Fray burst from the mansion, his eyes widening in alarm at the sight of monstrous hordes charging toward city hall, and the ominous entity rising like a shadowy spectre.

(What is going on? This wasn't supposed to happen) Fray's thoughts raced, his expression etched with concern. He scanned the chaos, realizing escape was futile; monsters swarmed everywhere, and the entity's aura was overwhelming. It seemed unlikely the others could flee, likely trapped inside city hall.

"I can't make it there on foot," Fray muttered, searching desperately for a gap.

Spotting a narrow path through the teeming monsters, Fray crouched and propelled himself against the mansion's wall. Channelling his strength into his legs, he used the wall as a springboard, catapulting himself toward city hall, his body soaring through the air like a bullet.
