well-known poem. "You surely know how to please people with your sugar-coated words," Mum added whilst I laughed. Not going to lie I was. I admit it.

Dad looked at his watch and muttered, "While I've got to go. I'll be back. Also Camilla you'll have to go back to the Grand Duke manor tonight. You've to come back bright early in the morning from the front palace gate instead of the portal," whilst I nodded. Dad came over to kiss Mum whilst I looked away in embarrassment.

Dad left and it was only me and Mum left. She grabbed my arm gently and made me sit down. She stared at me and looked at me up and down as if she was watching every facial expression I make. "Is everything ok?" I asked. She looked as she snapped out of her thought process and replied "I'm trying to look at you longer in case this a dream,". I laughed and explained, "In the future, we'll have a lot of time to talk and see each other. And also I don't think this is a dream when I'm here. And you feel alive as well,".

"Ha ha," Mum laughed. I smiled and whispered, "See it's nice to see you smiling again,". She smiled and brought me into her arms again. I gasp as if I had not expected her to hug me so suddenly. She let go of me for a while and asked whether or not she had hurt me. I shook my head and she hugged me again. We cuddled for a while before she finally asked me a question.

"What was your life like at the orphanage?" she asked whilst I stayed quiet for a while. I didn't know how to answer her question. I mean it wasn't pleasant timing but I still had fun. And so, I lied. I lied that it was a pleasant time and that I did make some friends. This was half true I suppose. She must've realised I was lying because she hugged me even tighter. To be honest, I don't mind her hugging me because I really have missed this feeling.

"What about you? What's your life been like?" I asked Mother in return. She paused for a second and explained, "The day you were born I was more than happy because it meant I also had a daughter I could finally cherish. Those naughty boys are only supposed to be honed for them to grow into diligent, respectful men. However, when you went missing because of my stupid mistake, I felt as if a knife had stabbed inside my heart. For the past few years, my heart seemed to have been broken. I lived like a lifeless doll. But, when I saw you again it seemed as if my heart was being placed back together. It felt like I was finally living again,".

"Don't worry, from this day on, you'll have a lot of chances to converse with me," I stated as she hugged me tighter. WE continued to talk about all sorts of stuff from my hobbies to my favourite food and she also told me more about my family. We were having a lovely conversation until father and the grand duke came back in.
