Lucia emerged from the portal in front of the forgetting statue. She wondered why she had been brought there but the answer became evident. From just beyond, in the depths of the pit of tears, A foul energy permeated from it. It was a tangible sense of dread. A pure malevolent aura that scarred the area around. Lucia set her eyes upon it and walked resolutely to the edge of the pit. 

The miasma was so thick it covered the depths within completely. Lucia walked down the steps engraved along the walls of the pit. She descended down into the miasma, tracing her hand along the wall to guide down. It was dark but for a pale glow of the sky which faded the further she went.
