The Villainess?
How did I get here? The last thing I remember was falling asleep after finishing the book: Trials Of Love. How did I become the villainess Camilla who has the same name as me? **************** Our female lead, Camilla used to be a very extrovert person who had many friends and was socially liked by everyone. However, after her parent's death, she was assigned to live with her Uncle and Aunt. Over time she slowly distances herself from her friends as she believes that she doesn't deserve happiness. She thought that she was the reason her parents died. Back then her parents died in a car accident when they were speeding toward the hospital where she was kept. On that very eventful morning, she had accidentally burnt her hand during food tech and was rushed straight towards the hospital. When her parents heard they too rushed over there hence they got into a car accident and eventually passed away. The only thing that would bring her happiness was that one book her parents left for her: Trials of love. It talked about a young boy named Damian who grew up in poverty but eventually became the grand duke of the Thedo empire. The Thedo empire was named after the first King founder of the empire. Damian grew to love his housekeeper's youngest daughter Eveline. The two had to go through many trials until they earned their happy ending... Of course with the occasional villainess ruining the happy pair. But who would've thought that our female lead ended up as the villainess? The character she hated the most. Camilla Rose Avery was the lost daughter of the present King and Queen. Camilla had been stolen when she was a year old by a maid. She was found by her older brother when he ran into her in an orphanage on one of his royal tours. Her love for Damian meant that she would try to kill Eveline. Because of her evil deed, she ended up being banished to the eastern empire when Damian became the grand duke. He married Eveline and then the story closed. Ella transmigrates into Camilla. However, there was still time to fix everything. She would be kind to Damian in the hope that he would remember her kindness in the future. Our female lead has decided to change her destiny so she tried very hard not to fall in love with Damian. However, the storyline seems to be changing. Why is the male lead running after the villainess this time? ********************************************************** Please vote for this book as I've entered a completion with it. Chapter 15: Let's stay at this inn (1):
The conversation ended and the carriage soon grew quiet. "Camilla how about you tell me about yourself," The grand duke asked. I nodded and exclaimed " I like rainy days as it makes me feel happy. I always had a thing with rainy days. Which is quite weird if I say so myself. My favourite colour is dark blue. I like watching starry night. That's about it,". Before my parents passed away I wanted to work at Nasa because I like a starry night. After they passed away I forgot this dream. I use to be just like the cat but later I found comfort in the rain. I sound so emo. He nodded and asked the same question to Damian. "I prefer the cold winter to the sunny summer. I like reading," he stated. I looked at him and asked, "that's it?". He nodded so I drop the conversation. "Are you guys hungry yet?" the grand duke asked. Our tummies grumbled at the same time and we both blushed hard. The grand duke didn't seem to mind and laugh heartily. The last meal we had was breakfast at 7 am and it was near 6 pm. We were starving. The grand duke opened the carriage door and spoke to the driver at the front. There was another carriage behind us which was filled with the grand duke's knights. He was considerate enough to prepare the carriage for them. The butler sat at the front of our carriage with the driver.
Soon we reached an inn and everyone stopped there to grab some food. The waiter who served us was a buff man who had a serpent tattoo on his forearm. Wait where had I seen this tatoo before? Did the book mention it? Wait they were the clan which targeted the royal family. Oh, God. The serpents, I forgot about this. I lowered my hood more and hopefully I wouldn't be seen. I looked at the Grand Duke and it looks like he had the same realisation as he moved in front of me. The grand duke and we sat at one table and his knights sat at the other. I watched as the grand duke made a signal to the knights by strumming his fingers. This was all the information I read in the book. The grand duke began ordering the food for me and Damian and asked if there was anything we couldn't eat. I looked at the menu and shook my head. I didn't have any allergies but Damian didn't like the smell of garlic so he replied as much. The grand duke ordered garlic bread and mushroom soup for me and macaroni for Damian. He ordered roast chicken with potatoes and peas.
Didn't Camilla have allergies to mushrooms? Now I am in her body does that mean I'm also allergic to mushrooms? Oh God just in case. "Grand Duke, I just remembered that I've allergies to mushrooms," I stated, he slapped his head and remembered that the royal family was allergic to mushrooms. "How could I forget that," he muttered. I watched him go up to the bar waiter and state that I had mushroom allergies. The bar waiter was a lady who had green hair, the same serpent tattoo and the medusa tattoo... She is a poor lady... I'm sure she was forced to be here.
