Home Sweet Home II

Hina barely made it to page twenty of her new read Kai had gifted her. After saying goodnight to Kai, she had enjoyed the smoothness of her chocolate tea before turning to the novel. She had opened the hardcover book, flipping the crisp pages of the book but her eyelids quickly got heavy as she forced herself to read through and she didn't even know when she fell asleep. Her body and mind, tired and worn out.

The spring sunlight exploded into the room through the opened curtains, beaming over her skin as she mumbled something unintelligible. Moaning, she rolled over in her bed and burrowed further under the covers, continuing part two of her slumber. This felt good. She could perceive a sweet familiar scent lingering in front of her nose and she hugged the cloth even more. What was this that smelt so nice to the point of being intoxicating? She had perceived this scent somewhere before.
