1 An Eye Candy?!

A girl with sharp blue eyes stared at the screen and typed furiously with a crazed expression on her face. Her typing speed was so fast that she didn't stop even for a second.

Beside her, there was a bottle of water on the table that she hurriedly picked up and sipped a few times before placing it back on the table. The entire room was short and simple with only a table on which she was working, a wardrobe, a door to the outer hallway, and a small door on the side leading to the bathroom.

The entire room smelt of disinfectant. Good thing that the window was opened, otherwise the smell would become even more horrible inside the room.

The main door snapped open as a nurse entered with a bottle. When she saw the lady dressed in a simple white outfit typing on and on furiously as if venting something, the nurse sighed and said, "Abigail dear, it's time for your medicine."

The lady with blue eyes didn't even glance at her. Her entire focus was directed toward the screen where she was typing.

Even the scene was very intense as she typed—

'Abigail looked at the man with an evil glint in her eyes. She moved the knife in her hand, turning it round and round as she walked closer and closer to her bound victim.

The man trembled as he sobbed. "Let me go! It was you all along! You killed those people, didn't you?!"

"Let you go?!" The lady spoke and glared at him, tapping the knife against the man's cheek. "You stole my man, and I should let you go?! I've been waiting for this day for a long time!"

The man cried as tears rolled down his cheeks. "I didn't know you loved him! Weren't you married to my brother-in-law—"

"Don't!" The woman's eyes turned even colder. "You don't have the authority to call him brother-in-law! You're not a part of my family!"

"And… And you still dare to eye your own brother-in-law! Don't you have some shame?!" The man knew he was about to die. So he looked at her with traces of anger in his eyes. "You deserve to die!"

The lady laughed loudly as she dragged the knife to his neck, saying, "Say goodbye to your lover."

Before she could do anything, the door was pushed open and a young man dressed in a suit was revealed. Despite his messy appearance and dark circles under his eyes, he still looked handsome with his black hair and cyan eyes.

Upon seeing the lady, he was shocked, but he instantly snatched the knife and—'

Before Abigail could write further, the nurse shut the laptop and sighed, saying, "Ma'am, your medicine."

Abigail looked confused at first and pouted, looking extremely depressed as traces of sadness appeared on her face. "You… You didn't even let me finish. I was so close to the ending!"

"Weren't you writing a BL romance novel?" The nurse also looked confused. "How come you're killing people?"

Abigail finally looked a little anxious as she covered her laptop with her hands and said, "You're not allowed to read! Go away!"

"But—"

"Go, go, go, GO!!!!"

"Okay, relax." The nurse shrugged and pointed at the bottle on the table. "Drink it before you go to bed."

"Just GO!!!!"

The nurse walked outside the room and closed the room. Behind her, Abigail stared at the bottle with a hint of coldness in her eyes. Traces of anger flickered in the depths of her eyes as she stared.

This bottle… This bottle was the reason why she couldn't finish the ending! It deserves to be thrown to the ground and shattered to pieces!

But before that…

She picked it up, emptied the bottle, and threw most of the pills on the ground. Then she threw the glass bottle to the ground as if venting her emotions. She was so angry that her eyes turned red as her breathing increased.

But once she had vented her emotions, she calmed down in an instant as if she weren't angry at all. She even looked a little guilty as she looked at the pills she had left in her hands earlier and threw them in her mouth, swallowing them.

"The nurse will scold me again," she mumbled under her breath and glanced at the laptop, and hesitated before she sighed. "I'll continue tomorrow."

For some reason, she felt a little dizzy as she lay on the bed, covering herself with her blanket. But at this time, she didn't know that she would never wake up in this world.

In the morning, the nurse came to check up on her when she opened the door and looked at the messy ground. A trace of helplessness crossed her eyes. "I thought she had improved…. She would even take her medicines on time…. Sigh, I'll clean this up first."

So, she cleaned up, and after that, she found the girl still sleeping. A frown appeared on her forehead as she walked closer. "Abigail? Wake up. It's ten in the morning."

But the girl didn't wake up. Her balayage hair was scattered all over her face and her chest looked silent, too silent.

The nurse was horrified as she checked the girl's body. Her face paled.

No… Abigail died?!

The nurse instantly rushed outside the room in a hurry.

***

Abigail opened her eyes and looked at the scene in front of her eyes.

There was a piece of paper on the table, and her hand lightly held a pen as she stood there, staring at the paper in confusion.

Wasn't she sleeping on her bed?

Then…. Was this an illusion?

No, this had to be her dream!

So she raised her hand and pinched her arms, only to cry out loud. "OW, OW!"

"Sign." A cold voice vibrated into her surroundings. "Otherwise, the boss won't like it."

She raised her head and looked at the man standing on the other side of the table with glasses on the bridge of his nose. He pushed them back as his black eyes stared back at her, dressed in a black suit with a gray vest. His fierce gaze made her eyes widen in surprise.

An eye candy?!

Ah, if an eye candy told her to jump off the building, she would do so without hesitation!

She grinned and happily signed the paper without even reading it. Then she handed it over to the man, who stood there in shock.

"You… You actually signed?"

"I shouldn't have?" Abigail tilted her head.

"She signed?" Another cold, icy voice vibrated from the back, almost jolting her. "I thought she would make a scene."

And then, Abigail turned to look at another eye candy standing at the door.

A familiar man…

Gray eyes.

Brunette with warm golden blond shades.

Tall and handsome.

Likes wearing black clothes.

Has a shiny watch on his wrist, basically a Graff Diamonds Hallucination, which costs about $55 million!

Abigail's eyes widened as she blurted out a name, basically the name of an eye candy character she created in her novel—"Nicholas?!"
