115 If only Nash knew

An hour later Persephone reached Nico's house. She still didn't know why Ginevra had to invite her. With a sigh, she stepped inside the threshold of the Scuderi house. But the scene that she came upon shook Persephone to the core. 

"Gia, why don't you understand?" Nico was scowling at his sister. Never had Persephone ever seen him showing such grave expressions than this time. He was always indifferent and calm like nothing could ever touch him. But today she saw a very different scene. 

"It's not me who needs to understand but you bro!" Ginevra was not the one to back down easily. "She didn't want to marry you! Why are you forcing her?!''

Persephone felt as if Ginevra was taking her side. 

"She doesn't understand what's good for her," Nico told his sister. "I'm the best option for her. She can get out of that bloody haunted house if she marries me. What else does she want?!"
