The Villainess?
How did I get here? The last thing I remember was falling asleep after finishing the book: Trials Of Love. How did I become the villainess Camilla who has the same name as me? **************** Our female lead, Camilla used to be a very extrovert person who had many friends and was socially liked by everyone. However, after her parent's death, she was assigned to live with her Uncle and Aunt. Over time she slowly distances herself from her friends as she believes that she doesn't deserve happiness. She thought that she was the reason her parents died. Back then her parents died in a car accident when they were speeding toward the hospital where she was kept. On that very eventful morning, she had accidentally burnt her hand during food tech and was rushed straight towards the hospital. When her parents heard they too rushed over there hence they got into a car accident and eventually passed away. The only thing that would bring her happiness was that one book her parents left for her: Trials of love. It talked about a young boy named Damian who grew up in poverty but eventually became the grand duke of the Thedo empire. The Thedo empire was named after the first King founder of the empire. Damian grew to love his housekeeper's youngest daughter Eveline. The two had to go through many trials until they earned their happy ending... Of course with the occasional villainess ruining the happy pair. But who would've thought that our female lead ended up as the villainess? The character she hated the most. Camilla Rose Avery was the lost daughter of the present King and Queen. Camilla had been stolen when she was a year old by a maid. She was found by her older brother when he ran into her in an orphanage on one of his royal tours. Her love for Damian meant that she would try to kill Eveline. Because of her evil deed, she ended up being banished to the eastern empire when Damian became the grand duke. He married Eveline and then the story closed. Ella transmigrates into Camilla. However, there was still time to fix everything. She would be kind to Damian in the hope that he would remember her kindness in the future. Our female lead has decided to change her destiny so she tried very hard not to fall in love with Damian. However, the storyline seems to be changing. Why is the male lead running after the villainess this time? ********************************************************** Please vote for this book as I've entered a completion with it. Chapter 104: Strange (1):
Meanwhile with the Grand Duke Ellis and King Leonard Avery.
"Your Majesty, the grand duke," announced Klein towards the King inside the study room. "Greetings Your Majesty," greeted Robert Ellis as he bowed before the King. The King gestured for Klein to leave before asking Robert Ellis to sit down.
"Robert, how is the investigation on the illegal auction going?" the King asked as the Grand Duke began telling him the process of the investigation. "There are too many layers of people hiding behind the real mastermind. They won't say anything even under torture. I couldn't find out the real mastermind. I must apologise, Your Majesty," he explained. "It's not your fault. If we could easily find the mastermind then that's what's suspicious. But since many officers brought maids or servants from here, I'm guessing the mastermind is someone of high status," Leonard mumbled.
"Someone of high status?" questioned Robert as Leonard nodded. "Extended members of the royal family? Those are the only people who I can think of. They will even benefit from the extinguishment of all 3 highnesses. They must also know the schedule of His Highness/ Her Highness," analysed Robert, "I will try getting some of my spies into their manor and find out who it is," as Leonard nodded.
"The second thing is the Ravens. Have you found anything on them?" Leonard uttered as Robert shook his head. "I've sent people to their old headquarters and every place, any of them stayed but there was nothing. It really seems as though they were extinguished," he replied. "Extinguish my ****," swore Leonard as Robert immediately shouted for him to quiet down. "Rest assured I will continue investigating," muttered Robert when Leonard was somewhat calm.
"Well, how's getting to know Camilla?" asked Robert "And how are her lessons going?". "Well you can personally hear yourself," replied Leonard as a knock came from outside. "Come in," Leonard ordered as Klein walked in with Ms Mackay. Ms Mackay greeted the King and Grand Duke before looking at them. At this point, Klein had already gone outside. "This is Ms Mackay, Camilla's governess," explained Leonard, "Can you just tell us about Camilla's performance on her first day,".
Ms Mackay nodded and replied, "The Princess, is surely a good person. She knows some basic etiquette and table manners. However, her dancing and walking posture are horrible. It's the worst I have ever seen yet I'm not sure I can blame her. Yet some parts are very strange. She seems to know how to play a lot of instruments but I'm not sure where she learnt. From the information I got from Her Majesty, Princess Camilla probably didn't even know what these instruments were, yet she was able to play them. Additionally, how come Camilla knows basic etiquette but doesn't know how to dance," explained Ms Mackay.
Leonard nodded and asked her to get out. "So, what do you think?" asked Leonard towards Robert. "That is quite strange," he exclaimed, "But I wanna hear everything first,".
Again, someone nodded and in walked Klein and the rest of the teachers. This included Mr Neil, Madam Ravert, Mr Loveland and Mr Turing. "Your Majesty, Grand Duke," they chorused as Leonard gestured for them to get up. "Can you all please give a short summary of Camilla in her lessons?" ordered Leonard as they all nodded.
Mr Turing was the first to start. "Her Highness seems quite a diligent student in mathematics. I think she chose not to do the easy question yet instead she chose to do the harder question. I suppose that way she could get it done quicker. This also means she isn't dumb and has done these questions before. However, what makes me wonder is how she could do mathematics. Some of the questions are even questions I made up myself so there is no way she could have done it," explained Mr Turing. Leonard and Robert nodded.
Next was Mr Neil. "Her Highness seems to have no knowledge of Theodian history which is quite weird. Even if she has lived in an orphanage her whole life she must have learnt some Theodian history. And it seems as if she didn't have any interest in Theodian history," explained Mr Neil as Leonard and Robert nodded.
