Kalliope clutched on to Argan's shirt while the demon slowly lifted his arm to place Kalliope's head on his chest, cutting the scene behind him from her vision.

Then, with calculated action and careful decision, Argan moved his feet and paced forward while his hand was still covering her mouth. Meanwhile, due to the disadvantageous condition she was in right now, Kalliope understandingly remained silent in his arms.

She tried not to distract him while deep down, she was gathering her mana once again bit by bit in a way that would miss Argan's detection. Since he was a demon, of course, his acute senses would pick up even the smallest movement of magic particle in the air.
