Well, the story is good, but author should write Cranberry perspective a little bit in earlier chpaters to hook many readers. From what i see in first few chapters, author should have some strategies to make it less irritating to read. Another thing is that many characters are very interesting ,so maybe author should present their pov sometImes as an extra chapters or something.
This is actually really good. I'm surprised it's such a discreet story, given the quality. I mean, less than a third of a million views, just 90 power stones, and 17 reviews? At the risk of sounding like another copy of every reviewer ever, I'm going to say that this deserves many times over the current views it has. I mean, it's disrespectful, is what it is. Nevermind a diamond in the rough, this is like spotting a blank check signed Bill Gates in the sewers. If you're reading this review, then I really recommend scrolling back up and reading the novel, maybe throwing a few powerstones the author's way. I'll say it again, but it's disrespectful how out of the way this novel is. I'm not even a romance-novel type of guy, because they're always so basic, but this has been a genuinely fun read for me so far. Anyway, writing quality great, not many mistake, update good, chapter daily, story great, no goal but still great, character great, they grow good, world background ok, not much detail but i overlook
Alright so this is my first time writing a review so bear with me ok so i will explain what i like, what i dont like and why >first of writing quality: the writing quality is good, i did not give it a five star since its not on the level of Shakespearean literature but its good so yeah >next one is story development: so must i say that the story's pacing and development is very well done. it never gets boring and will always keep you wanting to read more and know whats next [although i hated how spoiled cranberry acts its very reasonable and is actually vital to her character (just my opinion not a fact) i still hate her a bit though cause she still acts like a B] >ok third ah yes character design: ok so here it is i rated this with a crunchy 3 stars why? cause the author doesnt really care about side characters and when it comes to character description he does it very vaguely which in my opinion kinda makes it bad since you will subconsciously try and create a mental image which will not be good when this thing finally gets a manga >Fourth updating stability so this is the part where i am very understanding and thus i gave it a fat 4 cause i know how busy one can be and how hard it is to manage time >anddd finally world background: so if only there was something like a 4.5 star id rate it since its quite original... ok well except for the system but even that is different since everyone has it and the way it is used is very original or atlest ive never heard it before overall i came for the cliche otome trope but was pleasantly surprised to find something pretty good so yeah pretty much tthats all i can think about to say solid 4.2
From time to time webnovel surprises me i think that's this is the most beta mc ever, then i will read another novel and what i tought to be the top beta will become some Giga chad in confront to the new and improved beta man ( in this case this novel). Soo where to start? This guy dies and is reincarnated in a world of magic. then dies again and is ressurected as an eternal slave. The little girl who kills him is like a name what do you need one to? from now on your name is zombie then in the next chapters he will be abused in all sorts of ways with insults beating and cutting of limbs. The mc? completly fine with it ( it seems that in the future he may also love her) he was a child when he was killed on the street, in daylight, his family forgotten by the killers ( they are nobles why should they care after all? ) Later since the readers disliked the beta oh sorry the mc for being like: "Huh, so i am a slave? fine with me!" the author tried to patch it with an auxiliar chapter in which the beta will have his conscience rewritten by the system ( what whas the point on giving the mc a backstory since now he is no more than a husk?) so he can accept being a slave. this patch was worse tought at least to me ( slaves mc are a big no no, but forced rewritting of your conscience to be the perfect slave is an even bigger no no) *SLAPS NOVEL* This badboy contains so much beta energy that it can take a rocket to the moon and back
Loved the story (Male btw) and It was entertaining and a fun action novel until after the eternal awaken chapters. Went downhill fast, everything you liked about it before is gone, the title gone. He basically goes and get's strong once he's reborn, not only does he not get eternal race but he keeps most of his intelligence and basically forces the story. The title just goes out the window to "Fix the story" and it basically ruins anything that was good about it. Honestly don't bother reading after eternal awaken end. Just absolute trash after that. Everything is 5 stars until after eternal awaken, after that it's 0 stars, I'd love to have 2 ratings for each part but for this one it's 5 stars since this will be before the awakening, absolute gem of a story that had many parts i go back to read. Don't forget this is just before the awakening end, anything else is absolute trash, author came up with a bs reason to change everything and didn't even do that well, and what I mean by "well" is that he keeps a title from before the reset, he not only doesn't immediately go back to become a zombie but he get's strong enough that the thing that killed him before didn't work, and then he pulls what I'm assuming is a magical horse monster out of nowhere to kill him, and of course the mc turns into a regular zombie after that, he not only forced the story but changed everything including the name.
The story seems kind of silly at the start but it's actually really good, just get past chap 6 and it's gonna show it's value. There are a lot of original and cool ideas,it starts with bicycle kun killing our Mc and his sent in a world with some funny names, but after that it develops in a quite serious way. Give it a try you won't regret it
I was too harsh on my judgement when I first began reading, it gets really good a few chapters in. The relationship between Zombie and Cranberry is really well-written and some parts even got me panicking. The characters you're supposed to hate will make you hate them, and the characters you're supposed to like will make you love them. Very well done, and I apologize for the unfair assessments I had earlier on. Easily the best novel I've read on Webnovel, and on the top 3 I've ever read.
