~12~ Louis as the Lady's Temporary Tutor?!

Night came and it was a night any normal person would expect. But Charlotte - she doesn't seem to fall asleep as she was still fresh in her mind about what had happened before and it only made her heart beat faster than she could even imagine.

Hoping that she would calm down immediately - she glanced at the window to see the moon illuminating the area when her eyes caught a sight that made her cheeks flush as usual.

It was just because of Louis' gift to her earlier. All she saw was the yellow rose on a clear vase full of water.

'Even though he was busy with everything - he still managed to do that for me - even staying by my side while he was doing something on the other side. From what I could observe he wasn't weak at all, he was the type of person who can work hard at something he should work at and I was one of those people. At first I thought he was just joking when he said he would stay with me from the day I snuck out of the household with Harriett, but it seemed like he wasn't kidding at all . I've learned so much more from him over the past few days and all he does is smile afterwards. Even after my private lessons with my private tutors - he's always behind the door and makes me feel a warmth inside that I haven't felt in so long.'

Charlotte was deep in thought until her gaze strayed from elsewhere, taking it away from the yellow rose that lifted the sides of her lips.

Then, without hesitation, she went to the window of the room and looked at the moon shining brightly above her. Her eyes were already smacking from such a perfect landscape looking at her and her smile had widened the moment the soft, gentle breeze of the night caressed her face and swayed her cream colored hair as she closed her eyes for a moment and giggled

'It seems like tomorrow will be a different day - with Louis by my side.'

Then, with those thoughts in her head, she just shook her head with a smile on her face as she finally decided to go straight to her bed to sleep

Dawn broke - the heat of the sun penetrates everywhere and never avoided the soundly sleeping lady's room. Warm flashes of sunlight were already cutting through her window and into her pale skin, making her rosier than ever.

Although the heat was already sinking down on her skin - she could not yet wake up from such heat in her dream - she only dreamed of the person who had been with her for the past few days.

In her dream, Louis carried her after what happened when she just got lost in the middle of the forest. There she is punished so severely, but not by her father - by Louis

"No! Please! Louis! You're my butler, so I have to be the one to order you, not the other way around!"

However, instead of answering her in her sleep, giggles echoed around her room only to find that Louis had already entered the lady's room just to wake her up.

When he entered the lady's room - he was about to wake the lady up when suddenly he heard such a noise. He had heard such a sweet, gentle voice that made him pause for a moment until he saw the lady speaking in her sleep. So there was a chuckle in her room, but the lady never felt awake from it

'Look at the lady - she even dreams about me in her sleep and it seems like I'm the bad guy in it. I could only imagine what a dream she already has with me.'

Louis was curious and that made him listen more to what the lady was saying when suddenly he - he couldn't even contain his laughter when he heard what Charlotte said next

"Wait, what? You want me to eat this?

'Well, well, well, I think she's having a fight in her dreams with someone that she's been able to give up completely with her almighty pride. I could only imagine who this type of person is.'

Louis calmed down for a while until he was already thinking clearly. After his tearful laugh, he looked at the lady again and shook his head while still smiling.

'She amazes me every time. I'm just glad she's been able to change over the last few days I've been with her. I guess getting her to behave was the number one priority I'll have for the time I'll be here with her.'

Then, as if he had finally made up his mind - Louis, no doubt about it - he yelled softly at the lady, which made Charlotte's eyes widen as she sat on her bed and looked like she had seen something horrific.

Her eyes widened, mouths opened, eyebrows furrowed, and her breathing quickened as her hands cupped the part of her chest where her heart beats

"What was that?!"

She screamed, and as she looked around her room, something familiar caught her eye that made her eyes widen even more than before

"Louis! You always wake me up like that! Can't you just wake me up like you always do?"

"All right, alright - I guess I'll do that - I don't have a choice sooner and it seems like you're lost in your dreams that I haven't even had a chance to ruin them without yelling at you, my lady ."

'Wait, is he serious? For a second he addressed me seriously - but when I looked at him - he was still wearing his creepy smile!'

Charlotte for a moment - sighed as she shook her head and looked seriously at Louis

"Louis, if you want to wake me up the way I wanted, just do it."

Charlotte didn't know why she spoke like that, and she could teach Louis how to wake herself up without even trying. It's as if someone has been controlling her actions and body in the meantime, widening her eyes as she took Louis' hand and placed it on her forehead, just massaging it in a circular motion.

Since she was already aware of what she was doing, she immediately released her grip on Louis' hands and looked away from him, who just nodded gravely at her

'So that was her sensitive spot to be awake right away. Okay - from now on - then I'll do something like this'

This time - Louis let out a sigh and took his hands off the lady's forehead and instead held both her hands and smiled at her

"My lady – Sir Oswald will be retiring soon, and I expect your tutor in Imperial history and etiquette is yet to be decided. In short - for the whole week I was notified by the Duke - your father - as your temporary tutor. As you can see, the Duke tested me, and I say - I have perfected all his tests. So from now on, whenever we are in the library, call me sir."

'What the hell? He's too young to be my tutor-------'

However – in this case, Charlotte was unable to finish her thoughts as he only saw Louis acting with such graceful manners as an elegant nobleman.

"You know what Louis? If I hadn't known you as my butler - I would believe you to be one of the nobles."

"My lady - if you want to know more about me - why don't you try to study hard and be a good girl? Plus, I might even share my likes and dislikes with you."

"W-Who said I-I'd like to w-know more about you?!"

"Milady?"

Louis wanted to tease Charlotte and she was already being teased, making her cheeks flush at the moment. But what made her eyes widen again was the fact that all she could hear was Louis giggling in front of her

"You know, my lady, I'm beginning to realize that you're so cute when you're being teased like that."

"Shut up - Louis!"

"Well, I'm always open to any request you make, even the earlier ones - I'll take care of them, just ask me anytime, my lady."

'What is this guy thinking?! Does he think he could catch me with just those things?! W-Well, N-No way!'

But Charlotte's heart had behaved in exactly the opposite way. Even though she wanted to say no, her heart told her to give in until her mouth responded without her knowing it

"W-well, I-I guess I might consider it"

Like a whisper - Louis heard every word of it - even if it's low enough that no one can attach importance

"Then it's settled, my lady. Right now - we must go to your daily routine."
