"So in the meantime - let me introduce to you Charlotte, your new tutor"

The Duke had called Charlotte that morning. She was about to find out more from Louis when she was called. She thought - at first - that it was about the birthday of this person who hadn't even introduced herself to her. However, things turned out differently.

The moment the door opened and she saw a very familiar figure was the moment her eyes widened and her mouth parted slightly

However, Charlotte could not finish when the Duke interrupted her

"Seems Charlotte already knew you, Sir Leon?"

"Please, my lord, you may call me by my name. Oh, and we met last night, my lord, at Lucien's birthday party."

But before Charlotte could realize what was happening in front of her, Leon had already knelt down and took one of her hands again and kissed her gently on the back. There, a giggle escaped her as her eyes did the clapping. Such scenarios never escape Leon and make his heart beat faster than before. The time she was about to walk out the door - was the time Leon immediately grasped one of her hands firmly but gently

There Charlotte's eyes widened and for the time being – her eyebrows drew together. She was confused as to why Leon suddenly stopped her. However, as she based it on his gaze, she felt as if she had seen a different kind of person than the one she had previously taught

'Wait, why is he looking at me like that?! Is something wrong with me? Did I answer them all wrong?'

Her thoughts switched from Louis to Leon - but it only took Leon a second to immediately let go of Charlotte, as if shocked by his own actions as well, causing Charlotte to close her eyes and let out a sigh

'I guess he just did it without even thinking. Well, whatever it is - I don't have tim--------'

However, Charlotte couldn't finish what she was thinking when Leon immediately addressed her

"L-Lady Charlotte, do you have this afternoon off------"

Yet this time – Leon wasn't able to finish what he was saying, knowing that Charlotte had given him a straight answer straight away and all he thought was a flat denial

"No, Sir Leon - I will do something this afternoon and for the rest of the day. I have no free time."

After saying that, Charlotte still smiled at Leon and the young man still managed to smile at Charlotte even though he knew he had a small pain in his heart. He couldn't even give up at the moment, knowing that he was the one who called his grandfather that night to make him the young lady's tutor in the first place

From that moment on, Leon went to the Duke early in the morning. With that he even had those letters from his grandfather and with that - the duke used to let Ludwig know he could build the garden whenever he wanted. Therefore, he was able to take some time off just to visit the lady and see what had happened to them that night.

With that, Charlotte didn't waste a minute being in the library as she immediately went outside to find Louis. There she found him smiling in the garden. His kind of smile was refreshing as the golden rays of the sun hit his whole figure making him look more gorgeous

Charlotte's eyes felt riveted. The way she was stuck in her position says it all and Leon's eyes never failed to see the lady scouting for such a butler.

Nobody knew that Leon also has a side, and that is a side that is a devil. The side he can never let go of because he wanted to protect the image he had built up. Especially with the family he had

'Hmmm, interesting. I guess the lady had a bit of an attraction to the butler - but does the butler even know that? I doubt. But just looking at them gives me thrills and chills! Hahahaha'

He thought in his head when the equivalent of the feelings that he felt for the lady's earlier rejection was the sheer delight he currently sees in the lady and the way she is acting at the moment

Meanwhile, Louis was enjoying his gardening until his eyes caught a shadow, and that was the lady's shadow.

Then Charlotte lets out a giggle, while Louis only lets out a sigh after that – but the corners of his mouth had already turned up like a sunny sky
